Super colette 5 star service
The main reason for a 5 star rating was Colette .
She firstly got us a buyer within 2 weeks and secured a very good price for our business .not once did Colette ignore us or fail to follow up quickly on any queries that we had .she was on the ball to say the least,and we had many entertaining conversations about the sale ,my wife and i with Colette and will miss the laughs we had with her during the last few months.

Straightforward, clear and honest advice
I needed a valuation and some advice about whether I should sell my business or not.
Intelligent were recommended and I spoke to the MD Mark, who gave great, straightforward and candid advice. I decided not to sell for now based on Mark's realistic and honest opinion, but when I'm ready to sell, I'll definitely use them.

Two viewings within a year
I have chosen this company because of it's good reviews on this website. The prise of the business was set according to their recommendation, but within a year, they managed to send two people to view the business. Bunch of viewings were supposedly set, but no one actually showed up.
Also, although they have two senior teams within 30 minutes of central London, no one ever came to my business to view it in person or meet with me.
So my experience with them was basically waste of time.
P.S. I though I would give additional information, since this company chose so blatantly lie in their response. 1- It's funny how they call their recollection of conversations a verifiable fact and my recollection a subjective opinion. Before signing a contract with them, I tried to sell on my own...for a lower price. Unsuccessfully. I wonder, why I would then insist on a higher price? The answer is simple - I didn't. They offered a higher price, I was even hesitant and asked them, are they sure they would be able to sell. They said - don't worry, we're profesionalls. Their so called "veriable fact" is nothing but a lie. 3- they booked 7 viewings of witch two actually happened. 5 times no one showed up. 4- I fought being a professional company they should have explained interested parties how taking over the lease ususally goes. Instead they sent me people who asked what the price of new lease will be. The lease ends after 5 years. The price I'm paying now is very low, because it was set many years ago. It's an open lease, that means you can extend it, but how could I know what the new price will be? Should I negotiate new terms with a landlord myself? Yes, I did told them the rent could double, but that's normal, I'm paying under 1K now, there are no such prices in London, so I believe it's unreasonable to expect the same price another 15 years forward. Should I have lied? Or should the agency explain such details to potential buyers?

The reason we receive good reviews is because we provide a good service. Your review of Intelligent, as with your reviews of other businesses, is not accurate or fair. You also gave Daltons, one of the UKs best known and trusted business sales brands a 1-star review. 1. We recommended a LOWER price than you instructed us to sell at. This is not subjective opinion, it is a verifiable fact. Your statement is false and misleading. Your account manager, who has received dozens of 5 star reviews recommended you change your price, you refused. 2. The price is not based on Turnover, it's based on Profit, your contractual agreement is explicit and clear on this, so again false and misleading statements. 3 Our marketing generated 1222 page views, 39 Interested Parties and 7 viewings. 4. You could not confirm details of the availability of a new lease for interested parties, but despite this, you decided to tell them rents would more than likely double. If true (which you couldn't confirm) this would reduce profits meaning your price would need to be amended, which you refused to do. 5. We've got two of our senior team within 30 minutes of central London as it's one of our largest markets, so another falsehood. I appreciate you are frustrated that your business didn't sell, but if two of the most successful websites and brokers in your market were unsuccessful and you ignore professional advice there is little more we can do. It was your choice to remove your listing. We were happy to continue advertising at a price that reflected the market. Mark Fitzgerald Cooke MD Intelligent Business Partners.
