Had problems with parking went to customer service and they were very rude and not wanting to help. Very poor service I got will never go to Victoria Centre again would rather drive to Derby. I would stay away from horrible customer service who think customer is wrong.

No flavor .. Flavor is very weak ... After searching for this water for days. What a waste

where are security officers here? sitting in their offices never any around had to ring twice to report an incident then not bothered even though customers are. get your act together intu especially after trafford centre incident

Very bad service from the Intu staff at merry hill. Very rude and not helpful at all.

I was charged 3.90 for two hours (should have been 2.60) today at Intu Hanley Stoke on Trent. When I asked for a refund I was told I only had 10 mins grace to exit the car park after I had paid or I would have to pay for another hour! Unbelievable. So I would have to pay another 1.30 to have enough time for their “customer services” (joke) to sort out a refund for an overcharge that was their fault. Hmmm. Then their customer services said I could have free parking next time I shopped there, saying she would take my name and number and tell her colleagues so they would know. As if they would remember? Totally unsatisfactory response and I am still 1.30 down ☹️

Got 70 quids worth of intu braehead gift cards that don't register.... Spoke to the family members who bought them.... Provided the names and 7 months after Christmas still can't use them...... Rip off.... Thievery....

In my opinion this is legalised theft!

I found my gift card, and it says after 1 year you cannot use it and 'we steal' (my interpretation) your gift money!

My boyfriend is Asian and he's been looking for security jobs. Every time he applies at merry hill shopping centre (run by Intu and also held employment responsible), for no apparent reason, his application always gets declined. Let me stress that he's clean, has a good credit history and he's experienced as a Security Officer with a valid SIA badge and fluent english of course. 2 days ago, we just happened to walk from one end to another having a day out after a long time (last time we visited was 2015) but my bf also came in a week ago alone, and he mentioned to me last night, from our visit together and his visit a week ago, how every single staff member there, whether it's concierge, customer service, cleaning and mostly security, are all Caucasian. This is definitely no coincidence as I myself (being Caucasian), didn't notice anybody there who was Asian, black or even mixed race. It's pretty concerning, I definitely think Intu needs to be investigated with their employment strategy. I'm 110% adamant that they are not equal opportunities or just make it out if they are but are obviously not once you observe the whole place.

Went to car park today only there 30 mins charge for this £3.90 !!!!!!!!!!!!! What an absolute rip off I will never never go there again you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Bought £200 worth of Intu vouchers for family members before Christmas, whilst buying them the staff were quite chatty and we said they were for our grandchildren in Birmingham. There was no point of sale info nor did the staff mention that the vouchers are only valid for the Metro Centre and not throughout Intu. They used to be but this apparently changed in July last year. This is misleading and in my view is mis-selling. Fortunately the customer info in Intu Merry Hill were aware of this and exchanged them for valid vouchers. Their parents dragged them there to find out, otherwise kids being kids they would, most likely, have chucked them away when they were told in a shop that they weren't valid. If you intend the vouchers for use elsewhere in Intu be prepared for the problem. My advice is don't bother - I certainly won't do so again

Intu Gateshead is a great place, loads of shops and places to eat. Would definitely go back.

Do not buy an intu voucher as a gift. They expire then ‘disappear’ off their system after a period of time and cannot be reactivated. My husband is a driving instructor and as a good deed, gave free driving lessons over a period of a few months to an elderly gentleman who had suffered a heart attack and as a result had to retake his test to get his license back. He gifted my husband with a substantial intu voucher by way of a thank you. As he works during standard shopping hours 6 days a week he didn’t get to spend it in time. Now intu think it’s ok to pocket the money spent on the voucher when it wasn’t used as it is ‘out of date’. I was advised by customer services when I rang that it’s in the terms and conditions but when given as a gift this is not necessarily something you would consider. Very disappointed. Well done intu.

the student nights at intu are great. such a good idea for students, just get a wristband and then you can get discounts in pretty much any of the stores on that night, and the restaurants too.

Bravo, Intu, for withdrawing your objection to the Newlands Park development in Luton. You are clearly a company that can see the bigger picture and are to be congratulated. What a shame that Capital & Regional, who manage the Arndale Centre in Luton, lack your vision and ambition.

Intu are destroying shopping. I don't want to walk for miles to get from one shop to another, past numerous empty units, through a sea of rude people. Its not a nice shopping experience.

In the last three weeks I have visited Intu Uxbridge on a number of occasions. Twice in the last week including today. Three weeks ago two of the lifts were not working and two of the lifts weren't working on any of my subsequent visits and during peak times the wait for just two working lifts can be more than 10 minutes. Today all four of the lifts weren't working. Intu have supposedly funny posters apologising and telling customers they are working on fixing the lifts right now. I have never once seen an engineer or any sign of work. Today elderly ladies were having to walk down 7 flights of stairs, young mothers were pushing prams up 7 flights of stairs while shopping fell out of their bags and rolled down the stairs, and I myself suffer with arthritis and had to walk down and up 7 flights of stairs. Intu Uxbridge can you tell me when you might fix your lifts? It's my local shopping centre, but there's no way I can make another painful return visit with the current lift situation continuing as it would be easier to drive to Westfield. Obviously for working lifts and escalators to all car parks, but also the far superior retail experience in every sense. It's no wonder there are constantly boarded up shops in Intu Uxbridge. You'd think since Intu Uxbridge can't without much effort on the part of its patrons, get customers hassle-free to the shops from the car park they'd possibly think about suspending or temporarily reducing parking charges. However, perhaps visitors are paying for the quite ridiculous signage that is supposed to be amusing while driving up and down each car park floor. Maybe Intu should have something similar in the stair wells that one has had to clamber up and down the last three weeks while grimacing.

Since Intu has taken over the Derby shopping centre that was Westfield it has become very poor. There are too few clothes stores and it is filled with places to eat. Parking is extortionate. Not enough for a shopping centre. When you approach the customer service desk, he staff spend ages just talking among themselves before they even come up to you to ask what you want, and they are also a racist employer.

Intu don't tell customers with mobility needs that have a Blue-Badge that you can receive 4 hours of FREE parking by taking your badge to be verified. There were NO signs to inform customers that use a Blue-Badge that they had to take it to a member of staff to receive a free parking voucher. When I phoned on the Monday, after visiting intu Victoria Centre Nottingham on the Saturday, the staff said that there is a phone symbol that I should have pressed to speak to a member of staff instead of paying the fee. When I asked where the signs were to inform you of this procedure, he said there weren't any. I only found this out by speaking to a fellow shopper that used a wheelchair, who told me the procedure. The intu website only tells you to display a valid Blue-Badge in order to receive 4 hours FREE parking and NOTHING about taking your badge to a member of staff. I can only conclude that intu want to force Blue-Badge holders into paying the parking fee as they don't publicise the procedure for gaining a voucher for free parking.
p.s. the print-out of disabled parking information that I printed out on the Saturday didn’t talk about the process. It just said that I must ensure that I have a valid disabled badge on display. The website today, 4 hours after I called the Customer Services & Parking dept now says the following:
“Please take your badge to the customer service desk to validate your parking. We ask that you still show your clock if at all possible, but this is optional.”
Whilst I was asked for a contact no. and e-mail address, I am still waiting for a reply. My question as to whether signs are up to inform customers of this procedure goes unanswered.
