Not happy that the filters needed change so soon only 6months old last dishwasher lasted 15years no break downs at all.But the man who came out to repair it was very nice and professional came when he said he would and left as soon as it was fixed.So happy with him.
Hotpoint appliances extended guarantee
Firstly, upon calling the registration tel nbr the man who answered was polite, helpful etc, I couldn't fault him.
What I didn't like was instead of getting on with the registration of my appliances I had to listen to why I should get extended warranty, at a cost, from Domestic General!! You used to be able to register appliances without a phone call ie filling in a form online and getting a proper written confirmation that it had been done, showing the appliance name, model, serial nbr. I feel that the phone call way was a complete waste of time. No extended warranty without payment, just the standard year. I won't bother next time.

I was helped by speaking to a human being. She explained every thing and was very helpful. Please do not have this service transferred to stupid AI. In fact I order my cooker by way of telephone. I was given very helpful advice and assistance with ordering my hotpoint cooker.
Extremely poor customer service please do not use them
I called to complain about the service provided. Spoken rudely to by staff. No active complaint service(im serious) false information provided totally contadicting the consumer rights act. I would like to add to this. Ive quoted to them the right to refuse act. They refuse to acknowledge this even though im asking them specifically for a new appliance or refund as the machine was delivered faulty and reported within a couple of days to them. Im well within the 28 days covered by the act. I am therefore stating publically and in writing that i would like a new appliance or a refund under the right to refuse act. I would like hotpoint to confirm in their response which they will never publically do, confirm what their process is in regard to replacing or refunding a purchase within 28 days of purchase. Despite me complaining about the 28 day team and the way their staff speak to people they referred me back to them refusing to acknowledge my request under the act. Ive now gad to open a case with trading standards.
