The engineer was very polite and explained everything very well.

Yesterday I had an engineer named Ali who was extremely knowledgeable, polite and I am very pleased with the service provided. He took me though each step of the filter and explained everything really well. Even though he wasn’t able to carry out the whole service due to not being able to access the vents as they were not accessible, he still tried his best to find a way if it was possible.
It’s people like him that remind you that the world is a very kind place and there are nice people out there who take their job seriously.
I am happy with how the company handled everything and will be using them again when needed!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with HRV Group was a complete nightmare. There is zero transparency when it comes to their pricing. They give arbitrary quotes that feel entirely pulled out of thin air. It's a classic bait-and-switch tactic. When I tried to address my concerns, their customer service was shockingly poor, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Do not trust them—this company is a total trap for unsuspecting customers.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this company. My engineer appointments were cancelled twice—on 26/03 and 24/04—both on the day, with no adequate resolution offered.

I paid £205 upfront on 09/02/25, and nearly three months later the service still hasn’t been delivered. At this point, it feels like I’ve given the company an interest-free loan while receiving nothing in return.

As a result, my ventilation servicing is now over two months overdue.

To make matters worse, I was promised a partial refund twice (27/04 and 05/05), each time being told it would arrive within 3–5 days. It still hasn’t been received. The refund itself is only £20, which feels wholly inadequate given the circumstances—especially when their own T&Cs state that I would be charged £135 per cancellation if I had cancelled within 48 hours (totalling £270 across two missed appointments).

Overall, this reflects a lack of reliability, poor communication, and failure to honour commitments. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this service.

UPDATE 13/5/26: Following this review, the company contacted me directly to apologise for the experience and has now issued a 50% refund of the service fee. This shows a sincere effort to repair the customer relationship and a meaningful recognition of the issues encountered before.

The service engineer arrived for the appointment on time. The service was carried out professionally and I was also given guidance on how to ensure that the MVHR system is working properly and efficiently.

Your operative carried out a thorough job of checking my MVHR installation and making recommendations, which I will now follow. He was polite and informative.

Technician Dexter was professional, on time and provided useful maintenance tips. Would recommend!

£185 service done in less than 20mins! Filters not changed even though this was included in the quote. Notified the company and after some discussion and me expressing my dissatisfaction they have rebooked another service with filter change for me. I will pay close attention to the work carried out when the engineer returns.
