This course has really opened my eyes…
This course has really opened my eyes and taught me a lot and i know for sure i wont re offend. They are very supportive and made what i thought was going to be useless, very informative and life changing. Not only that but you get a 25% knock off you ban so it's a no brainer really. i would highly recommend doing this course.

Fantastic course

I found the whole experience stressful
I found the whole experience stressful. Whilst my instructor clearly had an interest in me passing, his fixation with me achieving a 'first' made me think this was maybe for his own kudos. Nevertheless, he turned out in all weathers to help school me. However, I did find the whole culture of iAM to be overwhelmingly negative - way too much 'stick' and nowhere near enough 'carrot'. On a scoring system of three grades for each element (1, 2, 3 - with 3 meaning 'needs development'), when my instructor put me in for the test, I was almost all 1's. When I failed the test for. apparently, treating a stop sign as a give way, he marked a significant number of elements as '3'. He also threw in a fail reason as exceeding the speed limit in a 30 zone, which he didn't mention in the debrief. The next day iAM sent me an email telling me they were sorry I narrowly missed the standard, and urging me to apply for another test (c. £200). I completed the survey they invited me to consider, pointing out that their website did not make it clear how to apply for another test, leaving me to conclude you would have to buy a whole new course. They never contacted me again. That said, I believe the course is good value for money, and I did learn a lot but, as others have reported, they make you feel worthless.
UPDATE (15th Oct 2026)
Shortly after I wrote this review, I received an email from a representative of iAM asking if he could ring me to discuss. I said yes and provided my number. A few days later I had a missed call from this gentleman, who left a voicemail asking me to ring back, which I did the next day. He didn't answer and I left a voicemail telling him he could call me back at his convenience. Needless to say, I haven't heard anything since
Their preoccupation with getting your money appears to override fundamental professionalism and respect for the client. I certainly won't be using them again.

The thing that made my experience great was my instructor and the group. My eyes were opened to the effects that drinking and driving can impact on not just myself but the public as well.
