I was very worried about retirement. I knew that as it stood I would not have a full pension. Then four years ago Jack Garvey arrived into my life. He explained everything to me very clearly, answered all my concerns. He made a plan that was very thorough and did not leave me overburdened by pension contributions. I am now in a position where I will be retiring in two years on full pension, mortgage paid off, and a healthy lump sum. I really feel he spent time and effort on my case, it was all very tailored to me and my situation. I can't thank him enough.

I have had the pleasure to speak with Angel about all polices available to me. I say talk because it felt like she had me and my families best interests and looked for the best quotes she could. Also she was honest about any questions I had which really helped me make some decisions, where she found a weak point that she couldn't help, she put me in contact with someone who could. I have no hesitation in giving ipf a full 5 marks, honest , to the point and most of all angel listened to what I want and delivered . Nicole was very helpful and made everything very straight forward. She also reminded me to claim tax back on my income protection payments for last year, which I had forgotten to do! It was very reassuring to see how easy it is to update AVC's at any time. Nicole reiterated that it's no problem to increase, or decrease, AVC's at any time depending on personal circumstances e.g. pull them back a bit in times when there are other high monthly expenses and increase them when possible or as salary increases etc. come through. All very helpful and reassuring.

Sophie Murphy was extremely helpful when I went through the process of setting up an AVC and income protection. She made everything really straightforward and it really gave me peace of mind knowing that I was putting plans in place to prepare for the future.

I can say I had a very negative experience trying to get a mortgage with the help of IPF. They insisted PTSB was our best option even when our own research suggested otherwise. When I suggested we try applying for a green mortgage with BOI, as we qualified and this seemed the best option, these messages were ignored and they continued to push PTSB. Eventually we just applied ourselves and it was all problem free. Our time working with IPF was a complete waste of time and we were left feeling these people were not interested in doing what was best for us.

I recently set up AVC payments to boost my pension and the entire process was pain free as Sam O'Mahony explained everything in detail and answered all questions that I had. He was efficient and very knowledgeable and all paperwork was completed with a very quick turnaround. It's very reassuring to know that IPF are at the end of the phone should I have any further queries, at any stage. Overall very satisfied.
