JCP Estate Agents Reviews

Professional, pleasant and on-time.

Best location a price. Next to gym. Very good common room

Professional viewing as always with Francis at JCP. House comes across much better in photos than on viewing. Upstairs accommodation was good but the ground floor felt cramped and would not suit our way of living

Jacob Roberts at JCP is a reliable agent who gives honest, helpful advice. He's responsive to messages (not everyone is!) and does his utmost to satisfy requests. The team overall - notably including Francis-has been a pleasure to work with this last year.

Sale with JCP went through straightforwardly. House on market in Feb, moved in June (as hoped). Jacob in JCP office in East Oxford did a great job with viewings, especially as he grew up in the area and knows it well. Good sale price agreed with trustworthy buyers. Would recommend.

We have been dealing with JCP for about ten years, as they managed our property before we moved into it. Jacob Roberts, who has been our main contact for the last several years, is absolutely brilliant at his job - efficient, calm, thoughtful, and massively competent. We cannot commend him highly enough.

The worst experience Ive had renting with an estate agents.

Really friendly and knowledgable estate agent, knew the detail of the seller and whether they were in a chain etc.

Also knew a lot about the property and had checked with the council about additional parking.

We have recently purchased a property through JCP Estate Agents. We found the team to be helpful, reliable, honest and communicative. They made the process as smooth as they could and kept us regularly updated. A big thank you to Jacob and Francis in particular. I would recommend.

Jacob was excellent very knowledgeable about the local rental market. An agency we are pleased to be working with.

Francis has steered our extended family through three house sales in the last 18 months. He has remained a calm, clear and considerate agent throughout. We all heartily recommend him and James C Penny for any and all of your property needs! Hard work, thought and care are the hallmarks of an excellent estate agent. Thank you, again for looking after us so well!

I have been greatly assisted by Jacob Roberts of JCP with many aspects in
relation to a rental property that has been under the care of JCP for seven
years. He has also assisted with the clear and clean departure of the
tenants and preparing the house for sale also through JCP. I have valued his
good communication skills, his thorough work, his attention to what is
needed throughout and his kind and thoughtful approach in his work to both
tenant and landlord.

Overall I was pleased with the experience of selling my late mother's house. The initial process went smoothly. But then two sets of buyers pulled out at the last minute for unknown reasons. It felt like it took a while to get back on track. I was dealing with at least three different agents and communication was unclear. In the end they sorted it out and got the job done.

Francis was patient, thorough and extremely professional throughout the whole process of selling my late uncles flat.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these agents.

I had made a mistake and needed to reschedule. JCP were very kind about this.

Francis was extremely efficient and effective in getting our transaction over the line. He was highly professional and very supportive throughout the process. JCP staff also provided a prompt and courteous service. If the circumstances arise we will certainly instruct JCP again.

Jacob truly made all the difference. His reliability and promptness are evident, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the rental market. He’s built strong relationships with landlords and transforms challenging situations into purposeful and manageable ones.

Working directly with Jacob transformed our rental experience. It no longer felt like a tenancy; instead, it felt like we had a dedicated team ensuring the property’s maintenance and a positive experience for our family and the landlord.

Francis was very helpful and consistently calm and good natured helping us to navigate the process of buying a property in central Oxford

Jacob was really helpful and provided us with excellent support and guidance around our house sale. Would 100% recommend!
