I've bought a HyperX cloud II wireless…
I've bought a HyperX cloud II wireless directly from HyperX's website. I'm mostly satisfied with the headset, battery life, sound and connectivity are all decent for it's price.
The one downside is that the headset's cushion start to flake after what I consider to be a shorter than desired time. I've owned these for about 3 years and the flaking issue started around 2 years. I use them irregularly, sometimes a few hours a day a week, sometimes weeks that I don't use them. I handle my things with care, the headset is not lying around in direct sunlight or humidity or what not.
I naively believed that HyperX would sell replacement cushions, but I couldn't find them anywhere on the website, so I reached out to support using their chat.
The chat agent told me that they didn't sell replacement cushions, but that possibly they could send me a pair as a sign of goodwill, and asked me for a serial nr to confirm the model of headset I own, a number which I then provided.
But then the agent complained that while it matched the required format, the number did not match their system.
The agent asked me to make a picture (probably assuming I misread or made a mistake). I made the picture, and uploaded it to imgur (a commonly used image sharing website).
The agent then complained that they could not accept untrusted links, and that he would only accept oneDrive/sharePoint links. Services which I do not care to use. (the chat doesn't allow you to upload a file either)
But all of this image sharing nonsense was beyond the point because I gave him the exact serial number, I was looking at it while we typed, the nr on a headset as received ordered from the original HyperX website.
Make it make sense.
I told the agent once again that the serial nr was as I typed, that there where no "other numbers" on the headset, and that when I opened NGENUITY, (their own software) that it also confirmed that the model I own is a cloud II wireless.
After which the agent ended the chat.
I wasn't looking for a hand-out, I actually accepted that I would have to spend money on the replacements. I would have payed for them and/or the shipping if they had given me the option to do so.
The neglible risk of them being the wrong ones I would have accepted.
It felt like they didn't actually want to actually help me at any point.
HyperX not selling replacement cushions to expand the life cycle of perfectly good headsets is also pretty wasteful and anti right-to-repair of HyperX.
I guess I will be buying 3rd party replacement cushions, and will not be buying or recommending HyperX again.

Also had a HyperX Alloy Origins Core as a backup keyboard that gave me electric shocks constantly and eventually gave out and I have no warranty left cause it was a backup.

hyperx pulsefire dart mouse, biggest piece of sh I ever bought. Mouse for 80 euros, destroyed after around 2 months.

Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless Dongle issue
I had an issue with the Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless USB Dongle, cause after almost two years of everyday pulling it from the designed dongle compartment it started to bend. The plastic hooks holding metal part of the plug broke, and I was one step from killing the part. HyperX support team (reached by Messenger) was very helpful and after a short verification they sent me a new dongle with pairing instructions.
The mouse itself is genius and I prefer it over many other, often more expensive models. The Support Team although is even better.

I ordered computer devices as a gift for my son, but the delivery took a very long time and I didn't have time to make my son a birthday present, so I bought it for him in a physical store.
After that, I decided to return the packages back to the store, returned them
January 29th, and more than 30 days have passed since the delivery of my return, but I have not received the funds...!
I contacted the store and they said that they did not receive my packages, although according to the tracking it says that everything has been delivered to their warehouse...
I provided the return receipts, but it was all in vain
Now I have contacted the police with my lawyer and we will prepare an application to the consumer protection authorities, invouching the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

This company is complete trash and completely rude. The management of this administration is the worst that I've seen here in local Americas. They provide broken items with either shorts in the main cables of headsets, broken mouse click buttons on $40 mice. And make unreasonable the demands against the handicapped and disabled community without any form of leniency, so that they can sell those refurbished devices from original breakage. Fix them and sell them back to the next suspecting horrible person. After reaching out to their customer service twice, they are demanding the return of the product but not willing to provide anything, but a label that is unable to be printed due to my limitations of my disabilities and no outside family support system. Du.\n E to those experiences it, ties, their hands along with other customers and mine that have these same restrictions who don't have outside tools and assistance to do what they want. And they use that against their customers and refuse to make this right. I have lost hundreds of dollars in hyperx equipment and they have lost the customer for life.
Don't believe their feedback do not believe that quality of product. Because it's only gonna fail with cosmetic flaws or internal problems or cosmetic failure completely.Don't trust this company if you want to save your money every time a limitation is explained to them, they hold a firm behind their policy and rip up dozens of disabled community members, because they don't understand that without the chain of command or access to the proper chain of command it gives them the right to hide behind their policy and rip-off thousands of people. Buyer beware.!!!
HyperX support went above and beyond — truly impressed
We had been using HyperX Cloud II headsets for about five years — they served us well all that time. Recently the microphone stopped working, and we decided it was finally time to upgrade to the wireless Cloud III.
For New Year, my wife ordered a headset for our son. Unfortunately, when I picked it up, it turned out to be Cloud II Wireless instead of Cloud III. To make things worse, the unit had clearly been sitting in stock for years: the box was faded and the ear pads were already starting to peel. We were pretty disappointed — but honestly, that part was our own mistake when ordering.
Then something unexpected happened: the headset itself failed and the sound stopped working. I reached out to HyperX support on Facebook, explained the situation, and they quickly offered a replacement.
I asked if a refund might be possible instead, since we actually wanted to buy Cloud III. And this is where HyperX absolutely exceeded expectations.
Without any pushback, support offered an exceptional one-time solution: they upgraded us from Cloud II Wireless to Cloud III Wireless at no extra cost.
Three days later a courier arrived, took the old headset, and handed over brand-new Cloud III Wireless on the spot.
And wow — they work perfectly. Our son is happy, and honestly, so am I.
Huge respect to the HyperX support team for being human, flexible, and customer-focused. They didn’t have to do this, but they chose to — and it made our whole family happier.
Highly recommended.
« Commande non reçue, SAV inexistant : une expérience à éviter absolument »
En janvier 2026, j’ai commandé un casque audio sur le site HyperX. Malgré une validation de commande avec N° de commande validé, et un paiement effectué et débité de mon compte bancaire, aucun email de confirmation ne m’a été envoyé. Impossible ensuite de me connecter à mon compte client pour vérifier le statu de la commande : mon identifiant et mot de passe étaient rejetés. Je tente la procédure de réinitialisation du mot de passe, mais là encore, problème, car si un message confirme bien que le mail contenant le lien de réinitialisation à bien été envoyé, celui-ci n'arrive jamais, malgré plusieurs tentatives. J'ai bien évidemment vérifié SPAM et autres. Absolument rien nulle part.
Après trois semaines d’attente, toujours aucun colis. J’ai décide donc de contacter le SAV par téléphone et c'est là que le cauchemar a vraiment commencé :
Aucun numéro de téléphone pour contacter HyperX. Racheté par HP, il faut appeler un 08 payant :! Après le bla-bla habituel au bout de quelques minutes, rien d'autre à faire que de continuer à écouter le message en boucle ou bien raccrocher, car personne de disponible. Je fini par trouver le N° d'un standard à Meudon, qui me redirige vers un numéro en 09, où on est sensé me répondre. Erreur !! un robot vocal qui au bout d'un moment vous dit que pour avoir une assistance, il faut passer par WhatsApp, et qu'un SMS vient de m'être envoyé pour accéder au file de discussion HP sur WhatsApp. Je m'y rends donc, et là, la galère continue. On me demande d'abord mon prénom, puis mon nom de famille ... RGPD tu connais ?et mon numéro de série du produit pour lequel j'ai besoin d'assistance. !!!!!!!!!!!! Comme je n'ai pas le produit, je n'ai bien sur pas le numéro .... etc .. .etc ... On prend vraiment les clients pour de la M..... chez HP !!
Bilan :
1 heure perdue à essayer de résoudre de trouver une oreille pour résoudre mon problème ..., sans succès.
Aucun moyen de joindre un service client réel.
Commande perdue, remboursement à demander à la banque.
Mon avis :
HyperX/HP a totalement abandonné ses clients. Entre un site défaillant, un SAV fantôme et une impossibilité de résoudre le moindre problème, cette expérience m’a convaincu de ne plus jamais commander chez eux. Je déconseille vivement cette marque à quiconque recherche un minimum de sérieux et de professionnalisme.
Conseil : Si vous tenez à votre argent et à votre temps, fuyez HyperX.

Avoid at all costs, even returns are a headache and hassle.
Avoid at all costs folks! Purchased a laptop from HyperX which was missing for some time which of course HyperX claimed no responsibility, assisted nor insured the expensive package.
I was able to later find the package but returned unit as it was located past the holiday seasons. The company is now claiming the sealed unit that I received and returned to them is now a mismatch with the "serial number" they had sent.
So now they have the laptop I had returned and now claiming it doesn't match despite it being the unit I received and them failing to process the order properly when it reached to them.
HyperX is clearly incompetent and I would advise any customers to steer clear from the company. I already have confirmation they received the unit I had ordered and will now be filing a chargeback to get my refund and interest that accrued returned as well as being charged a fee due to the chargeback.

As a long-time customer of the brand, I was extremely frustrated today when I needed customer service, which was robotic, mechanical, and lacked any empathy for the customer. I've given up on support and also on the brand; this will certainly be my last HyperX.

The ngenuity software is not detecting my device (Hyperx Cloud 3s), tried both the beta and the normal for months. Horrible support for this, and very bad amount of info.

Ich habe den Support (über Facebook, da man ja keine Support Email bekommt und man über Twitter erst von HyperX ein Follow bekommen muss um Kontakt aufzunehmen, like wtf? Bekommt mal euren Support hin!)
Nun ja, dann über Facebook angeschrieben weil bei meinem QuadCast S der Adapter für den Mikrofonarm fehlt. 2 Wochen nichts gehört von denen, dann nur "Adresse und wo haben sie es her" als Antwort bekommen, beides hingeschrieben und dann wieder eine Woche später als Nachricht bekommen "Wie können wir ihnen helfen" wie kann man so hart unfähig sein im Support und es nicht mal schaffen die Nachricht darüber durchzulesen im Facebook Chat!
Ansonsten hier noch eine kleine Erfahrung zu dem Produkt selbst:
- sieht schön aus
- klingt gut (zumindest in OBS)
- klingt mehr als schlecht in Discord (bitte fixt es endlich, man klingt so super schlecht in Discord egal was man einstellt, rechtfertigt den Preis des Mikrofons einfach überhaupt nicht)

The helpdesk and technical support is only available on the USA scam social networks, like FB, Instagram and X, no normal support request form page anymore. HyperX and its products sucks big time!
Breakable Dongle Makes Headset Unusable
I have a pair of the wireless HyperX Cloud Alpha headset. While working on my computer, I accidently broke the dongle to my headset. I figured it would be a simple fix with a replacement dongle and had no problem paying for it. Their Christmas break was at the time so I waited a couple weeks to talk to a customer service (their AI rep was terrible and didn't understand what I was asking for). When I finally talked to a representative, I was told that they don't sell replacement dongles and I wouldn't be able to have one shipped to me without proof of purchase from over a year ago at Walmart. Having something as easy to break as a dongle be your only way to connect to a computer and then not selling replacements is asinine. I will be recommending people to buy from ANY OTHER company from now on. I should have known seeing that this company is a part of HP.

J’ai passé une commande pendant la période du Black Friday, alors que le produit était affiché comme disponible et avec une promotion de 20 %. Quelques jours plus tard, j’ai reçu un courriel m’informant que le produit était finalement en rupture de stock et que ma commande était annulée.
On m’a proposé un code promotionnel de 15 %, ce qui ne respecte absolument pas les conditions avantageuses du Black Friday sous lesquelles j’avais commandé.
Autre point très problématique :
Le courriel envoyé par HyperX est impossible à joindre. Lorsque l’on répond ou que l’on utilise l’adresse fournie, un message d’erreur indique que l’adresse est introuvable.
J’ai également tenté de les contacter via Instagram, sans jamais obtenir de réponse.
De plus, il m’a été promis un remboursement sous 3 à 10 jours ouvrables, mais plus de deux semaines plus tard, je n’ai toujours rien reçu.
Face à ce manque de transparence, de communication et au non-respect des engagements, je vais déposer une plainte auprès de l’Office de la protection du consommateur.
Je suis très déçu de cette expérience et je ne recommande pas cette entreprise.

Ich habe die HyperX Alloy Origins und finde es Schade, dass die Tastatur mit ABS-Keycaps ausgestattet ist. Diese sind schon nach wenigen Tagen komplett fettig und sind billig verarbeitet. Das Body der Tastatur ist aber dafür beeindruckend stabil und komplett aus Flugzeugaluminium. Die Switches sind gut, trotzdem hätte ich mir wie bei den Vorgängern die Silver Switches gewünscht. Hätte man also bloß hochwertigere Switches verbaut und vielleicht auch die schnelleren Switches wäre das für mich wenn nicht sogar die perfekte Tastatur.
