Elie Seroussi was born in Paris in 1958. Growing up in the center or Paris he developed a strong taste for fashion and craftsmanship. He opened his first fashion house, CECILE & JEANNE, in his late twenties, and built it into the well known brand it is today, with 10 boutiques in the prime Paris locations.
Elie raised his three children between the family ranch in Burgundy and the atelier in Paris. His oldest daughter, Natacha, took a keen interest in his work at a young age and showed a strong passion for fashion, the arts, and nature. After completing her studies of the arts Natacha naturally partnered up with her forever mentor and biggest supporter; Elie.
Together Elie and Natacha decided to do things differently. They wanted to create a brand that would combine the essence of who they are and what they believe in. Their products needed to be chic, elegant and modern… as well as environmentally friendly, vegan, and sustainable. They set off to design their first product - bobobark was born.

I want the whole collection!
I bought my first Bebebark on Kickstarter and I was so proud to own it. It was a splurge for me on a student budget but I wanted that chic Parisian flair and to support the independent business using ecological products.
I now have a small purse which really goes with everything (black)- you can dress it up or down and the second strap is super fun.
I also have the traveling bag, which I use as a carry-on. The wheels are super useful and I just always feel like the most stylish traveler. It is the best for short trips via train. All three products photograph and age so well. I have very memorable snapshots of an Italy trip with my mustard Bebebark on my back (using the backpack straps). I could switch it to an over the shoulder strap too.
The entire design is so thoughtful and I watch the new products eagerly, hoping to expand my collection. Thank you!

This is amazing bag! I read on the website that my 15-inch laptop would not fit through the side zipper opening, but it actually does.I love it. The delivery was fast and service was great

The bobobark backpack is outstanding …
I ordered the bobobark backpack in emerald a few weeks ago. What a beauty! And how practical. Having traveled with it, I have nothing but the highest praise for the quality of construction and its many useful features (love the wide open top and pop of orange). And to think that it is made of cork!

Not just a beautiful bag!
Such a beautiful bag and is as well organized and practical as it is beautiful! I’ve had my bobobark for a couple years now. I have the blue and as it patinas the natural cork peaks through and only adds to the charm of this little beauty. It still clips closed nicely, zippers have held up and don’t jam or get stuck. One of the strongest aspects of this bag is its orange interior. Nothing ever gets lost in this bag not only because of the well organized pockets but their signature orange inside lining. Such a brilliant way to handle what is normally a black hole. One last thing, if you ever need to contact them, they’re lovely to deal with! When you treat yourself to this bag, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.

I have several Laflore handbags and have never had any issues with them. The last bag I received however did have a flaw. Once I contacted Laflore they acted quickly and replaced the bag. Excellent response and service. I just bought another bag too!

The best handbag I've ever owned!
I was extremely satisfied to find Laflore Paris: a company using sustainable and ethical materials in their products, and who communicated promptly and clearly with me.

I recieved my emerald green wallet and…
I recieved my emerald green wallet and I love it. I would love to have other colors…I have seen pink in large bags but not ins smaller items….i love it had it for over a year and it still looks great! The cork material is imperfectly perfect and it does move like leather…but I feel better about having it

Six years since kickstarted and counting
I funded the bobobark when it came out on kickstarter back in 2019, with the intention of giving it to my sister as as birthday gift next year. She's really happy with the bag, and is her default bag when she has to meet her clients outside the office. It's been 6 years since she's used the bobobark continuously, and hasn't had an issue with it. Great quality.

What a beautiful and versatile bag
What a beautiful and versatile bag! I don’t often make on-line purchases, but the website and the look and description of the bag got me! I loved the idea that is was fabricated with cork and the warm green color is a favorite shade of mine. Bag is exactly as described and I love it. I’ve had a great experience with the bobobark bag for the past three years. I used it almost every second day as the main bag, both as a professional bag and a going-out bag. I’ve received tons of compliments; people appreciated the craftsmanship and the original style. The bag is unique in that it combines elegance with pragmatic spaciousness. Even when it’s full, it doesn’t look bulky. It emphasises the feminine silhouette, and one can remain professional while feeling feminine.
When the bag got worn out, I ordered it again and will hopefully be able to do that many times in the future, as it has almost become my signature bag in my professional community. I absolutely love it!
I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews. I’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience with the customer service and no delivery issues. One feels it is a small family business, and the responses are very humane and understanding. An experience one hardly finds anywhere else these days!

I get so many compliments about my bag…
I get so many compliments about my bag that I love wearing it. It is filled with so many items that I would not be able to carry otherwise. If there’s an item that I could not go without is my LaFlore purse. It gives me that ability to carry my water bottle, to stay away from drinking bottled water and also all of the accessories I need for my mouth liners, my feminine products and enough room for my book! And, because it’s a backpack the weight is not a problem.

The product is superb
The product is superb. Perfectly functional and stylishly chic. I have the Doquentin and the Babobak. I use the Doquentin every day as it goes from work to evening functions beautifully. The backpack straps as well as the handbag straps are versatile and fit my lifestyle perfectly. The hardware hinges are solid and has definitely had an upgrade on the Doquentin.

Absolutely ADORE these bags
Absolutely ADORE these bags. I have so many. When my collarbone was broken I bought the smaller backpack style. LOVE the ease of La Grande Ronde. Spacious and easy to find things. The long strap holds the bag in place easily on my shoulder. Have a navy one and just bought the emerald green.

Loved by Grandmas, Daughters and Granddaughters Alike!
I’m a grandmother on my fourth Laflore bag now — 2 Bebe Bark, 1 Chou Chou and 1 Grande Ronde— and I love them all. I recently gave the two Bebe Barks to my daughter and granddaughter because they loved them as well. These bags are for women of all ages.
