Went in to a buy a matcha kit but was pleasantly surprised with the variety of products available.

DO NOT ORDER KAI SHUN
On November 7, 2022, I purchased a set of Kai Shun knives as a Christmas gift for my husband. The knife set came with a lifetime warranty.
Recently, I submitted all five knives for a warranty claim. I have shipping records and documentation confirming that all five knives were sent to the company. However, only one knife was returned to me.
I have proof that all five knives were shipped and received, yet the remaining four knives have not been returned. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.
I also posted a review on Trustpilot describing what happened. Instead of verifying my order or reviewing the documentation I have, my review was removed. From my perspective, Trustpilot sided with the company without adequately verifying the facts of my case.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Kai Shun products or their warranty service. Customers should carefully document everything if they choose to send products in for warranty claims.

We also note that in a previous review you referred to a Kai Shun knife set with a block purchased from Williams Sonoma. We have never stocked Kai Shun knives, we do not sell knife block sets, and Williams Sonoma is not a company we are associated with in any way. This leads us to believe that you may have us confused with another company entirely.
We did attempt to make contact following your original review in order to investigate, but unfortunately we did not hear back. The review was flagged purely because we had no record of you as a customer and wanted the opportunity to look into this properly.

This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. We sent five knives back for warranty and sharpening. They lost four of them and said they never received them. We even have the package weights where they received it and shipped it that drastically different. They won’t do anything about replacing my products and I’m out $2000.
We will have signed documentation showing where they received them and still told me it wasn’t their problem
They’ve also tried to take my review off and lie and trust pilots terrible too they are the worst customer service of anybody I’ve ever dealt with and they stole our knives they were also a gift for my wife. I’m very disappointed and I can’t believe these people operate this way and more people should find out they never spend a dollar with them.

Amazing customer service
As a chef my daughter has shopped here for some time. The quality of the knives is first class. We have spent a long time in here today browsing and purchasing additions to her collection.
