Dan visited to undertake the autumn treatment and gave great guidance as to what additional care I need to undertake to restore some areas of the lawn affected by the long dry summer.
The organic lawn feed with some rain has really benefited the lawn before winter sets in.

Joes Lawn Care have been looking after us for over 2 years now and the lawns are looking absolutely fabulous!
This autumn Calum came to give our lawns their seasonal attention. He is a great, knowledgeable guy who really loves his work, and it shows.
We have been so impressed with the lawns, that this
year, we have indulged in our first surface treatment, ,patio, paths and driveway, the second treatment takes place in the summer.

Billy was punctual and he gave after treatment tips

After 2 years of treatments and numerous attempts to remedy the situation the lawn is no better and probably worse than when they started - don't waste your money!!

Lawn was scarified and reseeded and we followed their advice to the letter after treatment. The result is we do not have a lawn any longer. It is a bald mess with rare tufts of grass. I am fed-up of being asked "What happened to your lawn?" and having to explain that it was "treated" by Joe's Lawncare people and this is the result! We are still waiting to hear when they replace what they have destroyed. Photos can be supplied!

The company returned and scarified the lawn again before re-seeding back in the Autumn. It is at least green now and is gradually recovering. They have been proactive in fixing the problem and hopefully we will have a lawn that we can enjoy seeing by the Summer time.
All of the people who work for the company have been very understanding and as helpful as possible.

My lawn had leather jackets, which are commonly known as daddy long legs, feeding on it and gradually disappearing.
Joe’s lawn treated it in October and I have had new turf put down and now they are looking after my new lawn!
What a difference knowing it’s in such safe hands!! Very knowledgable and I would 100% recommend.

After my advice my mother stopped paying £20 a month to this awful company.

In the end she was told she owed approx £60 after they kept supposedly visiting when my mum was out.
This was after she told them she no longer wanted the service

When my mum questioned this she was threatened with court / bailiffs

Appalling!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. Despite being charged for three separate treatments between January and April 2025, I only witnessed one visit — and that was the final one in April.

They claim to have carried out “renovation work” on 15 April, including aeration and root treatment, but this was never communicated, never visible, and made no noticeable difference to the lawn. I strongly believe this work was not carried out at all, and I received no proof to the contrary.

When I raised my concerns and cancelled the service, they responded by insisting all services had been delivered and then issued a final bill of £193.16 — which they are now threatening to escalate to debt collection.

Despite attempts to engage reasonably, the company has shown zero willingness to acknowledge the gap between their records and what was actually delivered. I found the experience both frustrating and unfair, especially considering the lack of visible improvement in the lawn and the dismissive attitude when concerns were raised.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Sorry I didn't see Callum and sorry the lawn was a bit of a state. Unfortunately getting salmonella and spending the last 3 nights of my holiday in hospital wasn't planned! Still recovering and was at the dentist getting the front tooth I chipped when I passed out, fixed when Calum visited. Hopefully I'll recover, and so will the lawn!

When you can get hold of someone at Joes lawn care they are helpful and seem to have good expertise. Emails often need chasing and phone calls don’t get responded too.
I was left upset after being made to feel I hadn’t followed the advice they gave me (which was different across two different members of staff). I’m currently left with a lawn minus the moss (happy days) but with seed that isn’t taking so looks just as bad as it did before.

Great bunch of guys who leave the lawn looking great.

Our lawn is improving with Joe’s lawns looking after it. We had a young man called Billy treat our lawn. He was a very pleasant, polite and enthusiastic young man. He explained everything he did, the treatments he gave and the conditions of the lawn thoroughly and patiently. He was a real credit to the company and made us feel important not just a number. Thank you.
