Do NOT buy from this company if you live outside the UK. I made an order put in my postal details and paid for shipping that they quoted only to have them hold my fully paid order ransom requesting more money for postage. If they give you a postage price they should honour it. Disgusting, disgraceful behaviour and service. I have now made an order of the exact same items from another store in the UK and have just had confirmation and tracking sent to me advising my order is on the way and my postal price given was the same as Horse Direct! Just shows they rip off international customers

Definitely poor customer service inclined to agree with an earlier review about blaming the horse. Customer blaming horse for leaning over a fence with barbed wire assumption. Firstly I don’t possess fields with barbed wire! Both sides of neck cover show the fraying of the lining so that doesn’t make sense. I won’t be buying from you again either! Buyer beware

What excellent service!! I cannot fault this company at all. I got a great purchase online that was intended for a Christmas present. After the purchase I realised that It was not likely to arrive in time due to the postal strikes as they use Royal Mail. I contacted them reluctantly and spoke to a really helpful member of staff who reassured me that they will use an alternative method to get the delivery and literally in less then 24 hours the item arrived . Absolutely brilliant service extremely happy with the item and how you dealt with everything so efficiently. Thank you so much!

Poor customer service I bought a pair of Le mieux gladiator fight the flies boots from your stand at badminton horse trials on the 8th of may and the Velcro has completely torn off poor quality and didn’t even last 2 weeks after contacting customer service because I paid cash and the woman on the stall never gave me a receipt I’m now out of pocket £45 won’t be buying from you again!

Appalling product & customer service from both Shires & Horse Direct.
Brand new fly mask with fringes worn once and stitching has broken and fringes fallen out. Explanation from Shires is that the horse must have rubbed on something, it is not faulty and neither Horse Direct nor Shores exchange or refund without me paying to send it back.
