I had a little trouble with Mallory Rock than I had with Curtain Call but I still enjoyed going through all the boxes and figuring things out. Totally recommend.

I found I was missing an episode in an older series I had purchased from Hunt A Killer. I don't know if I didn't receive it or if I somehow misplaced it. I contacted customer service to see if there was a way I could order a replacement and Mary responded almost immediately. She asked for a little bit of information and then took care of everything for me. I have been impressed with this company from the beginning because of the ease of ordering and continuing my subscription with them but this was one of the best customer service experiences ever. Great job!

This game has been great and we look forward to leaving the tv off and tackling the mysteries on the nights that we have time away from work which helps us communicate more after long days. We love mystery games and this game did not disappoint with the difficulty level as it was consistently interesting with all of the details and really had us thinking.
I am very happy we decided to add this fun element to our lives and are always looking forward to our next package which have continued to come in a very timely manner. Highly recommended already to all our friends and family and to anyone else looking for something fun and captivating to do in order to unwind.

One of the episodes for Mallory Rock was unsolvable. We spent hours on it before I looked up the hints/answers and it turns out what we were supposed to do did not work. Spoilers below.

I'm talking about the episode where we are supposed to eliminate Reverand Reaver as a suspect. There was an email link that did not work on my iPhone Safari browser, making this episode impossible to solve.

Incredible game. The attention to detail is exceptional, and you truly feel immersed in the game. Super fun to play with friends and family. Took us about 2 hours to complete each box. I’m already ordering the next one!

Hunt A Killer is so much fun, we have gone through an entire season and expedited the shipping of each box because we were so hooked on cracking the case!

So much fun! Definitely engaging and immersive and in my opinion, worth the price! Only thing keeping me from a 5 star review is that they use DHL which never arrives on time and sends me a 'delayed' message literally every package and that I feel like the first season I did needed flushed out. But definitely an A+ experience! Can't wait for the next season!

Fun for a date night! Puzzles/codes were cool, figuring out timeline is interesting and can be challenging. The first season was great and well written. The second season we did was boring and uninteresting. The third season was great until the very last box, which felt rushed and pulled tiny details from things that didn’t matter 4 months prior, and we were expected to tie them together. We had to use the hints/reveals and even then felt frustrated that the minor details came out of nowhere and didn’t make a ton of sense.

I am really enjoying it! Just finished Mallory Rock and am now on to Off The Record! The hardest part is waiting between episodes so I tend to have them go ahead and ship the next episode ASAP each time.

We’ve done a few of these now. The attention to detail and the production quality is always amazing. Super fun!

I have done many hunt a killers and really enjoy them. The Mallory Rock one was really tough, and pieces of the online portal were not working so I was missing evidence and had to rely on the hints more that I like to. I will still purchase the premiums but and going to hold off on the subscriptions for now. Hopefully HAK will be able to change some of the evidence on future ones to still be challenging but not too hard.

I find it exciting each month when we get our box. This is what my husband and I do for a date night.

The items and clues were uninteresting and the murder mystery too easy. Not worth the cost.

Their mysteries are so well put together. The items in the box are perfect and the mysteries are challenging without being impossible

Fantastic details and well-thought out storytelling makes Hunt A Killer a perfect activity for singles or groups. As a couple who has been together for over 25 years, we’ve found it works well for a regular weekend date.

This is a great subscription box. The cases draw you in and make you feel like you are really a part of the environment.
The goals for each box are balanced well enough to offer a challenge to all players, but yet also allow all players to feel comfortable playing. Something else I like about it is, I do these boxes with my 13yr old and it is teaching him to slow down, pay attention to all of the details and make educated decisions once the facts are laid out in front of him.

Great gift to buy! The story and all the evidence is really well put together. The experience is fun and great to do with a SO/family. My only regret was not getting all the boxes at once since we were hooked from the start. Nonetheless, the customer service was very good and we were able to get expedited deliveries on the rest of our story. I really can’t recommend it enough for mystery buffs, I will definitely be a customer again.

I would say an average box took about 3 hours to go through if you were going quickly so you are really looking at 18+ hours of entertainment easily, which makes it a solid value.

My wife and I just completed Mallory Rock series and we had so much fun! We are obsessed and can't wait until we receive our next season!! We also did Death at a Dive Bar (which is what got us hooked in the first place) Thank you for this wonderful experience!!

We love this in our house! We are murderinos and solving mysteries is our jam!! Keep ‘em coming! The only downside is that we want MORE episodes per mystery so we can spend more time hunting killers!!

These boxes feed into my obsession with true crime and horror!!! I can do these either by myself or with my roommates for a family night. The clues are so detailed, both with physical and digital evidence. You cannot go wrong with picking any of these cases! :)
