Horrible Customer Service
Horrible Customer Service. I placed an ordered and paid for the 5 - 8 business day delivery fee. I emailed to find out where my product is and no response. The following day I called and asked for tracking of my item and they said there was nothing they could do once the delivery company (UPS) had the item. I said I was going out of town and needed to know. So, she hung up on me! Don't buy from this place!!! They are very unprofessional!

Call an email , chat with ask if bought the items again would the overnight ship them since was their fault. I was told no. Just an advisory to anyone buying on ILoveDooney- they do not stand behind their products. I purchased a new style of crossbody, but when I got it it was bigger than I needed. I went to initiate a return and it was not quite as simple as just getting a return label and returning. Once finally returned, they reduced my refund $30 to cover shipping. That is exorbitant and excessive. I love Dooney, but unfortunately for this buyer, I will NEVER shop with them again. Buyer beware…

I would advise everyone not to shop here. They have awful business practices. I recently placed an order online and their website glitched and missed part of my address. I emailed them immediately only to receive a reply the following morning stating that my order could not be modified because it had shipped. I called customer service and was told the same, however the order has not shipped. Only the UPS ship label has been created so they are still in possession and refuse to correct this. One of the customer service reps told me to take it up with UPS. Mind you this is a service I have to pay for in order to fix their issue on top of already paying for shipping because they don’t offer free shipping. I tried with UPS but they can’t help me because…well they don’t have the package yet. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was on hold for a good 15 minutes before I got sent to voicemail. Saying this company is awful is an understatement.

On March 11 of 2025 I went and purchased a Brenna Gretta Handbag of I love dooney.com. My order just kept saying it was processing for over a week with no update so I proceeded to contact them through via chat they told me that the item I had purchased was no longer in stock so I asked them. Why did they take the money out of my account if it wasn’t in stock because when I went to go purchase it, it was showing it was in stock. Therefore I called my bank to try and start a dispute in case they tried to not give me my money back. I talk to a woman named Kate and she told me that she would contact her team or something and get back to me within 48 hours which to me seems very unusual normally they’re just able to cancel an order when you want something canceled so I proceeded to tell her that I was contacted my bank and the fraud Department because I wanted my money back. They should not have proceeded to take any money out of my account if it wasn’t in stock then why was it showing it was in stock if it wasn’t to me the website and all seems like a Scam. After I had told the lady I was going through the fraud department she sent me an email saying I was getting a refund but it was showing it was already processed so when I called to ask about it, she said it takes up to 10 business days so now I am just waiting to see if I am getting my refund because if they try to scan my money, I am going to get it back through my bank. I do not recommend ordering through them simply because they seem very shady and I’ve also read a lot of bad reviews on them and they’ve been turned into the Better Business Bureau a dozen times probably

I never ordered an item.. I repeat I never ordered an item.. I received an email stating I ordered an item less than five minutes supposedly after ordering the item. So I called about that item.. they said item was supposedly shipped in a five minute period and I would have to return the item once I got ii..I am totally handicapped., this return involves using an uber to print out label.. using an uber to go to place to return item., sending several emails about the process I have to go through to return an item I NEVER ORDERED., it was The COMPANY’S MISTAKE..they would not pick up the item.. I spent money on two UBERS plus several emails plus several phone calls.. all for an item I NEVER ORDERED.. I am angry because of amount of extra money on my part to get item back to them ( using UBER) as well as time trying to straighten out this issue.. plus customers ought to realize that there is a $10 return fee .. so there company is covered for being inconvenienced but not the customer.. no respect for customer.. I needed to return the item in order to get it off my credit card.. but sgsin I spent extra money to return the item for THEIR mistake not mine..didn’t know a mistake was made until I read the email..then apparently it was too late., I WILL NEVER order from this company again and I hope that you will not as well..!they do not stand behind THEIR mistake.. it was not mine..

No Merchandise No Replacement No Refund
I ordered a Dennison Continental Clutch and a Florentine Mini Domed Crossbody from I Love Dooney online. Despite several emails and calling I Love Dooney at 800-827-0003, to inform them that I did not receive my merchandise. After repeatedly calling and emailing several days later, I was informed via email that it was nothing they could do and that they are not filing a claim with the delivery company (UPS). I tried explaining to them over and over again that I did not receive the merchandise that was left out in the open in front of someone else’s door according to the delivery picture. Bottom line, I filed a claim with my credit card company and is in the process of receiving a refund.
Honestly, I really wanted the clutch because it matches a handbag that I purchase the two days prior and was tempted to reorder it even though they Customer Service is the worst I’ve encountered and reading scenarios where others had numerous problems with, I Love Dooney and their bitter customer services which let them to never purchase from them again. I'm at that point right now no more I Love Dooney, because once I have one bad experience, I don't give the company a second chance to get it wrong, again.
Be very careful if and when you order from, I Love Dooney online or via the phone, because their customer service is horrendous, and they are less than a reputable site, in my opinion. Two of the best companies I choose to buy from and who stand behind their customer service and products are COACH and Michael Kors, so once I Love Dooney refused to replace or refund me for the items I never received prompts me to never do business with them again.

I just received my bag today and it is BEAUTIFUL. Order processing time was 3 days. Shipped and arrived one day later than the original UPS surepost tag. I was paranoid reading the Trustpilot reviews that some people feel the site is a scam. I don't believe so. I contacted customer service by chat to check on my order when I saw that after 24 hours they still did not have the package in possession. The chat rep assured me the order was in process and would be delivered according to their standard terms, which is 11 days. I got the bag 5 days after I ordered it. I inspected the bag carefully, all the tags were on, no flaws, wrapped well. I LOVE the purse and I will be buying more from this site.

I have a bag in repair right now no updates nothing and then when I email them to Check on the status of the process they tell me I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for a response. It's been there almost Three weeks and y'all didn't think to reach out to update me on my status. I'm thinking after this I'm not ordering from them any longer. I made the order on May 5, 2024. After 5 days the order was still "processing".
I try to access the customer service. There is no phone connection on the site. There is only email. I wrote a request to update the status of my order. I did not receive any answer. I waited 3 more days, then started to chat online. I learned from the "automated agent", that my order is"cancelled", due to "item is not available".
Today is 12 days, since the order was made.
1.On my account the order is still "processing".
2.I continue to receive "promotions" and "offers" every day.
3.There is no Customer Service. No life person to contact with
4. I am not sure, if this is not an AI scam.

The order was delivered very fast and the purse is beautiful! Came exceptionally wrapped.This is my fourth Dooney and Bourke purse. Always buy them in person at the Dooney and Bourke outlet store so this was my first purchase on line at ILove Dooney. No difference than the outlet store. Great purses and the best zippers in the business!! My new purse is the black Mini Barlow. Perfect size for vacation.

I have probably purchased 5 or 6 purses from Ilovedooney.com. Every one of them has arrived in pristine condition. In one case the backpack was smaller than I expected. IloveDooney.com had actually listed the dimensions but I had neglected to notice. I returned the bag (in unused condition). I was refunded my money. I will purchase from them again. I recommend the site to others all the time. Delivery times are not exceptionally fast but not unreasonable. We are too use to Amazon delivery almost as quickly as you order.

SCAM, SCAM I purchased 3 items on the 26th of November. I received a shipment of 2 items with a statement indicating 3 items. I immediately contacted, they asked me for pictures of the box ECT. So far, I only received an email that they will be conducting an investigation and not to discard the box. They still have my money and I am at their mercy.

How sad…pathetic actually. I bought a tote and paid over $200 for it alone…I also purchased several other bags which was well over $1,000. Let me assure you that customer service is NON EXISTENT!!! Tge bag I am referring to which was the Pebble Grain Medium Russell is junk. Not even one month…three weeks precisely and I noticed the black leather handles were fading. I go to speak to customer service who tells me they no longer replace bags…merely repair them. Who wants to pay that much money for something that is poor quality and you can’t get a replacement even though it’s defective within 3 weeks???? And the lady was extremely rude. DO NOT BUY!!!!
