I joined stepladder to save and build…
I joined stepladder to save and build credit. In my current circle 2 members have 3 hands and 1 of these people has drawn consecutively over 3 months which is really disappointing and not random in my opinion. Stepladder also does not improve credit ratings at all and does not show on any credit report what so ever. The charges are not competitive with other saving schemes. Unfortunately I will no longer use stepladder as it has no benefits, better off just opening a savings account and paying 100 in each month with no charges in my opinion. Never again !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry StepLadder hasn't met your expectations, we aim to always delight our Members with our service and as you can see from the other reviews on here then we nearly always manage to do this.
I understand your disappointment that you have not been drawn yet, but the Circles are drawn at random and it really is luck of the draw who is picked by the computer. Each spot has an equal chance of being selected.
You also mentioned that you had joined Stepladder to improve your credit rating. We report monthly to Equifax - both for drawn and undrawn members. While we cannot audit Equifax’s own methodology (as it is their IP), we do understand that regular payments, and balance repayment, are positives for credit score.
I'll email you an offer to see if you're prepared to give us another try. Most of our Members love the excitement of Draw Day and report that it keeps their motivation for saving high.

Stepladder really helped me to save its brilliant.
I don’t know anyone who does partners so this was ideal for me.
I have saved £100 per month and paid off £1000 off a loan I am trying to clear.

I am very happy with the service…
I am very happy with the service provided by this company! As soon as I got the first draw, I was quite surprised. It is a very straight forward process. After the draw, I received my payment the next day, so it seems that the process is pretty quick. The number of circles I have open is four, and I plan to use this service this year to save up for holidays and household items, and maybe next year to start saving for my new home.

Helful contribution
The monthly contributions feels like it is a normal household bills for me as it just comes out of my bank account. I like the fact that stepladder gave me prior notification before the payment is due.

I have used StepLadder in the past and had no issues with them. I signed up once again with them and I’m glad that I did as they help you save monthly and when it’s your time to draw there is no problem with the money being sent to your bank account.

I'm so sorry StepLadder hasn't met you expectation and you don't understand how the draw works.
The draw happens every 7th of the month and all our Members get emailed reminding them to log in and see if it's their turn to be drawn and receive their money. From there you should see a sequence of screens which let you know if this is your lucky month and what the next steps are.
I'm going to drop you an email (to the address you registered at StepLadder with) and explain in more detail, then you also have a direct line to me to make sure you are happy and everything is clear.
Once again, I am very sorry that you've been disappointed. We aim to delight each and every StepLadder Member.

We'd love to offer our product for free but unfortunately we do have to charge fees to cover the cost of providing a service to our Members. We use the fees to cover the cost of reporting to the credit bureau , risk mitigation for Members, providing Members with great deals and running the Membership Team who are here to support and help you on the journey. Our philosophy is not to profit from these fees but to cover the cost of delivering a great service to our Members.
