Wish I could give 0 stars! The most disorganised bunch of amateurs I have ever dealt with. Please steer clear if you can.

Leaders handled the end of tenancy checkout process efficiently using their on line system The Depository.
Throughout the whole process Eliza Gent our property manager kept us upto date on discussions with the tenants. She successfully reached agreement with the tenants on what were valid deductions and this was all completed within a week of the tenants vacating the property. We were pleased with the service Eliza gave us during this process.

I had been renting a town house in Bedford through Leaders with my girlfriend for about a year when the ceiling collapsed in the spare room in the middle of the night. We contacted Leaders right away, and they sent someone round to hammer 2 rough bits of plywood (about 1cm thick) over the hole a couple of days later. We assumed this was a temporary solution, but when we contacted them to ask when it would be properly fixed they offered no further support. We said we felt unsafe in the property as no checks were done to check if any other parts of the ceiling would collapse, but they did not send anyone round. We decided to move out and asked to end the tenancy one month early, but they refused, despite the contract saying that you could break tenancy early if the house is not fit to live in.

In the end, we spent 3 months living under a ceiling with a hole in it and were offered no support or compensation apart from 2 bits of plywood, hammered into the rotting rafters. As we left, we tried to save some money by cleaning the house ourselves, but as we hadn't had it professionally cleaned they charged us £280. We spent 2 months asking them to at least drop this last bill, given what had happened. What did they do? Of course they refused, and said if we were unhappy about it we could take them court. We couldn't afford to gamble on litigation costs, so what could we do?

Leaders made us feel on our own, showed no sympathy to our situation, and it felt like they were just trying to do as little as they could while getting as much out of us as possible.

Very thorough and detailed, incredibly patient fielding all of my questions! So far it has been a very good experience moving with Leaders.

Eliza was really helpful and tried to help where she could.

Eliza is always extremely happy to help with any problems I have, she handles all queries with enthusiasm and always gets the job done.

Leaders property management company with Eliza being my property manager. She is a very good Property manager who provides excellent customer care to my tenant, likewise in managing my property. It goes a long way in this present hard economic climate, ensuring my tenant has no issues and my property is well maintained.

Eliza has been great and gone above and beyond to help me during my time as a tenant. Thank you, I really appreciate everything you've done to help.

Avoid at all costs. Find any excuse to withhold your deposit and will screw every penny that can out of you. Also the staff in the Bedford office who I had the misfortune to deal with were rude arrogant and a disgrace to this industry

Poor service. Seemed to be little interest in trying to sell my property. Sporadic responses to my emails and photos not updated when requested several times - blamed on IT issues at Rightmove!
Moved the property to a different agent.

Nice people and ready to help. The flat that I rented from them it was clean and in a good condition. Sophie Pond helped me with all of the papers work, in future i will definetely rent again from Leaders

Eliza has been absolutely brilliant as my property manager, she is highly efficient in her role and when I have had a major issue she has left no stone unturned to get a resolution for me.

Eliza has empathy whilst remaining professional at all times and kept her promises to keep me in the loop with what was happening, in the past this hasn't always been the case under other agencies but Eliza and Leaders really have shown me what a good Estate Agency look like.

Terrible customer service, we were tenants. Our landlord refused to maintain the property for 2 years of tenancy. We complained to leaders through out the tenancy about leaks from a bathroom through the sealing and the roof showing mould and paint chipping off. The landlord kept trying to put our rent up. Leaders didn’t communicate and we’re happy for the landlord to be a rogue landlord, we have left the property and the landlord has tried to hit us with a £2000 bill part of this is water damage from the leak they refused to fix. Leaders seem to think this is ok. Would never rent from them again and would avoid them at all costs, the stress has been unbearable for our family

My sale has taken over 6 months. The major issue I have is that when the Sales Manager explained that another set of solicitors would have to be involved due to the buyers solicitors not being on the lenders panel, He assured me that despite this the sale would not be delayed more than a few weeks. This was at the end of May and I finally exchanged in late August. Every month it was promised that exchange would take place from Leaders. If they would have been honest in May I would have remarketed the property. Also it took a long time for the buyer to secure finance and from my experience of selling and buying, estate agents job is to conduct due diligence and not wait until I had to badger them non stop to tell me that the finance was delayed again and again. No due diligence here whatsoever and misleading on timescales. My experience was extremely stressful and 100% would tell others to avoid using you.
