I'm on disability and need a car so I called the car lot and was informed that they could help me and I explained three times and how much I get a month and how much I got down on the payment they said no problem we can help you and once again I said I don't want to come all the way over there from Newark to just be turned away they said we help people like you so I borrowed a car and filled the tank up which was pretty expensive and drove over there to be turned away they said I didn't make enough money I think it's very very wrong to get somebody to come all the way over there just to be turned down knowing how much money I made a month and they're awful awful place to do business at

I purchased my car yesterday and this morning the doors will not unlock for me to enter the vehicle.I called and was told they would call me back in 10 min but haven’t heard anything from them yet

Do not go to this place. I went and I have three vehicles from them. Worst mistake of my life. They do not have permission to take money out of my account and they still do over and over. I have called they say they will refund me and they don’t. They don’t even let you talk when you are on the phone with them. They are a joke. Take your money to a different company. This place should be shut down. 1 they over draft your account 2 they push you into a vehicle that you don’t want and they say it’s because you don’t have a big down payment 3 they won’t fix anything that is wrong unless you pay the full price even when it is under warranty 4 they harass you , on countless occasions they have called, texted and e mailed me more than 30 times in a day even when I am not due yet and they claim it is because of the computer system. Trust me go to a different car lot. JD Byrider is a joke and they are thieves don’t trust them.

I bought an suv from them. I called to get it serviced. The bcm needed replaced and programmed. The service Dept was supposed to call me back with prices and and never has. I eneded up taking it to a Chevy dealership and ended up paying 1,000 dollars. So much for their extended warranty.

Place is a joke. Not one star..ZERO. Everything that they advertise is a lie. It’s a scam, regardless of guarantee on financial options. Run from these con artists. Worst used car dealership ever!

it's tax time take yall business some were else beside jd by rider that's not a good option they over price they cars and when you make your payment most of the payment going toward the loan and not the car.so there for your balance is not going down any I'll never deal with them never again.

I was so happy when ever I got this vehicle. That is untill I had for like a week or so. There are so many problems this this vehicle. It brought me to my knees. I feel so insulted and taken advantage of. All I wanted was a safe working vehicle that will fit all 5 of my kids. Now I am stuck paying for a vehicle that I can barley drive. There are issues with the engine and electrical issues. I asked so many times if there was anything wrong with the vehicle. I actually asked the lady on the phone who scheduled me to come in for the van and the actual sales rep. They both told me nothing is wrong g with it. I only had the car for a week or so before I noticed problems. Then you van never get a hold of anybody. It's not like the receptionist makes apt for service. She answers the phone and forwards you to a voice-mail. I can imagine their service dept being so busy with them selling broken cars and all. Do not ever buy a vehicle from here. Unless your a lawyer who can go after them. This place is awful. The sales reps are so kind so you do not think that your being ripped off. But trust me you are.

Big joke don’t buy a car they don’t know what they are doing mine broke down yet again today and was in shop month ago and they said they fixed this lol

This place is a joke. KBB value 4397.00 they wanted 12,997.00 +19% interest with 400.00 a month payments for 6 yrs. LMAO. 4 TIMES THE CARS WORTH!!!! Then has the nerve to tell me KBB doesn't mean anything anymore. Well it does to me. I'm not stupid enough to pay 4X the value for a 13 yr old car with 140,000 miles on it. Do yourself a favor and find a real car dealership!!

DO NOT Come to this place. Listen I understand that not having my real name or image on here may make you question the validity of what I'm saying but please trust me. I know your going there because your credit isn't good enough to get a vehicle elsewhere, you need a car now I get it .

Whatever you can do please do not go here. CNAC as a finance company and byrider are scammers. Yes there are some reviews on here that gave them 5 stars but understand some can be false accounts or based on their initial service. Go check out CNAC and JD Byrider on the Better business bureau website and look at the score and complaints. If thats not enough google the Lawsuit that happened to JD Byrider in Massachusetts. Please save yourself the financial handcuffs and headache and avoid.

I purchased a vehicle here in September of 2021 and the car broke down January 15th of 2022. Theyre not gonna fix it and look at the image below when i went to go check on the car look how they have it parked up against the cement wall in their "Repair Shop".

I spoke to the manager Russ from JD Byrider and his statement was "I cant help you sorry im not the one with the messed up engine." Which is pretty crazy to say do your research please and dont go unless its the last resort.

Do not I repeat do not buy any vehicles from JB RIDER in Holland, they buy water damage vehicle and resell them. I been leasing a vehicle from them since 2019. Recently the vehicle started acting strange so I take it to the mechanic who informed me that under the car is rusted out really bad that it had to be a water damage vehicle. Everytime he welded a piece, rust just falling so bad that he have to add a bar which first welding was 1400 and now I need to pay 500 for him to weld a bar because of the rust. Then I called them to inform them of what's going on because I don't have a payment for them at this time to be told I need to get a better welder. The owner of this JB RIDER knows he buying water damage/damaged cars and don't care. This vehicle had 37 reports of damages on Carfax.

Five years ago, I purchased a vehicle and my experiences with it and JD Byrider (at the time) was never disappointing.

Fast Foward: On Monday, 12/06/2021 (circa 1645) to Byrider (of Durham) to speak with someone in the Service Dept about my vehicle that was sent to them on Monday, 11/29/2021; no one was available. My initial complaint for this service date was the vehicle not starting the day after my last service date in May of 2021; a complaint that was made to them immediately; a complaint that was “resolved”– long enough for me to drive to the car’s place-of-rest until 12/06/2021. As I was leaving, I noticed that Jennifer Bruno, General Manager, was seated at her desk eating. After asking to speak with her, she pulled up her mask, and proceeded to invite me (along with my partner) to have a seat. I attempted to address my concerns but, Miss Bruno began to over-talk me, especially when I informed that I did not feel safe in that car (it shuts down in mid-drive) – demanding to know why she’d never heard of this car having issues and, why I waited 7 months to bring it to anyone’s attention. My partner began to ask her to google the vehicle’s engine (Ecotech 2.4L) to which Miss Bruno sneeringly exclaimed, “I’m not doing that…and who are you?...She (myself )said she didn’t want us talking to anyone about her account.” I reminded her that I said, “…without my consent” and I gave her consent to speak with him. He, then stated his name and she, immediately, accused him of being aggressive to her. Shocked, he and I verbally disagreed and she continued to insist he was. Because I sensed she was trying to depict him as aggressive, I turned to him and attempted to stop him from speaking any further by saying, “No. No. No.” It was during this moment Miss Bruno interjected by pointing her finger at me and barked, “…I’m not gonna have you talking to me like I am a child!” The interaction became irreversibly tumultuous because of her bullying and constant accusations of aggressiveness.
Not only was I disrespected by her pointed finger, I eventually felt the brunt of her racist words, inflections, body language and falsely accused characterizations (of my partner and myself), upsetting me... She asked me to leave her office, and I did so...upset, visibly affected and, crying behind the disrespect.
*It is important to note here that my partner was present, start-to-finish, on the date the vehicle was financed.

Buyers, Beware. Buyers, Beware.
Please research any vehicle you may be interested in before signing. Ask questions. I signed a lease after a car accident, suffering an undiagnosed concussion. My insurance check was sent to them and Jennifer Bruno assured me she would take care of me because I am a loyal customer.
But, now, I am expected to drive a car that shuts down, at-will; a car that has ceased to operate multiple times mid-drive and the day after being serviced and/or repaired; a car that has caused me fear to drive it because of its random malfunctions; a car whose emergency brake engages when it feels the desire (it disengaes the same).
They have not tested the car on the road since having possession of it since 11/29/2021. Two miles - that is how far it was operable from the moment I drove it after they serviced it...but they want me to drive it for 1000 miles before they even look into possible engine trouble. My Life's Jeopardy vs Their Commission(s) for a completed sale - which one bears more value?

If you can purchase a bicycle do that instead. This company has bad ethic and loopholes that keep them from being accountable. Just don't do it!

This is our 2nd car we bought thru them first time was great and awesome this time has been a nitemare we battled over far at first sold the one out from under us after stating to come back then they brought this suv it was dirty on inside definitely wasn’t cleaned needs some work which they will do we just rolled it now move forward to today I call over tags that go dead tonite 12.2.21 I’ve been calling first they wanted us to get a duplicate title with the number then yesterday after calling they ups overnite I call this morning she tells me she will call back didn’t hear from her so I call them ride down there and magically she said she just got off phone and it was delivered at 1.08 pm would have been nice to have that call now I have dead tags and will have to wait on hubby to get off work to get it done which I would have today had she called me like she said she would but now will not drive on dead tags she said ride on title down there don’t work like that.I really loved byrider but this experience has ruined that for us.be careful who u deal with when buying a car or suv

Scam. Scam. Scam!!! Asked for list of prices multiple times and information on interest rates and they kept stalling. Sat in their office for hours before they came out and told me they had 4 cars in their lot that my bank approved of. I chose a 2010 Kia Forte with 115,000 miles. Still They didn't give no price! Once they did it was well over what I expected. 11,500!? A brand new Kia forte is a little under 14,000. They explained they get their cars from auctions. Lol 😆 cars are super cheap from auctions. They wasted my time and will NEVER EVER refer them to anybody!!

The only reason I'm giving a 2 star instead of one star is the simple, undeniable fact that it is thanks to J.D that I was able to get my first car. That being said, THATS ALL THEY DO FOR YOU IS PUT YOU IN A USED VEHICLE! Their "service technicians" can't even find the source of any issues that go wrong with the car even after a month of purchase. If the vehicle undergoes such detailed and full service before you sell it, HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW OR FIND THE CAUSE OF A MECHANICAL ISSUE OF THE CAR YOU SELL!?

So in essence, this is more like a 1.5/5 stars.

I had this small suv Kia storage since December had problems since day one now the car been at the KIA dealership to be fix cause they can’t figure out what’s wrong with it I got this car for my son to go to college and work he can’t do either I have to work to pay two car payments cause he can’t get to work they keep giving me the run around for three weeks now I would never deal with them again can’t get a loaner car ever week it’s a different promise and no results KIA haven’t even touched the car yet angry customer and I recommended three people for them I’m so sorry I did that

So I bought this 2013 Nissan Versa a few weeks ago from jd byrider. Everyone at the place was extremely nice and helped me get a car. But I have been having problems with this car since the 1st day I have had it it started with a bent rim and a noise in the steering wheel which they fixed. Then it was a transmission issue come to find out my tranny cooler line ruptured and I had a oil leak so I had to take it in again 3 days later my car is fixed and I am back on the road I get my car back and I start having shuttering and hesitating when I accelerate so I took it back again the fluid was a quart low so they topped it off and a couple days later I get my car back. the tranny now seems better but sometimes still has little issues with hesitation occasionally and once in a great while has a small shutter at this point I’m just frustrated and don’t know what to do the people there are really nice and Chris really try’s to help me but something needs to be figured out I can’t keep get loaner cars to get to work and get my kids to school

20% FINANCE CHARGE!!!! Most cars have over 100,000 miles....No prices listed,,,They charge twice as much a the Kelly Blue Book listed quote!!(check out first}They are in the FINANCE business, the cars are a front for this SCAM!! They want you to default on your Bi Monthly payments @ 20% {not negotiable} s0 they can repossess the car and sell it again! They have a very high default rate...

I would give this company a zero if given the option. I have had nothing but trouble out of these people. Horrible company! The first car I was buying broke down within two to three months. It took more than two months to repair it. In the mean time, no loaner car at all. I had to find alternative ways to get to my dialysis treatment, when I was even able to find a ride. Then, they tricked me into buying on another car. Within 6 months, the computer started going out on it. Again, I found my way back to no transportation, as they would not lift a finger to help me repair it. All they said was that if I could have it hauled to their garage, they would fix it if I would pay on it. Huh? Do they not know customer service? Hmmm.... I think that sounds a little off. RIP OFFF COMPANY, by far, the worst I've known of, and certainly, the worst I have dealt with. I ended up going to another car lot and getting one. Thousands of dollars lost, and nothing to show for it!
