It took ages for my lamp to be delivered- schoolboy error using Parcelforce Worldwide to deliver it. When it eventually came there was a vital screw missing so the lamp is pretty useless. Extremely disappointed.

Start with positives - prices are very competitive and customer service response to date has been prompt - ok negatives - I ordered two items - the floor lamp delivery has been deferred twice - making the delay in total four weeks (and counting) but again the customer service has been quick to communicate the delay which appears to be a manufacturer not Lampmasters issue - second issue is a lampmaster issue they sent the wrong item - I am in the process of returning it to Germany so they can dispatch the right one - I posted the return on Wednesday and have heard nothing since - so a little apprehensive - I have noted concerns about the Europe/uk plug - tbh the plug supplied by lampmaster solves this issue - I will update this review as the matter proceeds -tbh the purchase process and delivery is longer than I envisaged but take some comfort from the customer service responses to date but not impressed with getting wrong item - hopefully in a couple of weeks these issues will be resolved and the update can be more positive

UPDATE - I recognise that Trustpilot reviews can often be written in the heat of the moment, so I always try to be constructive, balanced and reflective.

As you'll see from my earlier comments, the saga began when Lampmaster sent me the wrong lamp. Mistakes happen, and I was happy to give them the opportunity to put things right. To receive the correct item, however, I first had to return the incorrect lamp to Germany (a point to note this lamp was received in a box with someone phone number scribbled on (not mine) - this become important later on!)

The return was processed and, around three weeks later, the replacement finally arrived. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I discovered that Lampmaster had not simply sent the wrong lamp again—they had sent me the exact same lamp I had returned three weeks earlier. I recognised it immediately because the lamp box still had the handwritten telephone number on the outside, but now it was covered with a sticker stating "Quality Checked". That rather undermined any confidence I had that the replacement had actually been checked before dispatch.

I genuinely try to be fair in my reviews. Most of my ratings are four or five stars because, in my experience, most companies deserve them. On this occasion, however, if half a star were possible, that's what Lampmaster would receive. One star feels generous, but giving none seems unnecessarily harsh—they are trying, just not very successfully.

I cannot recommend Lampmaster based on my experience. If you enjoy buying packing tape, making repeated trips to the Post Office and becoming unexpectedly knowledgeable about post-Brexit shipping to Europe, then perhaps it's the retailer for you. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

Everyone makes mistakes. Sending the wrong product once is unfortunate; sending back the exact same item after three weeks, complete with a "Quality Checked" sticker (which to be honest was a nice touch), suggests more fundamental problems with quality control and customer service. It is an experience I would not recommend.

Beautiful lamp. Took a while to be delivered but worth the wait.

The website was fine and ordering was quite easy but when the item was delivered the packaging was very poor with insufficient packaging to support the items in the box and prevent them from being shocked if shipping handling was rough.
