Sketchy at best
I am the cosigner for my daughters loan. I have a regular income (employee) and submitted the W2's (had 2 different jobs last year). Have another income and submitted the 1099 (side consulting job). My regular income alone would have addressed the requirement for the loan but now they need 3 years of detailed tax returns. Sounds like they are data mining personal information.

The loan I requested was not given
The loan I requested was not given. I had asked for an overpayment to be able to pay off other bills but this could not be done. Very disappointed as in the past refinancing I was able to have this done.

This was by far the easiest process…
This was by far the easiest process I've ever done. It was so quick and not hard to navigate. I really needed my interest rate lower and I needed to get my co-signer off, I did both of those through LendKey. I am so thankful and excited to pay lower and less overtime.

Better rate, not the easiest process
I came to LendKey immediately after going most of the way through the ReFi process with another widely-known student loan ReFi company - stopping short of signing on the X. The process at the other company was incredibly easy - just minutes and a few little inputs and it was time to sign. But I worried that it was too easy - it made me double back and make sure there wasn't somewhere I could get a better rate. I'm glad I took a second look. LendKey got me over 1% improvement in rate, saving thousands. The "problems," I had were likely less related to LendKey and more to do with the Credit Union that it linked me with for the actual loan. They were surprisingly slow - so slow that it made me a little anxious about the process. My wife worked for a CU before though so I knew this was kinda normal. The submission process here was very manual and gave me opportunities to make mistakes, totally unlike the competitor. Finally, the rate I ultimately got was 0.25% higher than expected. The initial quote was 2.95%, with additional 0.25% discount for auto-pay. In the end, my rate with auto-pay was 2.95%. Oh well, still much better than the original rate I was so close to signing up for.

This was a very painless process with a short timeframe. Lendkey allowed me to refinance my student loans with a reasonable payment plan and fixed rate that won't change even with the reduction of my cosigner. Overall great experience.
