Leaders - Manchester Reviews 

I would strongly advise against using Leaders, my partners daughter who is 19 started Uni in September last year, having to take the lease on in July. We moved her in with 5 other tenants in September, so 2 months rent with not living at the premises. When we arrived at the premises, rubbish everywhere, half empty cans of drink, filthy walls, minging shower, cooker didn't work, fridge stunk, mould on the ceilings. To name but a few issues, as time has gone on, the heating has failed, the ceiling in her room leaked, there was actual fungi growing in her room. Eventually she has managed to resolve some of the issues. For whatever reason she is now one month behind with her rent. Now they threaten legal proceedings against both her and me for non payment of one months rent to date. Needless to say they don't give a crap about all the issues she has encountered, just want the money. I truly find Leaders a despicable business with very poor values, and a very substandard business model. Stay well away. Looking at the reviews, I bet I get that standard....we are sorry for your experience....customer service is always important to us...... LIES...

Recently rented a flat through Leaders and it immediately started on a positive note with someone actually answering the phone when I rang as opposed to a previous letting agency I dealt with. Everything was seamless and we were taken care of very well initially by Joe on the phone then Fleur who showed us the flat and helped us through all our doubts and concerns and finally by Aditi who helped us get the final contract and documentation sorted.
Overall a very positive experience and I would recommend 😊

When I was applying for a house I encountered some issues with the initial referencing section of the application. The team was helpful with all of my queries and after a couple of emails, we managed to get everything sorted. Special notice to Aditi who reassured me that my application was finally processed; she replied immediately within 3 minuetes of my first email!

The agency showed me a smelly, dirty apartment!!!!! which is not suitable for living. The apartment was horrible 🤢, I had to leave and throw up. The agency insulted me and violated my dignity!!!!! I do not recommend!!!!!!!!The apartment on Constans Garden Salford M5 - not recommended!!!!!!!

It has now been two years since I have been trying to resolve a payment issue with Leaders Manchester but as it’s me who’s waiting for the payment they just can’t be bothered. They promise to resolve but then take zero action. After endless chasing I’ve come to terms with not getting paid but felt urged to write this review to make others aware.

I was shown around by Mechack who is referred to in all the 5 star reviews who was helpful. After signing you are then passed around everyone and are bombarded with emails. We had our move in date pushed back and our primary contact didn’t even realise all our checks hadn’t been done 24 hours prior to move in. Upon moving in we found debris including drugs, cigarettes, gas lighters, glass etc, soiled furniture, stained mattresses, leaks, faulty appliances. The place was a mess, the company were dismissive and claimed all checks had been completed but had to quickly change their attitude upon photographic evidence being provided. The second tenant was given no keys on arrival and still has none as of yet, for a 2 bed shared property. The letting agency claims no responsibility, as with everything else. AVOID

This estate agency aren't interested in contacting you with issues you've raised as a Landlord, but as soon as you start looking round at new agencies they're quick to call you up! Even the head office down London called me!! Quite frankly, a company that couldn't care less, they just want your money. I'll be giving them notice and moving my property to a better agency.

Mechack was a great agent who inspired us to rent the property within 6 hours!

Had a really great experience with Leaders last week when property hunting for my daughter. The young man that gave us our view was friendly, funny and very professional in conducting the house tour. Unfortunately the poperty was not right for us but we are already looking for the next viewing. Hopefully with Meshack again!

I'm so furious with leaders. They do not care at all about their tenants. We reported issues with the property multiple times during our tenancy, none of which were acknowledged or attended to. Towards the end of our tenancy we lived without a fridge for 2 months because they simply didn't care. It has now been almost 3 months since we left that property and I have just had to submit a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to have our deposit returned even though it had been cleared. I tried contacting them multiple times to no avail.

It is clearly to me what is going on here -- all they care about is profit, their staff are overstretched, they don't care about the client's experience. They just want to make money.

Careless, inhuman, arrogant. Not a single positive thing to say.
