I had a full week intensive with J Coates for my C + E license. The training and support i received from both the company my trainer was completely sublime. Liam was very professional and delivered top notch training, a genuine top bloke with a wealth of knowledge. I passed 1st time with only one driver fault. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my training experience with J Coats and would recommend them to people looking to gain a lorry license. Would like to thank Triston and Austin for my training, you guys were great. Looking forward to doing my hgv 1 with you guys as soon as possible.

ADR Training
My instructor Simon was excellent, any questions that you needed clarifying were swiftly dealt with and explained in detail.

When passing my exams at this company, I asked about the possibility of signing up for the ADR course, but my questions were ignored and I still haven't received an answer It's a bit of a shame because the communication and service were very good until a certain point. I was surprised that communication suddenly became so limited. One lost customer for ADR. As for the C+E exam itself, it was okay, although I had to wait a month for a retake, which in my opinion was a long waiting period. Price for the course happy with that.

Had a great experience with J Coates!! Alec Steer helped me through everything leading up to it. Doing my driving days working with Ben was so helpful. He was very good at instructing and helped me to pass 1st time! Thank you to everyone there, would recommend to anyone getting C1 licenses :)

The service provided is a very high standard, friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend this organisation.

I had a whole week with J Coates, Monday was my reversing with Ben and then 3 days with Chris followed with my test on the Friday. Ben was very professional and helped me nail the reversing, my three days on the road with Chris was very good, the first day he was relaxed and let me get a feel for the vehicle. The next two days he highlighted what I could improve and helped me to achieve that which resulted in me passing my test on the Friday. I would highly recommend J Coates as they have a great team and will help you achieve that pass at the end of it.

Checking blind spots or he would tell me to vacate,
Go back I would, if I required

Hi ive recently passed my cat c (class 2) license 1st attempt and couldn't of asked anymore from the team at j coats I had 3 lessons and then my test. 2 of the lessons with liam he was calm friendly and proffesional and gave me a great foundation into getting my test passed on the 2nd day I had simon again very chilled I was at ease straight away genuinely both top instructors and got me through a 1st time pass highly recommended thanks again guys😉

Would definitely recommend J Coates!

I recently completed my HGV training with J Coates and passed my test last Friday on my second attempt. I cannot thank the team enough for the support they gave me throughout.
Liam was my main instructor during the practical side and I genuinely could not have asked for better. I spent a lot of time training with him and he made a massive difference, not just in terms of skills but also confidence. He explains things in a way that really sticks and some of the things he taught me were absolutely invaluable when it came to test day. By the end of it, it did not just feel like training with an instructor, it felt like I had made a mate. I would happily meet him for a drink.
Austin mainly helped me with my CPC and reversing test. I did not spend as much time with him, but he made every session enjoyable. Constant dad jokes in his strong Brummie accent kept things light, which actually helped take the pressure off and made learning easier.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend! I really appreciate everyone involved for helping me get through it and pass.

Well done and many thanks to Chris and Paul who shared the teaching on my CPC on-line course yesterday.
They both have a professional, but relaxed style, and with their extensive knowledge and experience of commercial driving, were able to give clear answers to the questions asked by the delegates.
The day was enjoyable and with quizzes and anecdotal examples of real incidents, passed very quickly.
