They got the tenancy length wrong, which delayed the move-in date. Lots of mould on move-in. They didn't know the heating was pre-paid until I investigated and told them. Hidden charges left, right and centre.

Generally, it was hard to tell if they were consciously deceiving me, or just being neglectful.

I feel a lot happier knowing my rental property is being managed by tikal, leaving me confident this was the right decision to use leader's.

Tikal has been my Property Manager for some years, and is always easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, well organised, and actions any problems quickly and efficiently.

Tikal has by far been the best property manager I've had for my rental property. She's responsive and very helpful. Thank you.

Thank you Tikal for your patience and help in negotiating a share of work between our own house and one managed by Leaders..It was quite complicated but we were pleased with the outcome.

Tikal has given us exceptional service in managing the response to a water leak in our property and dealing with the insurance claim for damage to our neighbours property.

I spoke to and worked with Amy a lovely person she even wished me a happy birthday it didn’t work out because leaders didn’t have any rooms that were affordable enough for my price range but Amy’s lovely service made it worth it, so polite, cheerful and sweet although it wasn’t made clear to me that my deposit wasn’t going to be given back to me which I’m not super happy about

Proceed at your own risk. Would give 0 stars if I could! Tenancy was an absolute joke, and tried to scam you at every oppertunity. Rented a property which was not fit for purpose, which was supposed to be a professional house share but there were nightmare tenants smashing up the property, taking drugs and having loud parties, property broken into due to poor security broken items and furniture, left without heating for weeks, would refuse to fix any issues, and are now trying take my full deposit.!Such a poorly orgnaised agency - on a seperate property, made me pay a 'holding deposit' for a viewing, but then could not organise a viewing, messing us about and then would not refund this. I would strongly advise against leaders, despite allowing them many chaches to make things right, they have proceeded to make my life hell for the past two years. Bertie, Katie, Nic, Sarah, Amy, all seem nice on the phone but are not prepared to do anything to help me. I would not wish for my worst enemy to go through an expeirence like I've been through with Leaders. Hope pictures speak for themselves, avoid.

The team were quick to get my application through and the portal is very clear and easy to navigate. Although there are many steps in the process, I appreciate that it has been straightforward to follow.

We moved into our student property in September 2023, and were shocked to discover that the property was not in the condition agreed upon in the Tenancy Agreement. We have repeatedly asked for the garden to be trimmed and cleared of rubbish (including a shopping trolley and a skateboard) and have been reassured time and time again by our property manager, Nic. However, it has been 5 weeks since the start of our tenancy and no action has been taken. It is so unacceptable to be paying for an unusable, overgrown garden and shed, and to have to look at someone else’s debris. I would not recommend this company, and I am really disappointed with my experience.

After 8 years as tenants forking out more than £100k in rent payments STILL trying to get flood damage repaired THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED 8 YEARS AGO. Then another flood and another flood and each time landlord submits a claim, gets paid our and NOTHING EVER REPAIRED.

The only reason we remain is for location convenience and disability access at property - nothing more/nothing less.

Every few months the usual spurious rubbish of "we will send someone" to do a quote - and that where it ends, revolving door of potential contractors, revolving door of fake promises of resolution, revolving door of idiot staff spewing spurious lies.

What these moronic "self obsessed and misguided deluded self important opinion" staff fail to remember is that without clients like us they would not have a job.

Find a different agency to rent from is my advice - be warned of your time being wasted and your money being taken.

Property management - tenant experience

My experiences with Leaders Cambridge"s property management team, specifically Tikal, have been increasingly positive.

After several years of renting the property and facing some unpleasant experiences in the past (which is why I rated the experience 4 stars instead of 5), I now have been allocated a property manager who is dedicated to and good at their job.

Tikal has is always responsive to my concerns and is quick in resolving any issues that have arisen. Tikal is knowledgeable, fast, kind and flexible, and seems to be taking the responsibilities of managing a property seriously.
