Their prices are WAY too high. Witnessed multiple people shoplifting and nobody seemed to care. Zero security in a questionable neighborhood. Rude employees.

I can only speak for the #4 store on Fleur and for the Insta-cart employees working from that store. My personal shoppers and deliveries have been great and if there are errors Hy-Vee always makes them right. I've used AisleOnline for over 3 years and I'm very happy with this convenience. Thanks and keep it up.

Hy-Vee does not care about their customers or their employees. They will pull whatever tricks they can to force their customers to pay more than they should, and they throw the employees under the bus for mistakes made by upper management and corporate.

Discounts on certain items? There's fine print on how to get it, it's at a different store, it's the same price as there was before, or they don't tell the employee so they have no clue your $10 item is supposed to be $5.

Want to buy your favorite product but you don't see it? Ask management and they'll insist they have the item, but then when they show you where it is, they're just as stumped to not find it.

Need help with something? Well the employee who is supposed to be available is also assigned to the 5 adjacent departments because Hy-Vee refuses to staff.

Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. You'll get better treatment, better deals, and better quality at other stores.

I worked at Hy-Vee, I can tell you, if you seen how they handle food when catering, you would definitely not order catering. Horrible place to work. I seen front end managers that couldn't even afford to own a car due to them paying poorly. It's definitely corporate American and all they care about is profit! They could care less about the employee!

I made a complaint about Hy-Vee over charging me and was told by corporate the local Hy-Vee would contact me two times but the never did

Ordered flowers for a specific time slot for a reason. They missed the window and didn't seem to understand why that mattered. Never again

We were Hy Vee in Onalaska Wi. Reid in the Liquor Department was very rude to us. We will not shop there again. Terrible customer service. We were there Friday October 11, 2024. At 3:30 pm.

There’s a pharmacist who said my insurance was nothing, insulting our national healthcare. Another time he made me pay for shots covered by my insurance. He behaved like he couldn’t be bothered with customers, too good to help with insurance he didn’t like. I contacted corporate at HyVee and they responded promptly. If this happens to you, report to the state pharmacy board or HyVee corporate. They must be hard up for pharmacists? Corporate was fair enough to return my money. I’ll take my RX somewhere else. But, HyVee does contribute to our community in several ways. I’ll still buy groceries there.

Worst deli ever. You can tell by looking through the glass how dirty the warm cooler case is. They do not clean it. And everything in it is old and hard to the taste. Their rotisserie chicken smell horrible and sooo nasty beside it is soak in smelly water! Do you know why???? From freezer into the machine directly. They must thaw it in coolers prior to cook. It smells terrible. They are careless. I am sorry to say that but, customers should know that.

I don't know what advertising agency you are having help you, but after to seeing your ridiculous ads 20,000 times a day people really have no interest in shopping at your stores because they know what you advertise are fake deals. The American buyers are a lot smater than HyVee clearly shows they are. You are the most disgusting supermarket Peoria has ever had.

I had a coupon for rotisserie chicken they had one left it was white it looked raw I asked if they had any more in the back and the worker said yes and came out with another raw looking bird I said I want a darker one he came back out with a bird it was raw and white he told me they can't make them dark I took it home and baked it the bird was so tuff and it had feathers all over the wings I threw it out no supper for us

I go to the Hyvee gas station in Osage Beach daily. There is not one day when the lady manager is nothing short of rude. This morning was the last. If you don’t want to be in customer service get out of it. I said Good Morning as once again I was not greeted by her. She rolled her eyes when I asked if I could put my phone number in. When I was leaving I said have a nice day. She very sarcastically said you too. I’m done. Casey’s here I come for my daily needs in the morning hyvee do better, nothing is cheap there it’s always been the experience in different states.

Best grocery store I’ve ever seen

Order catering service for a baby shower two days before the event. Went to pick it up and gave a pick up time of 8 to 11 and when we got there the only thing ready was the fruit platter. Really bad service. When I called to complain, manager of the department had an attitude, as if there was no problem. Hy-Vee Eagan MN

I was at the hyvee in savage, mn and at the bakery dept, the donut case, the maintenance person was in the display cases cleaning with a vacuum cleaner, WHILE THERE WERE DONUTS IN THE CASE
I will NEVER by any bakery items from them again
I did try to talk to the bakery mgr, bust she was nit there, left msg with the bakery worker, and then I did also tell the young man that was the store manager at the time

Wanted hot chocolate and they (incompetent employees) kept putting the wrong powder in the dispenser. This has happened more than once and is unacceptable. Matt and Donna were the only 2 who responded and actually fixed the problem. The manager refilled it once. I really appreciate Donna, Jodi, and Matt because they care. But more than once I've walked out because the hot chocolate was not working.

it used to be that if a product rang up improperly the store would give it to you free.
Today went in to buy a 15 items. 3 of which rang up incorrectly. 20 percent error rate.

1st time there 2 months ago was charged for 2 -12 packs of beer when only bought 1. Front service desk manager (lady) was curt to me when I pointed it out after I realized it 2 blocks driving away and had to return to get a refund.

2nd time purchased the wrong brand12pk of beer and didn'd notice it til hour later returned to store was told by front service desk lady to walk to back of store where liquor is sold, exchange product for what you want and bring to front service desk for reconciliation of price exchange. Did that walked back of store and was told to cart correct beer and bring back to front of store to reconcile price difference, if any.
Pushed shop cart back to front of store and went to service desk 2nd time to make reconciliation and was told by different service manager this time that Hyvee does not accept returned liquor product, regardless if box has not been opened. Radical but true. Went to checkout and pay for correct beer purchase and get ready here it comes.... I am now told "we have store policy that we need your drivers license to scan into our system" I offered a review as I am a few weeks from turning 74 and was told.."sorry... but this is our policy." Any other store in Green Bay that sells beer in store does not require scanning of personal driver license. My drivers license scan is now archived into Hyvee computer system. A simple review of info would suffice to assure age but retaining into your computer system? Because you sold to underage in the past and this is to cya? What am I missing here with all the criminals out looking to purge personal information from business computers? Shame on your policy!....and...today will be that last time I and family will ever shop at this store, even though it was becoming my favorite I can not nor will not shop there when this policy is in effect. ps your front staff was curt and nonchalant when she advised me after my trek to find out I could not exchange the unopened product.

Muffins and donuts are bland..I bought some Muffins and some donut holes, both beyond blah np taste what so ever and highly over priced to top it all off, the lemon donut holes tasted like glazed and the Muffins had zero flavor...I can get better ones at price cutter or walmart, now that's the sad part
