When I decided to replace my ADT system, I was happy to find the Konnected product. The company has a good install base and it works very well with Home Assistant. When I did have an issue, they were prompt in replying and troubleshooting the issue with me. I think it's not for everyone as there are some technical aspects from a troubleshooting standpoint, but again that's way better than ADT every did. I recommend this wo anyone tired of paying a company to "monitor" your system for you.

Nate and everyone at Konnected are AMAZING, Fantastic customer service, knowledge and support. I've been a customer since the very beginning and this is now my 2nd house powered by their amazing boards. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, and have no plans of ever looking back.

Easy to install and setup. Two months working flawlessly.

Product has great features to perfectly fit our use-case, but the board failed in a day. Support was great in replacing quickly. Hoping the replacement stands the rest of time.

Wish i had more than 4,000 characters to write my story but to make it very very short, after searching the web and getting an astronomical 1909$ quote (2,300$ with tax) from a local alarm guy to install an alarm system in my pre wired condo, i decided to try Konnected’s product. I watched all the available videos either from founder Nate Clark himself or DIYers who took the time to make install videos and decided i would try their inexpensive starter kit to begin with. I’ll admit i was thinking at the time this was too good to be true. Everything seemed to be so reliable and easy to install there had to be a catch, right ? Well it turns out there wasn’t;
While waiting for my order, i proceeded to trace all the wires and install the door sensors. When i received my package i went on to install the motion sensors and siren and fit the board and backup battery in it’s alarm cabinet i got for 20 bucks at an electronic store nearby. Always following instructions from Konnected’s web site i connected all the wires to the board and plugged it to power. It came to life immediately and from there on it was just a matter of identifying and provisioning the zones to my Konnected account. Then, feed said zones into the SmartThings app on my phone. Few hours later after receiving my package i had a fully functional alarm system. Later that week i also discovered i could install leak sensors in the basement, heck i didn’t even know such devices existed. Since the initial installation went so smoothly i decided to order a second 6 zone Ad-On board and connected 2 leak sensors and a piezo buzzer in a matter of hours (because i had holes to drill in the drywall since those weren’t already pre wired). At the same time i also got the Amazon Fire 8 tablet and installed it using the 3d printed frame available on Konnected’s site also. Everything works flawlessely and i am very very impressed. If i had to do it all over again i would order the pro panel from the get go, but hey i just wanted to start small and test the product first. I am also impressed by all the support i got from Nate and Andy Wulff, who answered every question i threw at them. Honestly i wasn’t sure i could tackle this project by myself, but it’s easier than it looks. If i can do it, anybody can do it. . I had a lot of fun doing this project and I highly recommend all of the Konnected products. Buy with confidence and have fun.

I love everything about Konnected. I was able to tear out my old ADT security system that barely functioned and now I have a complete home automated security system with monitoring!! Was incredibly easy to install, the hardest part was just knowing which wires what to what sensor.

Everything worked as told…very good.
This is an option for really taking control of your Home Automation.
Operate your Alarm as you wanted, when you wanted.

Easy to setup which is awesome but the sticky tab holders sent with it are useless and don't stick to anything. One of the tutorials shows magnet holders which it did not come with. Now something I spent a good amount of money on is just hanging loose in the old alarm box hanging by the wires.

I had a minor issue with a board I installed last December. A replacement was shipped out immediately. I am very pleased with the ability to modernize my old wired system. Using the reliable wired system has the advantage of no battery operated sensors. The best of both worlds.

I brought a house with pre wired and i love konnected, it works perfectly fine.
I didnt have to contact to a profesional installer because i did it all my self with the tutorial on youtube. But i wish it can works with lorex smart security cameras. That i can answer the door from the action tiles and check the rest of my cameras. All my devices in one app that will be great. I can open my garage door, turns lighs, fans on/off from action tiles.. Just missing my doorbell and security cameras :(
