Fantastic Japanese Knife…
This was a fantastic Japanese Knife store but always so much more.
They carry Konro grills and binchotan charcoal, oil straining pots, tare brushes, Donabe cookware from Iga, graters, Bonsai tools, etc.
I literally filled a suitcase!
The staff is professional , friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.
I highly recommend this store!!

Incredible shop and amazing knife-sharpening lesson
The shop is incredible and full of beautiful knives but, more importantly, I participated to a knife-sharpening class with Maulik Shukla and it was an amazing experience: very enjoyable and very serious at the same time - I learned a lot (it definitely changed how I behave in my own kitchen) and had a lot of fun at the same time. Maulik is passionate, very skilled and knowledgeable, highly trained and he is a great teacher. I highly recommend the shop and the experience!

Long story
Long story! I am a first time buyer and it started with a disappointment. The knifes I ordered were not available anymore but paid and it was said they are on the way. After a short explanation they offered me a very similar knife and a refund for the other item. I’m happy with the knife and the refund was in the account a couple of days later! Will order again soon when the other item is available! Good friendly service and no fuss at all!! A happy first time customer!!

Helpful Japanese older man who helped me clarify what I wanted and what was available.
The item works well - but the plastic will limit its durability.
I would love an item like the Alligator dicer or Bron Coucke mandoline with their steel frames for durability.

Took too long to process order, and only when I have reminded them about my order it was send right away in one hour in that same day.
Delivery when was reminded was fast few day.

I brought three knives to the Greek Street location today for sharpening. Maulik was lovely, making sure I received the first-time free sharpening for the knife which was purchased with them. Was able to pick up the knives within a couple hours. Wonderful service!
