I'm giving two stars because I still…

I'm giving two stars because I still haven't received my suit, which I ordered a month ago. I ordered standard sizes, but just needed the trousers hemmed. I can't see why it would reasonably take a month to alter the hem on a pair of trousers.

When my suit finally arrives, I will write another, hopefully more favourable review of the the suit itself, but for now, I must say I am disappointed to have not yet received it.

Not all Facebook adverts are rubbish

An advert appeared on my Facebook timeline for Jennis & Warmann after I’d bought items from several other companies off Jermyn Street and Savile Row, as well as other online tailors and cordwainers.
I liked the story of the company so bought a few items, initially a 3-piece suit as well as a 2 piece (jacket and waistcoat) suit. I liked the options to modify and adjust, the cost and the selection, and also the ethos of the company.
After a few weeks, they arrived in a beautiful presentation box with each item tagged with my name on. This stands out from other more recognised tailors off Jermyn Street and the other online tailors. It’s a wonderful touch that makes the experience better and it’s something that I hope doesn’t change.
The materials and stitching are very good, whilst the cut and fit are excellent. Small things like pocket linings are thought out and chosen well, unlike the contrasting cheap materials used on at least one competitor online company. Sizing is true but not generous. The cut is modern rather than classic and gives a good silhouette. The options allow alterations which makes it close to a made-to-measure, as well as having things which are more seen on much more expensive suits.

Quite literally non existent service

I emailed & sent an online enquiry to this company about purchasing 5 or more suits for the grooms party at my wedding, however it is nearly a week later & so far I have not received any response whatsoever. This has completely put me off of ordering from them as if they can't be bothered to respond to me wanting to make a large purchase, what would they be like if I had any problems with the order?

I will spend my money with a company who appreciates my business & would recommend that others do the same

Please note that our suits are already on sale and at the lowest price you can find. The sales team are unable to reduce this further, but your request was passed on and we are having a look at what we can do for you.

You asked for custom options on your order. On our website and in your order email, it states that custom items will take longer than standard and the turnaround times are also stated.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Bought a suit from them that wasn't what i expected, no big deal I get it. So I sent the suit back for a refund. I still haven't received any communication from them even after contacting them several times. I will never buy from them again nor do I recommend anyone else shop here.

Sorry you are not having the best experience with our customer service. We did indeed send you an email upon receiving the return. We asked you about the jacket you ordered.

You asked us to put custom options on the jacket, which the website states clearly, that once we do that, the item will be a custom and will not be returnable.

We have not had any response on that. Please note that this is very clear on the website and you still went ahead and asked for the customisation.

You can contact us again about this and we'll be happy to speak to you on the issue.

The suit is perfect

The suit is perfect. Couldn't fit better (submitted measurements on-line) and very weighty tweed.

had some issues with delivery as it came close to the deadline, due to the snow, storm emma, (and the Great British inability to deal with inclement weather) but Jay went out of the way to send me a loan suit as a contingency and then got my own suit to me too.

will be buying more suits from Jennis and Warmann.

A poor experience.

34 days from order to delivery for one pair of trousers.
E mailed them several times but didn’t get a single reply.
Upon phoning ,the phone was answered by somebody that simply picked up the phone but didn’t speak.
Finally elicited a response from a chap who’s command of English was unacceptable for a customer service representative.
He couldn’t answer my question but promised to get back to me—— he did not.
My Customer service experience with this company falls far below even what is generally forthcoming in this country nowadays.

I put an order in at the end of January…

I wanted to give an updated review. I ordered my suit in January and have sent multiple emails to find out the status and have gotten prompt responses. The service team has gone out of their way to ensure that they are doing everything in their power to get the suit to me in time for the wedding. I really appreciate it. Once I receive the suit and can attest to the quality then I will change my review to 5 stars.

Dont waste your time........

The ties and fabric sample arrived however no contact was made in regards to the suit hire request.
I have tried a number of times to make contact with no success!!

I have since found another company who not only respond in a timely manner the customer service and quality of goods is far supperior to anything received through jennis & warmann.

My request was regarding arranging a time for my groomsmen to come for a fitting etc and time at a later date due to me living in NZ and couldn’t get to you until I fly back to the uk.

I searched my mail boxes on a daily basis and added you to my contact list to ensure than your reply email would not go into the junk mailbox but I have never received a reply so your response that you tried to contact me is just not true, you could have also tried phone or even a text message as I did supply my number, I won’t be recommending you to anyone to be honest or even consider using you for future hire or purchases ever again it a shame as originally you looked promising but judging by the previous reviews from customers you customer service has still not improved and leaves a lot to be desired.

You submitted a hire request without any sizes and we replied to you telling you we cannot check availability without sizes. We did. It hear from you again on that. I’m not sure how we are to confirm availability of suits when we do not know what sizes you require. We had asked that you resubmit your request with the correct sizes when you have them.

Possibly the worst consumer experience…

Possibly the worst consumer experience I have ever had. First ordered a suit in January which when delivered was the wrong pattern and the fit was very tight. Emailed and spoke to customer service and wrote when returning suit which cost a further 17.00 Still waiting for a reply from(Jay Head of Sales/ M.D) Reordered suit on 01.02.!8 and paid again 4 weeks later got an email asking to confirm sizes and order when I called to query delay was told they could not fulfil order. Absolutely disgusted with this company and their attitude is S**T

I do love their suits and they are…

I do love their suits and they are clear on the lead times but I do wish they’d be better on updating you through the process as you only hear something 5 weeks on when your suit has been dispatched
