Missing waistcoat and terrible customer service.

I paid for a three piece blue classic herringbone plaid suit, plus an extra waistcoat in brown. The suit came in reasonable time and when it arrived I was pleased with the quality. However, it seems that there is little attention paid to the actual order as after a few minutes of rummaging in the box it became evident the blue plaid waistcoat was missing (perhaps they assumed the extra brown was replacing it). As well as that I'd asked for flat fronted trousers and got pleated and the waistcoat has a standard size sewn into the back of it leading me to suspect it may not be the custom fit that I had paid extra for.
I understand mistakes can happen so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and emailed them to find out where my missing waistcoat had gotten to. One week no answer, so I called the office. They told me they were sorry and I'd have an email confirming my waistcoat was being delivered by tomorrow. Nothing came. Then I emailed demanding a refund as there was no time for it to arrive before my wedding. I got an immediate response this time and was told if the waistcoat hadn't left the tailors I'd get a refund. 5 hours later I got a refund of £20... I don't know how this is compensation for an item I paid £114 as an extra or £50 as part of a three piece.

Luckily the suit is nice. Can't deny that. I will just say that if you are planning to buy from these guys do it in good time in case anything goes wrong and don't bother with all the added extras of custom fit as I'm not sure they are really measuring anything.

Upon receipt of these products I returned one and requested a refund. I have had no further correspondence on this matter.

If you can’t handle a sample order...

Only ordered samples, never turned up, no response when contacted multiple times. Had to raise a case with the PayPal to prompt any action.
Definitely wouldn’t trust them with a whole suit.

Shocking customer experience

Arrived on time for my 14:00 appointment on Saturday 28th, knocked on the door. The tailor tuned and looked at the door then turned away, I waited 5 minutes then rang the door bell. No reaction from the employee i could visibly see, after a further 10 minutes i rang the phone number and politely said i was here for my 14:00 appointment (now 14:15), i was advised quite rudely that he was with a customer and would be out later!

There is no way i would spend my money with someone so rude, if on our fist arrival he had come to the door and said ever so sorry but a customer has overrun, could you please go for a coffee and come back in half an hour. Then I would have probably spent £2,500.00 that day.

I suspect he will not be in business long.

Great service and even better product

Just picked up mine and best man's suits for my wedding and couldn't be happier with them! Made to measure dark Green herringbone tweed with burnt orange lining for both, and on the first fit they are perfect.
Only snag of the whole experience is London traffic, but that's not their fault.
The young gent who was there for the measuring and fitting was very friendly and helpful when it came to picking the right style.
Great service, reasonably priced and a great end result.
Will be going there again I feel.

My First order

Placed my order on a whim one boring evening.Turned out to be a great whim. I submitted the order and measurements the accuracy of my measuring was questioned. They were right to do so and I liked the attention to detail. My suit arrived yesterday within the agreed time. The fit is absolutely right and the suit is well made. Overall I’m very satisfied and will use J&W again. These suits are great value almost bespoke at of the peg prices. Only niggle is Trust pilot hitting me with requests for FB before the suit has arrived.

Very poor experience indeed.

Appalling service and no suit. Standard 3 piece suit ordered only. PayPal resolution activated. After waiting 45 days (47 after weekend) and numerous emails regarding delays, curiously no response to the last one where I’m asking for a full refund, I decided enough was enough. These guys struggle to answer phone calls but do respond to emails, only when you’re not asking for your money back. I even had to chase up my own invoice! Truly shocking experience.

Service needs work

Very difficult and slow to get information out of them and they seem generally disinterested, yet they are happy to send constant junk email. If you want a suit it takes a month to deliver which isn’t made clear until after you’ve paid. It also took a long time to get a refund after lots of chasing them up. I’m sure their suits are to a high standard but the rest of the service needs improving.

Woeful customer Service/Unprofessional…

Woeful customer Service/Unprofessional Company

This review is based on personal experience of dealings with the company Jennis and Warmann.

On the 31st January 2018 I ordered via their website 5 Tweed suits. The order was for standard fitting, off the self-sizing, with no customisation.

At the foot of the page in bold red lettering, it stated that the items were handmade to order and delivery took 2-3 weeks but clients should be advised that for final delivery could take up to 30 days.

My order finally arrived 51 days later. In between the 51 days were emails and phones calls asking the simplest of questions which weren’t answered –
1. Where’s my confirmation of order email (breach of company terms and conditions, conditions of purchase 2.2)
2. Where’s my receipt/invoice of payment
3. Where are my suits exactly

The standard of customer care/focus/service was woefully inadequate and wanting. There was a blatant disregard for customer/client needs and answers to questions. For example I was asked to check my ‘junk’ email for an invoice when clearly there wasn’t one sent.

The only thing I wanted was information from the company to inform me about my order, lacking in every respect.
My own personal experience with company Jennis and Warmann, their employees/owners Mr Jennis Asiamah and Ella has caused 51 days of stress, frustration and anger. I never wanted to write a review but felt compelled, 1. As a form of therapy and 2. To inform others of the unprofessional, unreliable and downright disrespect for their customers.

Recommendation; I will not be recommending the company given my experience.

Advice; No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are, how you treat be people ultimately tells all. Integrity is everything.
