I'm speechless about comments of being a small business means they tell the truth and call & spade a spade and 'Joey' doesn't even understand a Consumers Rights under the 2015 Act!

Current situation is:

1. Issued Laptop Station with a 14 day 'letter before action'.

2. Once the above is/isn't replied to a small claims case will be opened as we're at a stalemate.

Facts are: (purchased on 13 July 26)
Laptop arrived with no issues apart from a mouse going faulty a (replaced FOC)

Laptop loaded fine and was able to search via Google etc with no issues.

However, the 2nd time I used it (a few days later) wanted me to set up a password (with no username) to get access so I did so.

Next time I logged in the password didn't work and two 'log in' icons appeared on the bottom left of the screen.
Contacted 'Joey' and he told me a reset but it was 'hit & miss', it was a miss!

Given all the above I asked for an exchange or refund but 'Joey' wanted to charge me £35 to relist the item and then to also pay for the return P&P.

The laptop was only £189 but its no longer about the money (Currys will fix the issue for £45!) but 100% about a matter of principle so we can let the small claims court decide after I've issued them with a 14 day 'letter before action' yesterday.

Chromebook as new and price is significantly reduced. Quick delivery. Great buy.

I reached out to customer service and Joey was very informative answering all my questions. He let me know when the laptops with the specification I was after were restocked which was very helpful as I was able to purchase my laptop.
The laptop is in great working condition and arrived clean and fully charged which I appreciate. For the price I have definitely gotten my moneys worth and I’m glad to finally have a working laptop again.

My refurbished Acer Aspire 16 laptop is so performing well and repesents good value for the price. I had a problem the the installed Ability Office software but the helpdesk have sorted this out.
