Just had a mortgage offer declined due to internal audit with no reason, after weeks of excessive documents and scrutiny it’s just a dead end. Exchange is only couple days away and you guys should do better in explaining stuff and I’m sure this is an internal error that caused it to be decline

The valuation report wasn’t very good
The valuation report wasn’t very good. Valuer supplied through Kensington to value the property was too one sided and towards Kensington. If we were applying for 90% of the value I would understand coming in below. But we felt that the value didn’t represent what we needed.
