Life Ledger is a really useful platform when dealing with a bereavement
A bereavement is difficult to handle, so much admin involved on top of the emotional burden, Life Ledger made it easy to contact multiple companies that needed to be notified, and having a record of the progress of application to each company was really helpful. There were regular and clear instructions and updates. A really good service.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is very stressful this free service takes away the need to keep contacting the different organisations. Much like the government "Tell Us Once" it helps keep track of who you have notified and if it has been actioned.

The one-stop shop for notifying a bereavement
Having one place to notify multiple organisations has removed the pain point of having to contact them individually. Plus it completely removes the need to continually adjust to each organisations different process for registering a bereavement. I highly recommend using Life Ledger!

Incredibly efficient and great value
This was a totally different experience to doing the same process myself without using Life Ledger a couple of years ago.
The biggest hurdle was deciding to actually use the service but everything after that has been excellent.
I uploaded various essentials, like the death certificate, and then selected the companies I wanted to notify. For each provider I completed the specific information they require eg. the mobile phone number and if I wanted to cancel or transfer the contract to another family member. There's an option to save the notification if you don't have all the information to hand. It's very quick.
Most providers didn't need to contact me and processed the notification automatically within a couple of days. I've had no time on hold on the phone and haven't needed to take time off work or lose my lunch breaks.
Although I haven't needed customer support I had an almost immediate response when looking for an unlisted provider, which seems positive.
The receipt came through on email which is useful.

What a brilliant service Life Ledger is. It make life so much simpler and less stressful when trying to contact a loved ones bill providers and any companies that they are registered with to inform them of a death. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Simple process to notify death of a family member
This is a very simple process of notifying companies of a death, without having lots of back and forwards with the death certificate (so far so good anyway)

I found it very easy to use and communicate. I was kept informed of actions and where companies wanted to communicate with me directly, I was made aware of them in timely fashion. Funeral Director recommended Life…
Funeral Director recommended Life Ledger as a free service. Trouble is it isn't free, it costs £19.
In the meantime I was suckered into sending lots of personal information including death certificate. When I try to delete it, I can't because there's a server error!
No way to close account on the website, have to contact them.
Basically the whole thing is set up to be as misleading and difficult to get out of as possible whilst taking money from grieving families.
