Worst company ever! Would give zero starts if I could.
Ebay offered to give me a full refund and keep the sofa but like an idiot I decided to trust lincotes and believe they wanted to correct THEIR mistake however months and months go by, my emails and calls go unanswered and ignored and when I finally hear back they tried to blame me for their mistake. Never got my money back or the correct order and stuck with a sofa I didn't want.

Not even worth 1 star! Have taken them to court because a seam had not been stitched properly leading to a large hole in the recliner. I had ordered in April, delivery was in November, tear appeared beginning of December. Despite daily emails, only about 1 in 10 was answered. I tried to get my money back, but because they had taken sooo long to deliver it was not possible. Took them to small claims court and won(he agreed to mediation then didn’t pay) he now has a CCJ against him, although all court correspondence is sent back saying “gone away”! What a nasty piece of work, took the money and ran. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!!!

Ordered sofas took about 3 months .. then cushions were missing , rang over 50 times and emailed rumours times … had no response .. awful quality sofa as well !!! Have nails sticking out and cushions are awful .. DO NOT ORDER !!
Awful communication , I saved to buy this and I am really disappointed…

I have an ongoing saga with this company. It is similar to other people's recent experiences here on Trustpilot but it spans over a year. I first ordered two sofas in the Autumn of 2022, expecting them to arrive in time for Christmas. The first hitch was a foam shortage so I didn't receive my sofas until late February, 2023. I didn't need them at that point until May, but on unwrapping them I found that the two-seater was riddled with faults. Because I was now outside of the time-frame for Ebay to help me, I resorted to asking the company to repair the faulty sofa. It is SO difficult to get a response from these people! They ignore telephone messages, they ignore emails (unless threatened with official/legal action) and they ignore letters. Eventually, after threatening them by email with the Consumer Rights Sale of Goods Act 2015, they agreed to collect the faulty sofa and repair it. It was eventually collected, but that was September 2023 and they HAVE NOT RETURNED IT! On advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau I sent them a formal letter on 22nd November, but ......of course, they didn't reply. They now have my money (£439) and my sofa. Doubtless, they think that I have forgotten and have given up. I am indeed very weary of this saga and, as a busy person, I have not chased this up since I sent the letter, but if they think they've got away with this, they are mistaken. I detest scammers and they are messing with the wrong person!!

absolute rubbish sofas on reserching they are not real leather but bonded leathern which is about the same thickness as a clgarette paper after complaing for the best part of 2 years and sending in photos on request its gone down the local tip avoid at all costs

shambles! 15 year guarantee ! what guarantee? one year and they still have not fixed the faulty sofa they sold us that broke after 4 months. I have taken them to court and they still did not respond! steer clear at all costs.

Purchased a footstool on the 17th November via there website. The company is a SCAM avoid. There phoneline doesn't work and don't expect to receive any goods. I have emailed them over 10 times and no reply. Its almost like the company is a dormant company. Don't take my word for it, try and call them. It is just an automated number which says email them and they will respond in 24 hours. Absolute rubbish!!!

Placed an order for a sofa early October. Quoted 4-8 weeks delivery. Fair enough. It passed the delivery window weeks ago now. I’ve contacted them multiple times by email, Facebook messenger and yet not a single response.

Their phone lines only have a recorded message saying they are busy (since October???) and to contact them via email and they will respond within 24 hours.

THEY DO NOT RESPOND. EVER.

We will make a chargeback on our credit card this week as it’s clearly a scam company.

Note: this is the abbreviated version of events!

1st set of sofas: both 2 & 3 seater were 15cm smaller than size on website, wrong colour blue and longer than stated delivery time. Delivery co. wouldn't take back. No apology given.

2nd set of sofas: had to order different style as first style no longer available in advertised sizes, promised would be right colour but had to wait for colour to be restocked. Unbelievably, then told these were also a different size to what quoted. We agreed to new size but when finally arrived still wrong colour and addressed to another customer - so think they'd been returned and then given to us! Given it was 5 months later we decided to keep them despite not being the blue we wanted as clearly we weren't going to get them in the right colour. We also had to battle to get our old sofa's taken away.

Lincotes said in writing once we'd had received the sofas they compensate us for all the errors and inconvenience etc. However, they either did not reply to emails or on the rare occasion they did respond they constantly ignored the issue - totally despicable and dishonest.

If I could give no stars I would. Sofa arrived after 5 months, was the wrong colour and of poor quality - stitching was coming apart. We returned the item to their warehouse and am still waiting for a refund some 4 months later. Am still waiting for the cheque that was in the post some 3 months ago.

rubbish service mum has waited 8 weeks for item emailed and phoned to get nothing-not answered and shes still recieved nothing --waste of time do not use if you value your cash and sanity

4 YEARS ON and we can confirm that we bought Nuvola sofas from Simply Stylish Sofas . Now that we look at the site again we see that they are advertised as bonded leather. Back then we mistakenly thought that we were buying leather. The price was right for leather and the only small printed reference that we can find from that time reads 'Nuvola..... Dark Grey Leather Sofas'
Please check out bonded leather definition because this particular material , in this case gradually started to disintegrate after about 3 years. Right now after just 4 short years these sofas are something of a mess. We have got to buy new and cannot pass them to a charity.
Also , when we got them 4 years ago we asked for fire test labels ( which were not attached to ours )--they were promised but never did arrive.
We are disappointed.

Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering, we ordered 2 sofas as we have just moved house and invited all our family over, we'll now have nowhere to sit so thanks a lot! The phone always goes to a recorded message sending you to their site or email address, tried to contact them via both but they have failed to reply.

Do not use this company, they do not reply to any communication. I had to ask the credit card company to step in and refund my money. I would imagine they are about to fold and are trying to take as many peoples money with them on their way out. Worst customer service I have every experienced.

Stay clear of this company.
I ordered a sofa and matching chair on 29th July 2023. To date (29th November 2023) I have not received the furniture or had my money returned.
They kept me amicably engaged with hopeful messages until my guarantee period with eBay had expired, then strung me along with bogus reassurances until I eventually gave up on 12th November, said that they had broken their contract with me and asked for an immediate refund. Needless to say, I haven’t heard from them since.
They cited earlier manufacturing problems for the delay in my order while continuing to attract new customers with 4 to 5 week delivery estimates on their products; this despite mine, 15 weeks post order still not having made it off the production line!
My only option now is trading standards and although I understand that they may investigate it seems that there is little hope of my recouping my loss of over £800.
Unfortunately I don't think I’m alone…

Ordered on 31st July 2023 still not arrived. Unable to contact, never answer the phone and never reply to messages. Had a random message being shipped in on 16th November still nothing about delivery. Lucky I paid with PayPal. Il give them a week then putting in a refund

I purchased my sofa through eBay on the 27th of August 2023 as of today it being the 16th of November 2023 I have not received my sofa which was estimated at 6 to 7 weeks
I have phoned and got an automated answer service I have emailed and also contacted them through eBay as of yet no response
At my wits end trying to contact them

Sofa ordered in March this year with an expected delivery of 4 to 6 weeks. Sofa eventually arrived 16 weeks later (July 17) but was the wrong size. Lincotes undertook to make a new sofa of the correct size. It was delivered after a lot of chasing by message and phone on August 24, right size, wrong style. Lincotes said they would remake the sofa cushions. I asked them to do this speedily as I had been waiting since March for my sofa. As of today October 15 I still do not have the correct cushions for the sofa. Lincotes have had over £1000 of my money since March. Lincotes have a cavalier attitude to my money and my welfare.

Suite arrived , one seat had a part missing , after a lot of messaging we got there in the end , the quality of the product is great , looks very nice

What an amazing company. Was made to feel like I was their only customer. Changed my mind on style and colour and they couldn’t have been nicer answering my messages extremely quickly. They contacted every step of the way from sale/production and delivery. The product ( I bought a 2 seater and cuddle chair in black velvet) was of a very high standard and looked a much more expensive sofa than I paid for. A young dynamic team with an old fashioned approach to customer service where they will do their utmost to help. I can’t praise this company enough and have already recommended to friends and family. Keep up the good work!
