I got a good rate, it was easy to consolidate my federal student loans, and it's easy to make payments and see how far I have to go. The extra percentage off for auto-payments is nice, too.

LendKey poorly represents the underwriting creditability of major credit unions that are advertising low private student loan rates online. I've never had an issue qualifying for the lowest advertised rates ever on any type of credit loans but for some unexplainable reason I can't through LendKey's underwriting specialists even with an 800+ credit score and making over 6 figures a year. I've been in the lending business for a long time so if you have excellent credit and great income save yourself from making a credit inquiry on your credit because LendKey won't honor the credit unions advertised low rates since they make the final loan decision.

Quick, easy, and effective. All I had to do was fill out the applications and send it the proper documents. They were able to cut my term in half, lower my APR by 3.5%, all while keeping my payments the same

LendKey was an excellent choice for me, they provided an ease of comparing loan rates, clear application, and great communication via email through the process.

When I refinanced, I initially accepted with LendKey because I was under the impression it was a fixed rate. Turns out that was not correct and now it has been steadily increasing every three months, I am not in the double digits of interest rates when I only accepted this refinancing because of the lower interest rates than my previous loan. Over the first year with them I paid over $12,000 and my loan only decreased by $3,000. Recently, I returned to school and went to request an in school deferment. The only option they provide is a forbearance which can only take place up to 18 months (shorter than the period I will be in school), and you are still expected to make some kind of monthly contribution to the loan. I feel as if though it will be impossible to pay off this loan ever with the continual increases in rates. I left Sallie Mae for this company because I thought the experience would be better, I was wrong.

I had a bill due, and no notice was given. I got a call from a rep, but they wouldn't even say what it was regarding and just ask for sensitive information with no guarantee who it was.

I sure hope this isn't how you regularly conduct business. I would expect a call and an explanation, but won't hold my breath.

LendKey was great. Any time I called for clarification, my call was answered quickly and the representatives were very helpful. I've been trying to refinance my student loans for years and the rates have either been higher than I already paid or I was declined due to the size of my loans. How are you supposed to lower your debt if the rates are impossibly high? LendKey was amazing and now I can make some real headway.

I am happy to be able to reconsolidate my loans BUT i had to do the application process 4 times over the phone before LendKey was able to get it right. the information transfer between them and credible was awful. Even after talking with them on the phone they still submitted the wrong loan and i had to get it redacted just for them to submit the same loan again. what should have been a month long process took almost 3.

Questions were answered thoroughly and made me feel confident in my decision to refinance my other student loans and saving tons of money in the process. Highly recommend.

If I ever have any questions it is very easy to get in touch with someone and they can always answer my questions. I originally refinanced my loan in 2017 and then again when rates went down in 2020, an overall great experience.

Ease of applying and autopay with interest rate deduction incentive.

December of 2022 I called customer service and asked when I could get the cosignor/myself off the loan. I was informed of 12 consecutive payments. Here we are in January 2024,now they're stating I have to make 24 consecutive payments. They can't a supervisor on the phone fast enough!!
