Amir acted for me on the purchase of my first home and was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. As a first-time buyer I had a lot of questions throughout the process and he was always incredibly patient, approachable and happy to explain things to me properly rather than making me feel as though I should already understand everything.

What stood out most was his communication. I always felt able to contact him when I was worried or unsure about something and he was consistently responsive and kept me informed about what was happening. Buying on my own made the whole process feel quite daunting at times, so having a solicitor I genuinely trusted made an enormous difference.

The final stages of my purchase became particularly stressful when an additional issue needed to be raised to my mortgage lender shortly before we were due to complete. Amir dealt with this, kept me updated and did everything he could to keep things moving. Once the lender was satisfied, he worked quickly to get everything in place ready for completion.

Throughout the whole transaction I always felt that Amir was genuinely on my side and wanted to get the purchase over the line for me. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, even when I was probably asking my 400th question!

Getting the keys to my first home was a massive milestone for me, and I am incredibly grateful that Amir was the person who guided me through the legal side of getting there. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a conveyancer, particularly first-time buyers who want someone knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely approachable.

Avoid avoid avoid at all costs for conveyancing- they are acting for the buyers in my property sale and they keep raising duplicate enquiries- for example they'll request details of the service charge, we'll say there isn't one, then 1 month later they'll ask again, twice- same with buildings insurance- has it been renewed, we said yes 3 months ago, then last week they asked again, we said there is no management company, then they'll ask for details of the management company... and on and on and on for 3 months and counting. They're driving us, the estate agent and our solicitors to despair- can they not read??? They have a paralegal who graduated very recently working on the case. They seem cheap, but you get what you pay for...

Matthrew Scully is my solicitor who patiently dealing with my long stressfully house sale process. I dont know how he handle that. It is so reliable he is there and always give me right answers and solutions. I will use him again when i buy. Phone calls always answer and return. Highly recommend Hutchin Law. I was unsure with this firm as this was out of my comfort zone.. however this was the best choice for me and would definitely use again.. having needed to apply for a mortgage protection clause this took more time then expected.. however jasmine with my endless emails everyday (as Iam a over thinker)… replied to each one with professionalism, explaining in detail what was happening and kept me updated on everything.. no hidden prices again this made clear to me.. would definitely recommend.. thank you jasmine

Communication was slow to start, but the overall service, dedication and communication was very good.

Matthew Scully from Hutchins Law is very polite on email and on the phone and does everything by the book when I was selling my property. He is calm and collected and always professional. My Estate Agent said Matthew was polite even when the Buyer's solicitor was being arrogant, rude, and abrupt in her communication to Matthew.

I think this goes for all conveyancing : The process for a leasehold and a freehold sale could have been outlined in a bit more detail of the different tasks or activity needed to be done as a project manager I am used to having all tasks identified and tracked against the list.

Got there in the end and Matthew did follow up on the Redemption by phone to then have the address corrected.

The only recommendation to Matthew would be 'don't trust solicitors behave with your standard of professionalism' get everything in writing before accepting money transferred from another law firm to cover costs of leasehold lawyers. The buyer's solicitor was deceitful and transferred only 26% of cost for the leasehold lawyers costs was suggested to split 50:50.

For Hutchins Law Firm, I understand that files need signing off, but it was only the day before Exchange and Completion were the files finally approved internally and was very stressful with the files in a queue and no visibility when they would get completed.

I would use Hutchins Law for selling a property again with the understanding that these things take a little longer.
