We ordered a large 4 seater and an armchair. Delivery was speedy and on time. Great communication throughout the purchase process!

This is a family run business, who really have that personal touch. Having read some of the reviews I can only think these may be malicious reviews from competitors. We really need to support small business during these tough times

We had a sofa from lincotes this month and we are beyond happy with the quality and the service from the staff was amazing. Stress free process from start to finish would highly recommend!

We have a 4 seater and a large arm chair from here in a beautiful blue colour. There was a vast range of colours, it was hard to decide, but we’re very happy with our choice. The sofas are SO comfy and our dog has claimed the arm chair as his. Thankfully they are easy to clean and de-hair. We had an excellent service from this family run business. Couldn’t recommend enough.

As a regular customer of DFS over the years, I was pleased to find this local family run business for our next suite. Great choice, great prices along with fab customer service.

I ordered 2 x 3 seaters via Ebay in early July 2022. Delivery was to be within 4 weeks. Nothing happened, no calls, no attempt to communicate with the customer. I rang in late August and was informed that the sofas were coming from China and the container and shipment was delayed due to Covid Lockdowns in China. I paid an additional sum for removal of my old sofas during this call. The lady who answered was sweet so I did not cause a fuss. I was informed the sofas would be delivered by the end of September 2022. Again, no delivery and no communication. I tried calling Lincotes and their new policy is not to take calls but instead reply via their website contact form. I did this twice and got a return e-mail after 48 hours stating that the new container will be here in the first week of November 2022 and I should be contacted soon by their agent. Alas nothing.
I am sure they are a lovely company but their service is poor and I have not received the sofas which were paid in full to date. Will they arrive, who knows? Will they be in good order or as specified? who knows. This is the first ever Trust Pilot review I have ever undertaken and reflects the depth of frustration at using this supplier. It may not be indicative of the company but if you read this, you may wish to reflect before purchasing.

I bought 2 x 2 seater lincotes Kassel sofas from this company. They arrived damaged and the seat cushions were all different in firmness. I purchased them via Ebay. When Lincotes were advised I had opened a dispute with Ebay they contacted me asking me to cancel it. Thankfully I did not. They said they would resolve the issues, but did nothing. The sofas are very poorly made. Lincotes state they are made in Wales in the UK. but then stated that they were waiting for my replacement cushion infills to be shipped into the UK. I believe these sofas are imported, possibly made cheaply in China. Their customer service and aftercare is non existent. Avoid this company at all costs. I won my dispute with Ebay and then received threatening, slanderous and harassing emails from them. I was accused of theft etc. Whatever you do, do not buy from this company.

An excellent family run business with good communication and an extra personal touch. And free delivery! A good range of different style & size sofas with large ones that break down so if you live in a flat with big rooms but a tight hallway no problem! Staff couldn't be helpful enough providing extra information and photos demonstrating different options/layouts - Jonathan & Jennifer were star brand ambassadors! Honestly cannot recommend this company enough 🤩

Lovely quality furniture and excellent customer service.
Highly recommended.

Update 17/05/2023:-
So, rather than address the issue or respond to our emails, Lincotes have waited nearly a year and then tried to remove this review by flagging it to Trust Pilot as 'unrecognised'.
Now thats a sneaky move that sums them up nicely.

Update following no response from Lincotes 19/07/22:-
Sadly and as suspected, no response has been recieved to our last email sent 29/06. Its safe to say any response on Trust Pilot for any low reviews is purely damage limitation by Lincotes - to prevent loss of any future business from potentially new customers.
This is a lesson learned and I can only warn people thinking of buying a sofa from here that they should spend their money at a more reputable company. You might pay 2 or 3 times more but at least the quality and life of the sofa will reflect this.
The sofa we purchased was made from 'bonded leather'. As we now have lots of flaking leather, tears at seams etc ive been looking into potential DIY repairs. Unfortunately, during this research which didnt take long, it turns out that bonded leather will last (at the very most) 3-5 years. Its a shame, a nice sofa upholstered in poor quality material which doesnt have a decent life expectancy.
Please feel free to research 'bonded leather' online. Any reputable company would know that this material is not worth selling. Its no different to a car salesperson knowingly selling a car thats defective. Hopefully this will help anyone looking to buy from here.

Thanks for your response Jennifer. I have asked my husband to email your firm and will be happy to keep this review updated accordingly with any developments.
To clarify, the sofas have NOT been abused, only normal usage by adults.
For the leather to be coming apart at seams and peeling in places after such a short time is very poor. The 3 seater section was replaced in January 2021 and is suffering from the same.

Very poor quality sofas, you get what you pay for with these sofas. Material is coming apart at seams after just under 2 years. Conveniently they only give a one year warranty on the 'bonded leather'.
That's not including the ridiculous time we waited for delivery which was blamed on Covid - Sadly, the money was taken straight away.
Id give 0 stars if it were possible.

Really happy with my new sofa! I purchased one from a national retailer for over £2000, it is nowhere near as comfortable as my Lincote sofa! And it was such a bargain too. Would recommend 😃

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!

I have never left a review on anything, but this company take the absolute P!$$ out of customers.

I bought a sofa from these guys and i have had nothing but problems with it. The build quality is poor and cheap. If you want a sofa that lasts longer than 3 months, please buy else where.

i have had the sofa replaced with a new one, and the same has happened.

I have asked for a refund and been refused. they sent a 3rd party surveyor who agreed that the build quality was poor, but still no refund. they want to repair my sofa AGAIN, and also charge me a fee of £60 for the surveyor to attend again.

They say that i have refused a repair which i have not.

they are complete liars, who treat paying customers like crap.

i will be taking this further as i am not accepting the treatment i have received from them.

I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!

You are full of lies. The first sofa was falling apart. The second sofa is falling apart. Your sofa's are made with poor quality materials, and are not fit for purpose.

Trading standards have been informed and ive also filed a section 75 with your company.

I know my consumer rights.

Still awaiting refund.

I HOPE EVERYBODY READING MY REVIEW TAKES MY ADVICE AND AVOIDS YOU LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!

I went completely out of my comfort zone when I ordered two sofas in “dusky pink” which meant new curtains and cushions covers but so glad I did!
I love the sofas and they are really comfortable - two of my friends have said they look “really plush”.
As I have a lot of chrome and glass in my home I decided to purchase chrome legs for my new sofas - however this is a very personal choice.

I am very pleased with the purchase, the quality of the recliner sofa and the entire process around delivering the item. Excellent communication with the seller, I was kept posted the entire time and on the day of the delivery, I received a polite phone call to confirm the sofa is on its way to me and I was also provided with a time slot. The delivery team of 2 were very punctual, exceptionally polite and helpful. A smooth purchase from beginning to end, would highly recommend!

Really not a good experience…. Sofas delivered within 5 days only one was damaged when it arrived. Told they would offer us £50 goodwill gesture. I said the box was damaged in the exact spot where sofa was damaged!!! Told I could have done it with my hoover. Cut a long story short and after a number of messages and phone calls they agreed to exchange the sofa. 3 weeks later it was delivered wrong colour and no feet!!! By this point I was well p’d off. I pushed and pushed for a refund. They came and collected the 2 sofas and had a full refund within 5 days. Must point out that the sofas were faux leather not real leather.

Initially, I had a problem with my recliner sofa. But, I was contacted by their customer service, and the problem was solved . Thanks to Emma

Bought a 2 and 3 seater sofa from the asti range. Really good looking sofas and when a spring came through, the company agreed to replace the sofa, which they did.

Received my two sofas but packaging was damp and torn was worried it may be damaged but luckily it wasn't but might put me off buying from them again
