Terrible experience - The starter (Cheese Soufflé) seemed undercooked and the main (Pasta) we can only liken to cheap Minestrone soup (Very watery and tasteless - Would NOT Recommend - Avoid !

I bought a cat lamp. Luckily my bank blocked a 2nd lamp I tried to buy. It was nothing like the picture or description, but was cheap tat that I would have passed on if it was up for free. I raised a Visa dispute after lengthy conversations via email with the criminal Ivy Cambridge company (which my son renamed, "Chinese DelBoy"). I refused to return the item to China due to the back story lies. Eventually I won the Visa dispute and got a refund through my bank. I regret wasting so much time emailing "Chinese DelBoy", when all I needed to do was give the evidence to Visa disputes, and wait patiently.

Cheap plastic rubbish , nothing like the lamps shown that are supposed to be handmade in The UK.The only Ivy Cambridge in Cambridge is a Restaurant not lamps and Jewelery . If you go on Amazon you will find the same items for sale and come from China. The tracking shows they came via airport. You will also now find the same company under Lumiere , like Ivy said , to buy now as closing soon. Got them as gifts but only got for the bin. Still on going problems trying to claim .

Bought two of the dogs . About £60.really disappointed as they are cheap plastic .not worth £5 .
HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK.
Call your bank or visa . Tell them that the item is not as described , poor low quality cheap Chinese product ..
Complain to the company , telling them to send a courier to collect and return the item . They have 15 days to collect it ( Its their responsibility to collect the item ).you do not need to send it back .After 15 days ask your bank or visa to do a chargeback on your purchase . The bank refunds you , then go after the company to recover their cost .

Well I am annoyed that I had to give a star at all. I bought one Dachund dog and then seen an order for two appear . I got on to them and they at least refunded the price of the second dog.
I then had the original dog delivered to me . It looked as if a six year old had made it out of cheap plastic . Not the metal and glass they promised. I emailed them ( Ivy Cambridge) and returned the item back at the start of November to ad year. The cost was nine pounds . But it was the principle .
I have been promised from them ' as soon as it clears customs ' we will refund you . They had no intention of giving any money back. They were just treadi g water until they cleared out. I am so annoyed but no fool like an old fool. Take care all.

Total scam! I wish I’d seen these before I purchased what I thought was going to be a handmade cat lamp. Instead I got a plastic thing that was made by someone like Temu. I reported them to trading standards, Action Fraud and to my bank and hopefully others here will do the same.

Complete rubbish! The Tiffany Style lamp purchased was nothing like the picture, description or materials shown - it was moulded plastic/resin tat that would not be out of place at a Fair Ground.
This is a fake site selling poor/low quality products- avoid.

Item is not as stated in your advert. The quality is poor and what was supposed to be a Westie looks more like a pug.
It is not handmade and bears no resemblance to the breed of dog it should be.
Shame on you for misleading hundreds of people.

This is quite clearly a scam, the website images are all AI generated and they are following the classic store closing/owner has died script. Don't fall for it!

If I could give -100 I would please be aware that this is a fraudulent scam money making scheme that is also hiding under other names and its address is in China.
They will not give you your money back they tell you that you need to send the product back and it will cost you up to £80 they try and fob you off with a 10% refund and they have been reported thousands of times on Facebook and Instagram and something should be done about it. Do not buy.

Don't trust them - Chinese tat that looks nothing like the picture. Return for a refund? Yeah, to China at your cost!!
Any emails appear to be AI generated - you'll get nowhere fast. I managed to claim drawback from the bank, but I'm being pestered by 'Ivy' for a resolution. They are not based in Cambridge, nor are they a family firm that's closing down. Be warned ⚠️.

If I could give them a minus rating I would. They are a chinese company that has advertised that after 20 years they are closing down which is not true. The lamp I ordered is cheap and plastic not hand painted with love and if you want to return it, you have to pay for postage back to China which costsm ore than the lamp. They did offer my £5 back which is more than the lamp is worth. It has also stopped workign after 2 days. Now they are selling clothes. They are scammers and should be avoided!

This should be minus 5 score. Do not touch this company it’s a scam! I almost always check Trustpilot before buying anything but I got caught out. I kept getting this scam on facebook and it looked very nice, hence I eventually bought 2 lamps. I received an email saying that the item had been processed and was out for delivery. That was a while ago and I still haven’t received the lamps. I have emailed them but had no response AVOID THIS COMPANY ITS A SCAM

Ordered a dachshund lamp thinking it was from Ivy Cambridge shop that was closing down, due to the death of her husband who made the lamps. The emails were signed by Ivy. Its a scam. The lamps are from China. Plastic/resin not handmade or made of glass as sold. Do not buy and Ivy doesn't exist.

Terrible. AVOID at all costs.

Facebook advertising gold jewellery and delivering plastic tat. I paid £120 for some items for family Christmas presents, needless to say they won't be given as gifts.

I emailed the company twice without reply. Disgusting.

Like others have said, I sadly fell into this scam. I wish I'd checked TrustPilot reviews before giving them money. They pretend to be a family run UK based company selling handmade products. They are, in fact, scammers based in Miami Florida that ship cheap tiny mass produced rubbish plastic products to you that look absolutely nothing like the images on their website. There is no such business based in Cambridge UK. If you try to return the item for a refund they give you an address in China costing twice the amount of the goods to return it to and try to brush you off with offers of giving you 10% or 20% back to keep you quiet. I've had to take it up with the credit card provider by way of dispute and hope I get my money back that way.

I ordered the Kiko dog lamp for £34.95, soon after I read terrible reviews and realised I had been scammed. I tried to cancel the order within half an hour but they said it had already been shipped so it was not possible. When the lamp arrived it was such poor quality and tacky, definitely not worth the money I paid. Currently trying to go through the refund process. After a look through their website, it is clear that the pictures are AI-generated. Please avoid this company.

I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order for the 'happiness reading mugs' prepared by artisan craftsman.
They arrived as cheap at from deepest China clearly unfinished with no detail whatsoever on the sides of them.
Following protracted correspondence I have agreed to accept a 30% refund as it is not cost effective to pursue it further.

(Warning + What To Do If You’ve Been Caught Out)

Avoid this company.
The website looks like a stylish UK brand selling “handcrafted” products — but my order was shipped from China and the item that arrived was cheap plastic nothing like the photos.

When I asked for a return, they refused to give a UK address and told me I’d have to send it back to China at my own cost. That alone will put a lot of people off returning… which is exactly the point.

Here’s what they don’t tell you:

If a company markets itself as UK-based, they legally must offer a UK return address.
They cannot force you to ship overseas unless that was made clear at checkout (it wasn’t).

If the item is poor quality, misrepresented, or not as described, you’re entitled to a full refund — and they should cover return postage.

Do not send anything back to China.
You’ll pay a fortune and probably never see a refund.

Instead:

Call your bank and ask for a chargeback (or Section 75 if over £100 on credit card).

Tell them the item was misrepresented and the seller is refusing a UK return.

Keep photos, screenshots, and the China shipping label as evidence.

The bank will handle it — not the seller.
