boo to the management ! won't be a returning customer.
I found the exact same knife on KATABA for £57 cheaper.
different name.
-Good online service via phone calls but they use a bad delivery service DPD.
Also after the delivery service messing me about and finding the same knife for a better price - I wanted a return the knife.
they initially said they would match the price - but KATABA has a full cherry bark around the handle.
They said they would give me a full refund. - I thought for goodwill they meant the additional oil and rust cream.
They said management wouldn't allow it.
So I wasted my time, energy and money on posting back the knife.
wouldn't go back. there are more Japanese knife companies out there.
I rely, phone service was good, helpful.
but the management how they dealt as they have the over riding last say was so bad, resulting in me going somewhere else.

Went to Japanese Knife Company as a side quest on our London trip. Proper knife sharpening
I watched a lot of tutorials on YouTube on the tools and technics to sharpe a knife properly….all wrong. Spend some money and take the sharpening class with Maulik and you will understand the true secrets n how to sharpen a knife properly. He gives you deep insides on how to feel on the knife that you are doing things properly. Totally worth it, great gift for someone who likes knives.
