Review for Katanamart

I recently purchased a basic katana from KatanaMart and its quality was of an incredibly high standard for one in the "basic" range. Packaging and courier service was perfect, no damage to the item or packaging upon arrival and a short waiting time between purchase and delivery. A side note being that the customer service was beyond excellent too, all my questions and queries were answered promptly and adequately, I spoke to Alex specifically and he helped tremendously as this was the first katana I have purchased. I have already recommended Katanamart to my friends and peers who share my interest in Japanese swords and history.

I purchased a Kuroda katana recently as my first shinken. It feels well balanced and the tsuka was bound well. The saga is a good fit, ensuring it holds the blade firmly. I have not cut extensively, but the blade is sharp and cuts well. The only slight disappointment was that the blade arrived very slightly bent; not enough to cause an issue, but equally it has a little lateral curvature in it.

Got my items quickly and the team was very supportive. Will be purchasing from these guys again. Amazing products

I've bought a few different items and everytime I have had a great experience. Although, I have been a little with my orders they have helped me. The products I have received have been great quality.

I will 100% buy from them again in the future

I had amazing expirince with Katanamart. I ordered my 3 set sword because I started to get interested in samurai and their history.I was able to save my money and the day when I order it 29/11/21 I felt so happy. After some week passed I contacted Alex because I couldn't wait to see my katanas. He explaind everything about shipping and I understand the shipping process. When the day came and my katanas arrived I oppened them really quickly and I got suprisised how nice they ware. Now I'm focusing to save money to get Musashi's katana and wakizashi.

Excellent iaito.
As ever the product quality is excellent and I have purchased from them many times
The website is informative and photos excellent
I always get prompt reply to my queries. The only reason that I have not given 5 stars is for the lack of delivery updates on back orders
That said they will always be my first stop for Japanese weaponry

The order was successful and easy I’m still waiting for mine😃

The delivery was quicker than I expected. The information on the website means I shop with confidence. I will shop again for myself and gifts. My only suggestions would be comparison of products, other than that website flows.

Bought a kunishi tanto, deliver was quick, customer service was helpful and the item arrived well, and was great quality. Can recommend.

An ordered item simple delivered as its described. Thats it That must do a reliably company....as yours.

I have had 5 swords from Katana Mart all of them fantastic quality in varying styles of sword 1 has been used for tameshigiri 2 are being used soon for tameshigirin 2 2 are iaito and are being used for training, I am new to iaido but am enjoying every training session and the swords are great quality which only enhances the experience.
Alex at katana mart uk is a great source of information and a great help when it come getting your order sorted and dispatched on time.
Thanks katana mart

I've always been interested in getting a Japanese type sword for myself and looking through the avaliable sites this one looked the most inviting and clear compared to the others. Furthermore the wide variety of choice for many price ranges made light work of choosing what to buy. I would say to anybody looking to buy a sword especially in the UK to use this site.

Ordered a katana a few months ago and was truly a great experience from the website to my front door. I am greatly happy with my order.

The katana is of a very high quality.
The blade is very well crafted and as a heavier blade it feels good and weighty in the hand.

I brought a katana and wakazaki and 3 maganakis all really nice very sharp and they stay sharp I cut Matt's and they are great plus really nice finish on natural wood I would buy again from you

The quality equates to the price. And their delivery time is fast and accurate. The quality of the blades can be better though, as a practical katana I bought was 1mm thicker on one side of the blade than the other.
