Allen Samson was amazing!!! I was feeling extremely frustrated that every single person I spoke to kept saying "we'll get back to you" or "let us look into that" but nothing ever happened. Our goal date to go live before our grand re-opening passed and we still didn't hear anything. We had the system on site for two months just sitting on our counter collecting dust. Here comes Allen to the rescue! He was patient and calm, explained everything thoroughly, fixed my concerns INSTANTLY (something no one else was able to accomplish) and understood exactly what I meant. I feel bad for taking up all his time but this was, without a doubt, the most productive 45 minutes I've had to date with this company! I really did intend on just cancelling and returning the product (that I fought my bosses so hard to get in the first place) but Allen became a superhero and Lavu should be grateful for having him and saving a client who they would have lost at the beginning of the phone call. THANK YOU ALLEN!!! You are amazing!

I didn’t know much but he was patient and understanding of what I needed and if he didn’t know the answer he would get someone on the phone for me.

I had Toast, I moved to Lavu because of the price. You get what you pay for. I asked for references. They gave me 2, and both restaurants said they were switching FROM Lavu. I already had the hardware, so I gave them a shot. It has been less than a week, and I am getting rid of this POS (play on words). Horrible support, I have had the system down twice and as I write this I have a bar with 200 people leaving because the installation ruined my internet feed. They say they have great reviews? Please read this one.

I've NEVER had a worse experience with a company. They 100% tell you one thing to sell their product and then do not deliver. Go Live date, no go live team there to support us. Said they had cloud to save transaction to process payment when you're back online. False. Free equipment replacement. False. Somehow no mention of these topics in the contract. They lost all of our gift card AND our loyalty information. We have lost thousands of dollars moving to them. We have lost customers moving to them. Do they care, not even a little.

Any time I call to support, they are very helpful and answer and solve the problem immediately

Honestly I had been having internet issues for months and they were right there with me the whole step of the way assisting and guiding me through it all. Definitely a big help for me

Horrible customer service. Pos system is always failing and continues to update without warning. Customers service outsourcing to India and cannot even understand reps. They illegally took money from my bank accounts without authorization!!! Due to the fact that I chose not to use the pos. I never canceled my account, they took it upon themselves to cancel and withdraw over $2000.00 dollars without any warning. Stay away from this horrible pos company. The absolute worst!!!!!

This is the worst company in the world for POS Systems. Ive had this product in my store for 3 weeks. Out of three weeks its been functional for 1 day. Technical support has 0 knowledge of the products. I was on tje phone for 4 hours with them and they still couldn't connect any of my printers.

Recommendations by Gordon Ramsay about Lavu's abilities in hospitalty/restaurant settings, as well as use in his own restaurants, makes Lavu's POS system a product that you confidently want to bring to the table when choosing a new POS system. We were able to have the system live within one week. The support staff called several times to make sure that there were no glitches in our setup process. This is the best experience we have had from the search for a new system, right up to its full utilization. We would highly recommend that you look at Lavu for you own POS system.

I was a lavu customer for 12yrs. It was a cost effective solution for my small restaurant. It is an archaic system. But I did not need an intricate one. When I started the monthly cost was $40 per month. They then went raised the monthly rate by 400%. I accepted the over $200 a month charge until without warning the cost went to $531 per month. Pure extortion technique to try to get my merchant services. They are an underhanded business run by highly unprofessional ppl…!

If someone has a customer for 12yrs and sees that this customer has not responded and or opened emails from you? Would one be curious as to why? Maybe they are going to a spam folder? I want to keep this customer so I might give them the courtesy of a phone call. To see if they are receiving my communications. Maybe I am being lazy and have over automated my system and it’s time to actually take the effort to pick up a phone? Maybe I can keep this customer’s business by talking to them about our new services?

Nope let’s argue with the customer instead after stealing their money. That seems like a better solution. In fact let’s play a childish game and cut their service before a busy weekend. So we can screw them in the process.
