It’s a very fun experience. It’s a good date night and it’s very engaging. I suggest getting a box that comes all at once to start. It kind of sucks having to wait a week or more if you’re really into the game.

I enjoyed it so much I requested each of the monthly boxes early as possible.

I absolutely love Hunt a Killer! It is so engaging that you’ll forget that you have a phone. If you love solving puzzles, this is for you!

My husband and I really enjoyed our first experience and were very impressed with the quality of the story and the pieces of evidence and the details. My husband was great with deciphering the codes and I kept track of the clues. A great way to spend time with each other. It seems expensive but each episode cost about the same as a night at the movies with popcorn.

Hunt a killer was a lot of fun. I enjoyed seeing what all was in each package. I found most of the puzzles to be easy. I would like to be a bit more challenged which is why I gave 4 stars but overall this is a very fun game.

I received a Hunt-A-Killer mystery subscription as a gift for my birthday and I was hooked from the first box! My husband and I loved completing these together and had a lot of fun seeing what kinds of skills we brought to the investigation: he's really into the code-cracking and I'm really into piecing the documents together. With each box you solve a mini-puzzle that leads you to figure out the big whodunit mystery which makes for a lot of fun along the way.

This was so much fun. I'm a true-crime fan and to go through the steps to figure out the murderer was great!

Overall the thought process that went into the game is very good. The layout done very well. Nice challenge to the cases. My issue is when I try to get the emails in between the cases they are spotty at best. I only seem to get half of them. When I get the next box I always seem to miss something. Yes, I did sign up for the emails. Hate the subscription piece. I'm paying for 6 month subscription but it was not clear that if I finish the 6 boxes early I would have to pay another $165 for another renew. Might want to say this subscription is for 1 box a month. Got another box set at Target murder at the motel. Got stuck on something signed up for the hints and never got them. Again overall the game itself is awesome. Just feeling like some email and pricing as clear as mud.

This company is totally a rip off. I sent a gift of Hunt a Killer to my adult son for his birthday one year ago. Suddenly I get a charge on my credit card for another $324.00 for another gift which I did NOT authorize. I gave a gift a year ago and now am suddenly obligated for another $324!! This must be illegal. It certainly is not a moral or ethical way for a company to behave. I will never recommend this company and would like to warn other potential customers to be aware of their practices.

We loved Mallory Rock. It was such a fun date night. We looked forward to receiving our next episode each time!

Absolutely love Hunt a killer! I did one season with my best friend and we had so much fun! 2nd season I did with my husband and it was the perfect way to spend date night after the kids went to bed.

Really wish I didn’t have to write this warning.
Product is missing parts and some are broken. Replacement parts are on a slow turnaround shipment, really accentuating how little they care to fix this mistake. What a way to ruin the immersion. For this premium cost I would expect there would be some attention to detail.
Customer service is non-responsive. I got a response that didn’t read my messages. No hours of operation online leaving me waiting forever. 20 minutes for my first response and am now ghosted.
I would have really liked a complete product.

Mallory Rock was fun and challenging. First thought is the game is a little pricy; however, all of the components of this mystery game is very well put together and the time and effort is very noticeable and well worth the price. I can't wait to receive my next box set!

Fantastic service, loads of fun and hours on intrigue!

The mystery boxes are great, just hard enough to be fun but not too hard. I love how over and beyond they go with the props they give you, the realistic documents you get, the imaginative interactions, online links and videos, and much more! It really is very cool! The company has great response times as well if you have a problem or need help and are very easy to contact. They are very friendly and helpful. I am very impressed with my time with Hunt a Killer so far!

Hunt A Killer is an excellent subscription service for the crime solving fan. The realistic pieces of 'evidence,' including online links and great storytelling exceeds expectation. I've had questions that are promptly answered by a real, live person. The only drawback is that they use DHL for shipping at times and my box doesn't arrive on time. We did 3 mysteries and they were fantastic!

This was a perfect Xmas gift from my daughters. It allowed me to involve my friend who had just lost her husband to ALS at the age of 55. The mystery was thought provoking and we spent many hours enjoying the hunt. Ordered a boxed set for my friend as a Xmas gift and then a different boxed set for me so we will have many more hours of fun.

Such a fun way to engage actively in something for those that want to "do something" and feel accomplished, but don't necessarily want to get out of the house. Just the right level of challenging to keep you interested, and feel satisfied when you solve something! Found ourselves really getting into the story and the various characters, thanks to the vivid details picked up along the way through various pieces of evidence and trinkets!

Actually the real deal - thought we were going to be able to solve these in about a half hour but they prove challenging every time - so much fun

I received the Mallory Rock season as a gift, and I really enjoyed it. I tried to play with my partner but he refused to download the app to look at the digital evidence, so I continued as a solo endeavor — which I preferred. The cyphers are really fun. I love how you can expedite your next installment if you finish a box early in the month.

I plan on playing more seasons in the future, so it would be really cool if HAK had an option to return/recycle some of the physical clues after solving to restock their inventory and avoid becoming clutter in your house. (If they did offer that, I’d probably still want to keep some of the cooler evidence items.)
