They were very helpful with letting me know about what was going on behind the scenes so I didn't have to worry about anything during the process

Every part of the moving process was straightforward and efficient. They are responsive and accommodating.

Having to deal with these people has made me ill, I can't find the words to say how bad they are. A friend kindly helped me move & sorted out my belongings & bills, everything was cleaned, keys handed in etc etc. 2 months they still have not sent back the deposit even though they have emailed to say it is coming.

I would give a 0 star review if I could. We haven’t even moved into the property yet but the issues have already begun. First they did not tell us the details of where to send the money so we contacted them to find out and received the details, 14 days after the first payment was due they email us with their bank details which is ridiculous enough and then the reference number on it is different to the one we were initially told. We receive a follow up email saying they haven’t got our money and can we send proof of payment we send that and receive no response, I follow up and no response. A week after the initial email we get an email threatening to evict us for lack of payment. The communication from them is awful, feels like they’re just trying to scam us because we are students. I would recommend no one use them.

Really tragic company. Useless communication, never fixed any problems with my flat. Don't think they care about people at all.

Update: the delay in response to this (over a year) really sums it up!

Kirsty & Dominic were really helpful towards myself and my friend moving into our flat for our final year of university. They were quick to respond to any emails we sent them or any phone calls, and helped guide us through the (sometimes confusing) process. Would recommend!

Holly is very amazing, she has made this whole process very easy.

Had to pull out last minute because of change of circumstances, but holly dealt with us so professionally and was literally on it, anything you asked she’d find out and get back to you and was very polite! Leaders are lucky to have you gal, keep going!

This is truly one of the most inept companies I've ever had to deal with. I've been a tenant with them for two years in Manchester, and during this time, they have failed to remedy even the most simple jobs in their remit as intermediaries.
We've had issues with broken lights (not fixed for ~six months), broken white goods (fridge, microwave) and a complete lack of efficacy demonstrated by their 'Senior Letting Agent' to get anything done. Upon reporting a fault with the lighting we were told to 'contact the electrician yourself' - basically, giving us a project to deal with whilst they do whatever they're doing all day (very little by the looks of things).
We've lived in various Manchester flats during the previous 15 years or so, and experienced nothing like this. The complete absence of action or urgency about anything is absolutely breathtaking.
My honest opinion of the situation is that the Senior Leadership at the Manchester office should resign - they're employing managers who cannot fix problems or get their trades people to fix anything. She is very good at self promotion, but very poor at getting her people to get things done on behalf of the tenants.
The person in charge of our account shall remain nameless - but I wouldn't trust her to make a cup of coffee. She is absolutely inept and again, should go and find something else to do in the World, since she is completely incapable of managing anything with regards to agency work.
In closing, the message is clear - avoid Leaders Manchester at all costs. Anything that breaks will not be attended to until you make yourself ill with stress; the whole office is a 'Potemkin Village'. Nothing but the illusion of property management supported by an inept office staff.

Great communication and help where they can! Have a lot of connections such as insurance cover or virgin media that they send links to as well as a recommendation. Good for people with very little experience renting like me.

Leaders have been great - moving is so often stressful, but it hasn't been this time round. Dom was very friendly during the early stages, great telephone manner. Kirsty has been perfect during the moving stages, helpful and informative.
