All of us at Howes Models take great pride in the fact that 'Howes' have been trading since 1939 and we are the longest serving Model Shop in the UK. We offer a great range of radio controlled boats, cars, planes, tanks, drones and more. We keep a large range of batteries, not just for RC models such as LIPO & NIMH's but batteries for bait boats, ride on toy cars, alarms and motorbikes. We also have a large Pre-Owned Model Railway department with stock being added daily! Aswell as selling our very popular Model Railway 'Howes' sound chips. We are the home of the Lake Reaper bait boats and keep a full list of spares, a variety of upgrades and accessories and more! We are available to give help and advice over the phone Monday-Friday from 09:00-16:00 and have a fast response rate for emails.

Absolutely brilliant service
Absolutely brilliant service. Very helpful before purchasing and then I realised our road was going to be shut so phoned them to ask them to delay dispatch, which they kindly did. In receiving the order we noticed we were missing a cosmetic piece of trim (the item arrived in a factory sealed box) I phoned them to explain and they were very polite and said they would get back to me. Within half an hour they had called back to say the missing part was being sent and we received it the next day. Wonderful old fashioned service. Greatly appreciated

Great Customer Experience
I visited the store to seek advice of getting my first radio controlled car. Great advice, and not pushed to spend more than I needed, in fact I spent less than I thought and got a great model with expert guidance. Hit a few novice issues, but a phone call steered me to the solution.
I am already planning my next purchase and these guys will be my first port of call.
