Intelligence is a really good agency…
Intelligence is a really good agency who will look after you as a buyer. We have had Jovin and Collette help dealing with our case during the whole progress. Jovin has been already there when you need something,always answers all your questions. And when she has to go for a short leave, Collette as a manager step up immediately take over and continuly help us. I'm really impressed with how professional these two ladies deal with the situation. We are more than half way through the progress and I'm very confident with their assistance, we will have a smooth completion.

I had a good feeling from the very start dealing with Mark who took me through the various steps needed to market my business. Once marketed Katie was assigned as my account manager, Katie is really helpful, always available, very good at her job and a pleasure to deal with. Having been in business for 32 years it was a big decision to sell but Katie and Mark made the whole process to be relatively straight forward.

STAY WELL CLEAR
Absolutely no idea what they are doing. They never reply to enquiries or call back. You get a 1 in 100 answer to a new opportunity. Since I complained there attitude is to not send me any information on any business at all.
I have previously acquired 2 businesses from them and they are most difficult to deal with. Use another broker there are plenty to choose from. Avoid these at all costs. Never use their recommended solicitor either, they are adept at altering the contract (heads of terms) and not telling you, with the hope it goes through. With lack of legal knowledge It was missed. So I was screwed over.

You were blocked due to complaints following your last transaction. 2. We are not difficult, we are thorough. If that means we believe a buyer is trying to take advantage of one of our clients we will challenge appropriately. 3. There are indeed other brokers and I dearly hope you choose one of them. There are also other buyers and I also dearly hope sellers choose one of them. 4. The recommended solicitors you mention are nationally respected experts in business transactions. I grant you they are picky about issues such as compliance, the law, that sort of thing, they are also bound by codes of practice meaning your claim is 'unlikely' at best. 5. You were not screwed over, you were caught out attempting to act in a manner we would prefer not to expose other business owners to. If I could pin this review I would. I take your complaint as a testimony to the thorough work Intelligent and our trusted professional partners complete on behalf of our clients. Very helpful staff and plenty of potential buyers, Sold the business eventually, but unfortunately the business valuation, in common with most other companies valuations, was rather on the high side. That said a good job overall.
