My experience with Intelligent was great. They created lots of opportunities and conversations straight off the bat. The variety of enquiries allowed me to chose the right buyer and deal with confidence. Jovin was great to work with, good humoured and experienced in all the twists and turns of getting a deal over the line (which can take time) and tenacious about not letting anything slide. Recommended.

There was a lot of hard, trying work involved in this transaction. The initial valuation was very high, confirmed with the sale well under half that amount. Apart from that the service was excellent and very helpful and informative.

The time, effort and care taken to understand the business before suggesting a valuation gave me confidence I was dealing with the right people.

All potential purchasers were carefully vetted for suitability before being introduced to me.

After a buyer had been found the high level of support continued until the sale had been completed. Even though the purchaser wanted to finalise everything very very quickly it was the Intelligent team who took the lead and regularly followed up outstanding actions with the purchaser and/or his solicitors.

A great buyer experience with Intelligent for our recent acquisition of a recruitment business. Jovin is an excellent broker, knowledgeable and efficient when responding to queries and gathering information. Colette also made sure things went smoothly and quickly from Heads to Completion. The firm is clearly well run from the top by Mark.

I needed some advice from Mark about the best way to structure my business if ever I wanted a future exit. The advice that he gave me was sound and pointed out some things that I hadn't thought about before. He's clearly experienced, knows what he's talking about, and cares about his customers. Paid a deposit trusting their assurances, only to face endless delays, lack of communication, and poor management. Complaints take months to be “reviewed,” and no independent oversight is offered. Do not send them a deposit—you will lose it. Completely unprofessional—avoid at all costs.

We worked with Intelligent Business Partners when we were considering how and when we might look to exit the business. They were incredibly helpful in answering the many questions we had throughout the process and provided clear, practical guidance that helped us better understand our options. Slightly belated review. Intelligent helped with the successful sale of our ecommerce business, which we completed earlier this year.

To be honest, the process didn’t start too well. My first account manager seemed a bit inexperienced and somewhat uninterested. It felt as though we were paying for a middleman to pass on messages rather than someone actively engaged in the sale.

We initially had two offers on our business. The first fell through and regrettably, the other interested party felt very disheartened by the way she was treated during the negotiation process. This subsequently resulted in her also retracting her offer.

At this point, we were handed over to Katie Tempest to take the reins, and the difference was night and day. Katie was extremely proactive, attentive, and adaptable in all situations, successfully finding a suitable buyer within an expedited timescale. We were really impressed.

This ultimately led to a successful sale and completion in a short period of time. Thanks, Katie!
