I like HyVee, but the app is terrible. You can’t cancel or change an order. You can add items on the website, but you can’t remove items. They use instacart, but give no way add a tip except beforehand. I never tip personal shoppers until after, because only some of them do a good job.

I purchased the Hyvee cola that was on sale with coupon this week. I was very disappointed with the product it was like each can had no carbonation and seemed flat even after refrigerated it. So 😞

Everytime I turn an order for a product with an expiration date, the product usually expires within 2-3 days. Even though I put in the notes to make expiration dates as far out as possible. I'm about ready to take my $400 plus a month to Price Chopper if it happens again! The date is an estimate.

Awful... no wonder HyVee is failing ordered some groceries online for delivery. Apparently, at the time I ordered, they had no potatoes, no mushrooms, not beef broth, every kind of Bleu cheese was missing. no ground black pepper and I needed to pay extra for bananas and grapes.

Well, just bought some $1.99 a pound chicken wings. Package states 5.01 pounds. Awesome. Get home and I start weighting and packaging the wings into one pound bags. I only have 4.25 pounds of chicken. When I weighted the yellow tray and that soggy cloth that captures moisture under the meat I get, you guessed it, 5.01 pounds. That seems a bit dishonest .

Customer service was so horrible, I'll never go back. Very rude and was almost yelled at. There are enough grocery stores out there that I don't need hyvee and it's obvious they don't need me. Or anyone I tell of my experience.

The girl in pharmacy is rude and smart Alec. She said they do 340 b but the dr that wrote the script was not 340 b dr..turns out they d o nt do anyone but mosaic but never said that just mentioned the dr that is with northwest. If she ha said they don't do northwest I cud have had script moved. So I had no choice but to give theb364 dollars and after talking with dr and was told she is 340 b...then the girl said she to l d us no to northwest which was a lie. She never mentioned it till today. She got mad and hung up. Was suppose to have mngr call me ..never even told him.i had to call there.

The young woman in the service area reeks like she hasn't bathed over a week an her hair is greasy..she can be smelled from several feet away. I complained 3 times. the 1st guy said he's had others compliants and would tell someone, the next time I told another the manager of the service area when I seen her and she told me she'd pass it along and then she told me the next time I complained she'd bring it up to another manager to ask if they'd talk to her. Then I come in today and she reeks. My experience is from 30 years in restaurants is if the front of house workers are unhygienic then the back of house noone can see is worst. The store has questionable practices in other areas I seen in the store but this is the one I realized they don't care about their store if there fine with a worker who is that dirty in the front of the store. I won't be back if they are fine with that level of hygiene.

The worst steaks I ever had very tough

This store located on Waterfront Drive in Iowa City has some of the nicest employees I’ve met in a while. The lady at the check out was professional, and she also laughed at a joke I made. So, personable and smart too. The guy at the parking lot a sweet man with a positive attitude. A year ago I had a problem at this store and it made me so mad I wrote to the company office on the website. My problem was taken seriously and resolved in 48 hours. So, I certainly recommend them for shopping. Plus, they have a beautiful produce section and a nice little restaurant. Good business.

on every thursday Fairield hyvee has steak night now 12.00 but flyers on napkin holders says price 10.00 tonight steak garlic mashed potato and corn. but they are going with baked potato and nasty green beans

This concerns their pharmacy. They have repeatedly tried to fill a script that I no longer needed. I told them that, repeatedly, and to take it off their auto-refill list.
But apparently not.
I picked up another script and found -- when I got home -- that they again included this unwanted script (for 10 syringes and needles) in the stapled bag (it was through their drive-through, so I couldn't watch them fill the bag). I tried to return this two days later, but they would not.
I had NO EXPECTATION that they would blow off my repeated requests to stop automatically filling this unwanted script. So I had NO EXPECTATION that they'd do it again. But they didn't care and it cost me $17.00. Im on disability and those amounts add up.

I can understand a policy of not taking back something for re-use. But that is beside the point. I cannot understand why they couldn't eat THEIR mistake and give me my money back. It was their fault. But no I was told it's my responsibility to check the stapled bag.

Another thing: Twice now, I have phoned them about Rx questions and left a call-back phone number and twice they never bothered to return those calls. The excuse I was told was that they were "very busy".

This is poor customer service. As a bit of goodwill, they could have refunded my money. But this is the nature of US businesses anymore -- no acts of goodwill. The customer eats the cost of their mistakes. How often does this happen to others? Tired of mindless, uncaring, answers.

Hy-Vee is the most rude company ever! It uses Cloudflare's awful system that blocks potential customers from accessing Hy-Vee's website fully. People have been rightfully complaining about Cloudflare but these rude companies ignore their complaints. Which is causing people to seek other companies that don't use Cloudflare. On top of that, Hy-Vee higher-ups don't care about the well-being of employees and customers in this economic hellscape. Especially by price gouging products. I recommend people to shop elsewhere.

The jobs are a joke. I applied online. I was rejected but I needed to edit a few things and it wouldn't let me. I just wanted a side sht job and I figured hy vee was a good choice. So don't apply, you're wasting your time.

This service in addition to being very expensive is awful. If they say it will be delivered between 10 and 11, count on 12. Prices are high. Hy-Vee plus is a waste of money.

Don't buy special sea food off. I bought a special management off of king crab legs. It was horrible. Worst fishy taste I had from king crab. Never again!!!!! Same day buy smh!!🤮

Hydvee E 14th all managers are shit.💩 lots of people trying to pay and then what? Only 2 cashier open, they want to save money on employees, by your products still very expensive, poor service, poor prices.
