From start to finish from booking repairs , appointment administration and repair itself I couldn’t fault- Engineer was friendly txt me on the day with an ETA - arrived on time conducted repair within timescale he’d given me previously - showed me what was wrong with the part he’d replaced very polite and tidy - we have always had good experiences with all the ideal heating engineers that have serviced or repaired our boiler

Engineer came within timescale quoted and was quick, efficient and tidy.

The petson came serviced the boiler no problems found happy to say and worked, he took his time to make sure all worked before he left

Found a leak in a newly installed combi boiler. Contacted Ideal and 2 days later an engineer arrived and fixed it under the 12 year guarantee.

Texts confirming the arrival window with updates nearer the time.

Absolutely brilliant service Ian the engineer was knowledgeable courteous explained everything to me showed me things did things that other engineers hadn’t just can’t praise Ian enough.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY CONTACTS TRUSTPILOT TO HAVE YOUR REVIEW DELETED IF YOU LEAVE ANYTHING NEGATIVE - Ideal heating's customer service has been nothing short of absolutely appalling. They think it's perfectly acceptable to leave a single mother with a 6 month old baby without heating due to a manufacturing fault on my logic boiler that is 3 months old showing an error code. They refuse to send anyone out until Tuesday or Wednesday, despite being legally obliged to send someone out within 12 hours to fix the problem, as I am classed as priority with having a small baby. I have raised a complaint and spoke to the manager and he could not be less interested if he tried. I asked if he knew where I was expected to go since my property has a boiler that does not work properly, and he wasn't interested and confirmed there is no emergency procedure in place for when boilers are broken and people are just expected to go without, which I was extremely shocked at as a company who supply boilers for there to be absolutely no emergency procedure is rather bizarre. I asked if I could try and get my own plumber out who may have logic parts and revert the charges to them since it's still under warranty and they cannot provide a good enough service by sending their own emergency engineer out but have point blank refused. They are now happy to leave me and my small baby with no heating or hot water without a care in the world for 3-4 days, this will be escalated to trading standards, my local MP and the press will also be informed. Absolutely disgusting.

I have had to repost this review due to ideal contacting trustpilot to have it taken down as they know they are in the wrong. They have also “accidentally” sent internal emails to me that was meant to be between colleagues, which demonstrates their complete lack of professionalism.

Thomas was punctual and kept me informed by text of arrival time. He was pleasant, friendly, professional and efficient. Thank you very much.

Reliable and efficient…as usual

Jouch was so detailed and very neat with the job.

Sam replaced the pump in our boiler. We are both elderly and the settings had been lost while the boiler had been inoperable. He helped me restore everything.

Everything done without any issues and very helpful 👌
