Recent Drastic Decline. Until recently, I would have given Lendkey a 5star rating, for me the application process was great, payments were reasonable and principal pay down was great benefit of a lower interest rate. However, as of December there appears to be a 2 weeks delay in processing of checks. During which time they mark the account as past due and send emails just in time to say never mind as the check is finally processed. I contacted customer service and basically they said that unless the check is cashed its presumed not received. So I send a check on time, but because they haven't cashed it, its my fault? Unbelievable. I now will be switching services as I no longer trust this company.

Real easy to switch over. FANTASTIC rates as opposed to Sallie Mae. Reconciliation is the greatest thing to do for a bulk of different loans with horrible interest rates. The process is simple as long as you have the needed information abs their team works fast to respond to what is needed/pending.

Take my advice took a little longer to process than competitors but results saved me tens of thousands. Lower interest rate leads to Ning savings. All done online and could not be more pleased

The notification to refinance my student loan was greatly appreciated. Saved me over 1% with the refinance. The whole process took less than 2 days since I had my documents available to provide the lender.

LendKey sure asked a lot of questions and needed quite a bit of information but in the end came through with an amazing offer with a fantastic apr. They knocked my payments down by almost 1/2 and saved me more than 1/2 of the finance charges I would have paid in the long term.

Lendkey was always very responsive and professional about handling my loans. They made the experience very streamlined and took the fear out of making monthly payments. It was also extremely easy to refinance and change up my loans as well!

Seems like a scam to me. I had to contact LendKey 5 different times to resolve problems on my application. Each time a new representative told me something new to submit. After submitting all the documents they requested, I was still not approved and called and emailed LendKey to discover why, after sending them all my information, I was still not approved. No email or phone representative attempted to explain why this was happening or try to assist me. Instead, they just canceled my application altogether. Not willing to work with their customers.

Easy experience and got a great rate - super helpful

Great experience overall. However, I give 4 stars because I could not refinance my loan sooner due to "income too low", which allowed me to stay at a higher interest rate while continuing to make my payments on time
