Having initially experienced a problem with my order, and having read previous reviews which were not kind regarding the customer service at Jennis and Warmann I was very worried that my best man and father of the bride would be without their suits for my wedding which was approaching fast. Jennis and Warmann were however excellent in getting the issue sorted and replacements expedited for me at no extra cost in plenty of time for the wedding...... and I absolutely love the suit too.

Although the delivery ended up being about 10 weeks, the suit when it arrived was beautiful. It fits like a glove and all the extras that I asked for were included. The fabric is wonderful and will be perfect for my 1920's Gatsby themed wedding. Jay and the team were excellent in making sure I was kept up to date with the delivery schedule and although the time to receive the suit was longer than expected, the quality more than makes up for it. This is my third suit from J&W and I would not hesitate to recommend them - just make sure you order in plenty of time if you are on a schedule!!

Suits are made in Hong Kong, when I keep contacting the UK phone number rim told that they can't answer my questions as the tailors are asleep at this time (2pm UK time) and that they won't answer my query until 6pm, at which time the UK number is closed so I have to wait until tomorrow for an answer. Suits are now late and our wedding is in two weeks. Don't be fooled by low prices or good looks. They don't know how to deliver what they sell.

I wanted to buy a custom made suit for my other half, and spent a while researching for a good shop, and Jennis & Warmann came up I thought that the suits that they were selling online were amazing - I booked in to have a fitting for my other half.

Upon arriving the staff were very helpful. The one gentleman they we dealt with was amazing and very attentive to what we needed. We found the suit we loved, and he even threw in a few free bits, too.

In all, the suit and other bits and pieces came to around £450. We took the accessories home no problem.

the suit itself was £320 custom made, the extra cost being that it is custom made, they charge another £100, which I thought was understandable. After buying the suit, they stated that it can take up to 45 days to make, and when the suit is ready, they will email me to arrange for my other half to come in for a fitting, or to have it delivered straight to me.

I went into the shop on the 4th August 2018. It is now the 25th of September 2018. It has been 52 days since then. And here is what has made my experience so bad:

I was never emailed to say that my suit was ready, it took many phone calls to find out that it was. We were hoping to have it by last Friday as we had an event to go to.
They said to me that the suit would arrive to them on 20/09/18, and would be with me the following day as they do 1-day delivery. Still no suit. I contacted them on the Friday morning and said that it had not arrived. They said that the suit got to them in the evening, so they had sent it out with DPD that very next morning, and I would have it on Saturday. Still no suit. I could not contact them on a weekend either.

Come Monday there was still nothing, so I called them again and they said to me that when DPD arrived they took the wrong parcel and that they were coming back in the evening to pick mine up and it would be with me the next day (today). How on earth they were able to do that is beyond me.
Since then I have still had no confirmation email, and they have since not been picking up their phone at all.

We shall see if the suit actually arrives today, but I am very very doubtful.

In all, the customer service and organisation of this place is absolutely ridiculous, no one seems to know their head from their elbow, and you will definitely not get your suit on time. Thank god we didn't order this suit for a wedding.

For the money that you are paying, you would think that they wouldn't mess you around, but they do, and it seems that I am not the only one that they have done this to.

If I have not received my item today, I will be getting in touch with Trading Standards and taking legal action to get my money back, like so many others have.


Avoid this shop like the plague.

This company is a complete shambles and a disgrace.
Suits are good quality and fit well but they are just not worth the hassle of there APPALLING customer services.
Emails go unanswered for days and sometimes weeks. They are impossible to get hold of on the phone.
I had to chase my suit almost daily and it arrived the day before the wedding only due to my constant chasing.
They forgot one of the ties and we ended up looking round shops the morning of the wedding looking for ties. We never found what we were looking for so was left feeling very dissapointed and upset.
Not received a refund for this and emails are still unanswered.
AVOID at all costs. They are a disgrace and I will be contacting trading standards.

Orderd a three piece suit in tweed, the quality of both the tailoring and material was very poor. The tweed material was more akin to flannel than tweed, the jacket showed shadow lines of the padding around the shoulders at front and rear. Returned the suit and obtained a refund - eventually!

The process of actually getting funds returned to my account was particularly arduous, it entailed numerous telephone calls, numerous emails (all unanswered), and eventually having to threaten taking the issue to my card issuer to resolve before a refund was credited to my account.

Sadly I cannot recommend this company.

The suits are outstanding and fit as hoped. Delivery took a little longer than expected but couldn't be happier with the finished product. I would definitely recommend Jennis & Warmann to people looking for a bespoke suit.

My grandson wore this to his brothers wedding he loved it,so much so he didn't take it off even though it was scorching hot and it was outside in the sunshine many people remarked on the suit !!

What's really disappointing here is that the quality of the product isn't the issue. Their suits are generally well made and good quality. What has really let me down is their customer service. I have ordered twice. On the first occasion when I ordered one charcoal suit and one navy suit, two charcoal suits appeared. At least on that occasion I could live with what turned up so I basically accepted that. However, on the second occasion when I again ordered a further two suits, one was perfect, but the other was completely the wrong size. On both occasion the delivery forms checking the orders had been signed off by the J&W staff, which makes it more incredulous. Granted, I duly received a refund and the underlying product is good, which is why I have awarded two stars and not one, but given that you wait over six weeks each time from placing an order to delivery only for them to get the order fundamentally wrong, means I find it hard to have faith in them as a company again, and that's the real pity.

Absoloutely disgusted with your customer service.
I ordered a 3 piece suit for a wedding and it came without the trousers, even though i specifically selected them and it showed on the reciept as proof.
You had the cheek to say they weren't selected when they were because i had to put in the sizing and length! It's too late to order them again in time for the wedding so now i have to go elsewhere to find something so close to the wedding. I will never shop with you again and make sure everyone else knows what happened.
