Was very interested in having work done but not for $100 estimate fee even though it goes toward the job.
Getting multiple quotes and it could get expensive if I have to pay $100 each time.
So far, other companies have given free estimates.

We understand if our pricing doesn't align with your budget and that is because our services are not for everyone. Our focus is on providing premium services to Top-Notch clients who value top-quality results without overextending their budgets, thanks to our cost-effective hydroseeding custom blend. Our $100 estimate fee is a standard practice that is deducted from the total cost of the job if you choose to proceed with us. This fee covers the time and effort involved in providing a detailed and accurate estimate tailored to your specific needs.
While we understand that getting multiple quotes can add up, we believe our thorough and professional approach justifies this fee. It ensures that you receive a comprehensive estimate that reflects the true cost of the work, without any hidden surprises.
You had the option to seek services elsewhere without leaving negative feedback on our review page, especially since the service may not have been what you originally intended to receive.
Additionally, we find it perplexing that someone ( Richard S Ueltschi rsulchi@aol.com) can call a company and ask for a quote without a clear understanding of his/her needs, expecting detailed answers and a free on-site visit.
Before you continue your search, and waste people's time and money by having them drive to your house allow us to provide some insights. Running a small business like ours involves numerous costs, including workers' compensation, commercial car insurance, liability insurance, office overhead, employee salaries, equipment maintenance, fuel (diesel is $3.90-$4.09/gallon), our valuable time, and the expertise we've accumulated over 40 years combined.
We hope this helps you be mindful of the challenges and costs of a business like ours before you have another company drive to your house for a free estimate."
Thanks!
A silent partner who decided not to be silent today.
Anderson and his crew with Orion…
Anderson and his crew with Orion hydroseed did a fantastic job on my lawn in Oct 2023. It has thickened up well, really green, and truly compliments the whole yard. They were informative, professional and hard working. Thanks and I would not hestitate to use them again!

Thank you Sir
Poor erosion control. Poor service follow up.
I would not recommend hydro seed unless you have a very flat area to seed. My yard has a slight slope and the green substance with seed easily washed away with the first small rain. I called asking about their warranty and was told they would come out and look but no follow up. This service provides very poor erosion control. Poor service and no guarantee.

We regret that you experienced erosion control issues following the completion of hydroseeding. In the past, we've successfully handled projects on slopes exceeding 100 acres without complications due to thorough preparation. We expressed our concerns to you about ensuring proper completion before an anticipated rain event, particularly as half of the 4,000 sq/ft (combined between your property and your neighbor's) was inadequately prepared. Despite the suboptimal conditions, you granted permission to proceed, citing time constraints as you needed to leave town the following day.
Even though some areas, including parts of your yard and the entire 2,000 sqft from your neighbor, had compacted soil, we moved forward with the hydroseeding. The initial results, as depicted in the photos you shared, were remarkable, showing germination within a few weeks. It's important to note that we don't guarantee hydroseeding results due to various environmental factors, as outlined in the contract you signed after a thorough review.
Additionally, we would like to address the timing of your complaint, which came just before the holidays. We had been on break for the past two weeks, and your follow-up was already scheduled. Unfortunately, a negative review was posted hastily without allowing us the opportunity to address any concerns. If you'd like us to reassess the situation, please don't hesitate to contact us using the information provided.
Good coverage of the area
Good coverage of the area. Big rain next day made some gaps but they should fill in eventually.

Highly recommend! Just had my 8000 sqft bank sprayed and the results were amazing! Soil was nasty rock and clay and it's now covered in grass. Extremely professional and easy to deal with. Still shocked at how quick the grass has come in.
