Same con woman, same Keto low carb bakery, same non existent customer service.

Further to my review on Low Carb Keto Bakery, seeing they have rebranded, I chased them for the refund they promised over the phone and on email. After months of being told just to be patient and that management would process my refund, another email exchange with a different person who told me to claim it through my bank.
I did but I’m very disappointed they couldn’t get round to it but looking at this and the fact they’ve turned commenting off instagram, they’re continuing to scam people. Disgusting.

Despite not receiving an order confirmation or any replies to my emails regarding my order I was pleasantly surprised when my goods actually arrived looking really good, if somewhat small for the price
However my pleasure was short lived when I actually tasted the products as they were absolutely vile and made me very ill indeed. I threw most of my order in the bin.
Do yourself a favour and save your money unless you want to lose weight by being ill!

This is Low Carb and Keto Bakery under a different name. Just go and have a look at their reviews to see how hundreds of people have been scammed out of their money (including me). I am lucky enough to have paid through PayPal and to be able to get my money back. However, I have filed a report with the police. I placed an order in August with LCKB, never received my order. In September I got an email saying the order had been cancelled and they would issue a voucher. Never received a voucher. I emailed several times asking for my refund and it was only when I threatened to go to the Police that they responded saying they’ll process a refund. 3 months later and no refund, they had closed down their website, shut their social media and all my emails to their contacts were undeliverable. They had completely closed down and left hundreds out of pocket!
They then reopened under this - keto back shack. Cant believe they are getting away with it so Beware!
I’ve filed a report with the Police & ActionFraud so hopefully they will pay for all they have scammed!
Order at your own cost but from an ethical point of view, they should get 0 customers.

I never read any reviews when I placed my first order back in June, it did state on the website orders would take up to 2 months due to kitchen facilities which is completely acceptable during a pandemic. My second order was placed a couple of weeks after. First order arrived 3 months later, I was a little frustrated but more from being desperate to have bread! My second order never arrived and I did eventually receive a refund. I know they have rebranded and I actually feel bad for them with all the negative reviews. I have since placed a recent order which arrived instantly and I’ve just placed another order. I’m more than happy to be patient, in my job at an accountants I have just over 300 clients to look after and from all warps so I know first hand the damage the pandemic has caused to businesses and I know the hard work they are putting in to try keep their business a float. One very happy customer here and I will continue to use their services. I wish them all the best 🙏🏻

Please be aware that this is the Low Carb and Keto Bakery trading under a different name. Have had a horrible experience with this company. I ordered in June, well aware that there was a delay in orders. I then chased them up in September when they promised my order was on its way imminently. After a further few weeks I requested a refund. This was promised and never materialised. Instead I was sent a text to say I would be receving a voucher. When I queried this I was told that my feedback will be passed to management. I then had no contact for a further few weeks. After this my emails were ignored. In the end I had to contact my credit card issuer for a refund. This was 5 months after my initial order and I still have heard nothing from the company. I really would recommend that you avoid this company at all costs

Just low carb and keto bakery under a new name to try and escape all the customers they scammed, I would search the lowcarbandketobakery and read all the reviews before ordering from keto bake shack, alot of images of the products on the website are stolen such as the actual Mars bar picture claiming to be their own product is just one example. No doubt they will try to get customers through instagram infulencers again.

I know the history of the former company however that being said I have never personally had a problem with my orders in fact even mid pandemic when things were not great the company went above and beyond to help me.

I get to now, my order arrived within the specified time frame, well packaged. I’ve tried a selection of the products I ordered I am so far enjoying the rocky road and flapjacks. I will be ordering again, I believe everyone deserves a second chance especially given the pandemic we are still in. So thank you Keto Bake shack I’m one very happy customer.

I am writing this review as I only think it's fair to do so given my previous not so great experience with the old company. I had ordered a couple of items including mince pies and cherry morello slices. I didn't realise I was ordering from the same company as it was under a new name as I wouldn't have and this is me just being honest . Anyway to cut a long story short, I had given up any hope of receiving my orders anytime soon given my previous experience but was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived within the specified time and in very good condition. The reason why I haven't given a 5 star is because I haven't tried the goodies. Thanks for proving me wrong. I believe everyone deserves a second chance so please keep up the good work!!

I understand that everyone deserves another chance to rebuild but you still have hundreds of customers that are chasing their money and instead of dealing with that, I am now being spammed by the same company under a new name. Not good!

So where do i start with this review?
I checked Trust pilot BEFORE ordering from this company, unfortunately because i put spaces in between the words, they did not show up on the system and so i proceeded with this order!

I ordered a cake (and some other items) late March for a birthday coming up in April. The confirmation email i received said 10-14 days. On their automated chat it said 7days, so i figured i'd wait the 14 days and... nothing.
I started to get worried as id never ordered from them before and sent out an email to enquire as to an ETA of arrival.
I got nothing back.
I emailed again. Nothing
I tried their online chat. Nothing but automated messages.

So now im worried this could be a scam site so i go back online and i see that they had recently updated their site to state due to Covid19 orders may take 2months to process!!
As i need this for a bday, that is waaaay too long so i email back rather irate now and state if i dont hear back i will consider court proceedings. This is my 6th message!

So of course i finally get a response full of platitudes and emojis stating that the virus has meant that ingredients are hard to source!
(Nope! I literally bought every ingredient you need for a keto cake in Tescos 2 days ago!)
So i say, well if you cant source ingredients you clearly arent baking anything so why cant i just get my money back?
(And why are you taking orders if you cant source ingredients anyway?!?!)

Then the story changes and its no they are actually processing my order right now! So i ask how long will it take and they refuse to give me a ETA!!

At this point i state i want my money back and as you already guessed, they refuse.
So 20 days after ordering, they have not started making my order, they refuse to tell me when it will get to me and they also refuse to give me my money back!

They also delete messages i posted on Facebook and the owner sent me voice messages via FB to say she would sue me for libel if i said anything negative about them online!! She also said i was harassing her staff with my emails!!

So me asking where the item i PAID for but havent received is harassment and me making a legit complaint about the clearly shoddy service is libellous.

I am now convinced this is not a legit business but one dodgy woman in her kitchen and a sexy website!

PLEASE NOTE: It is now day 20 and i still have not received my items, nor an indication of when she will even start making my item and she refuses to give me my money back!! I told her i absolutely no longer want her items i just want my money back!

Yup im taking this woman to court!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

UPDATE SEPT 2020: So eventually a lady got back to me very apologetic. I said I wanted my money back because i ordered this for a birthday and this is going to be late. She said she was going to get my money refunded to me, so I felt much better. But instead of refunding me, they just sent the goods (even though it was pointless because it was too late for the birthday at this point)

The goods they sent were hit and miss. The packaging was not great, so the massive cake i ordered was a bit damaged. The red velvet cake was very sweet and had that crunchy taste when erithrytol cools which was off putting. The Raspberry muffins and pizza bases were really lovely. The cookies just sort of had a weird soft texture that fell apart in your mouth, like when a cookie has been left out too long. The bagels were bland and didnt really toast but were better than nothing when one has bread cravings. The lemon victoria cakes were sooo disgusting I had to throw them out.
So out of all the goods i bought, to only really like the pizza base and muffins, it was not worth all the drama. I did consider actually ordering some more pizza bases from them but came on here and in the space of a few months since i first posted this review they have gone from 8 bad reviews to hundreds!! So they have clearly not learned anything since I last ordered and I absolutely will not be ordering from them again.

Because my order did actually arrive though, I will go from minus 100 stars to minus 50 stars!! The pizza bases were great. But still not worth the stress. It's a shame. They could have had a real loyal customer in me.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! Re-branded from the low carb bakery. They have no idea how to treat customers properly. I finally got a refund after months of chasing by threatening legal action.

Please do not use this company. They are the same people behind the Low Carb & Keto Bakery company. They are so awful they had to close that website and start again. I am still out of pocket and no hope of getting the money back.

One of the most disgraceful companies I have ever ordered from. They have rebranded in an attempt to try to hide the truth about the way they run their company and their scams. What you see on their site is NOT what you will receive. They steal photos from blogs to use as their own. They claim things are made to order but then send you something different to what you requested due to the item you wanted being 'out of stock'. You are not allowed any refunds due to things being 'made to order' when they clearly are not. It is just a way to take your money and give you disgusting inedible products without you being able to gain a refund. The cake I received actually burned my throat. The red velvet brownies looked nothing like the pictures. I noticed that they censor comments online so people are not able to look at reviews. Even on their website they do not display the bad reviews. After I did more research online, I realised many people were outraged and many customers were finally able to expose that they had received rotten, mould covered food. Please do not buy from here as it truly is a health risk.

This is a recent rebrand from another low carb keto bakery store after their apalling customer service, poor products and dreadful trust pilot reviews forced them to abandon their other bakery

Since ordering from their new site, nothing has improved with their service, products or customer experience. Delays are long and heavy despite numerous complaints. Company has been shown previously to not be paying VAT, tax etc.

As a small business owner myself I find this repulsive and will not be purchasing from this company again. Better off going to Waitrose!
