For AI it is expensive for what it does. Did lag and overall just not a great experience. The automation are better than doing myself but hopefully they fix the credit system because its limited.

Deceptive cancellation process

Deceptive cancellation process. Still being charged months later.

They force you into a free trial at sign-up, and when you want to cancel, there's no self-serve option. The only way out is to book a call and conveniently, there's never any availability.

I emailed months ago asking to cancel and I'm still being charged. Based on other reviews, this is a pattern, not an accident. A company that makes it easy to sign up but nearly impossible to leave is telling you everything you need to know.

Don't bother. And if you already did, set a reminder, screenshot everything, and be ready to dispute charges with your bank.

Keep in mind they never replied that email so if they reply to this review that's laughable.

Update after company response:

I stand by my review. I attempted to cancel and contacted your team, but I was still charged afterward and did not receive a response resolving the cancellation at that time.

Yes, a cancel button does exist and in my experience at the time, clicking it led me to a process that required booking a call. That is exactly the issue I described in my review.

Your response says no call was needed and that a cancel button exists in Settings, but that was not my experience when I tried to cancel. The issue was only resolved after I left this public review.

I’m glad the account has now been cancelled and a refund has been issued, but my review accurately reflects what happened from my side.

I'm also more than happy to provide screenshots of my email to sales-lindy.

I had high hopes for Lindy

I had high hopes for Lindy, tbh. She's way more capable than Martin. However, as others have said, $50/month for 5,000 "credits" is too expensive. I signed up for the free trial (which gives you 5,000 credits) to try it out. I set up 2 email summaries per day to let me know what's going on and call out any high priority emails. I set up my calendar and scheduled a "Your day today..." message each morning. And I gave my morning and evening skincare regimen to her and asked for a text morning and evening for the respective routines. All she had to do was repeat the regimen back to me. By this time in the trial week, we'd burned through roughly 4,000 credits just setting up 4 tasks. This seemed fast but setup is often intensive so I asked for an estimate for running those tasks monthly. Lindy estimated 600-800 credits to run those tasks for a month. That's actually not bad, and I figured I could add a task or two to Lindy's load each month and continue to run existing in the 5,000 credit allowance.

Well it's been 10 days since renewal and she's burned through 1300 credits running only those tasks. Summarizing my email twice a day, giving me a daily overview, and telling me twice a day what my skincare routine was. At this rate, that's 3900 credits a month just to do those four insignificant tasks.

It's simply not worth it. The credits are black box. You have no idea how they get spent or how much a task will cost. This whole premise is designed to push you into overage at even more expense. I'm just trying to use Lindy for my personal life -- if I'd gone through the trouble to set it up for work I'd be out of credits already.

Save yourself the trouble. This model doesn't work and until they decide to provide greater value for price it simply won't. I'm hoping competition in the market will drive those changes.

Useless...

I came with high hopes, much given to the high price tag, but so far, Lindy is useless, I can't believe anyone let it in the market. Didn't properly parse/understand standard emails, couldn't log on services on my behalf, and couldn't access many public websites due to IP blocks on its servers.

Super Laggy - Not Worth the Price

Super laggy. It can go hours without getting a response. Also some trivial tasks can burn up credits quick. Worth the free test trial to play around with it. After that, delete it. Not worth the price, or the headache. Darn. Still searching for an amazing AI agent. This isn’t the one.

Scamming by overcharging your card for a huge amount of credits that you haven't used.

First of all they are extremely over priced.
Secondly they don't have proper means of communications with their support team, unless you write something here on a review website and they immediately respond.

But what is the real issue. Somehow magically they decided to charge me 550 USD for using 44,000 credits. Whilst my monthly subscription is only 25 USD per month. And I never permitted overcharge for additional credits.

Thanks god I didn't have that amount on my card to allow them to withdraw 550 USD from me. It is an act of scam totally.

Lindy, if you are seeing this, you better delete my account, because I ain't coming back.

Scammers

Scammers - they keep charging after cancellation! I cancelled my subscription, but they continue to take payments from my account. They refuse to delete my account and their support team doesn't respond to any emails. Be very careful with this company - they make it impossible to actually cancel and stop the charges. Avoid at all costs!

Look up to Lovable, which actually works as promised.

UPDATE - so, to be fair, an email elicited an immediate refund promise, so I've upgraded to three stars. But a free tier intro membership should work without having to write emails to ask for your money back.

We offer a free trial of our Pro plan, which automatically continues unless the account is switched to the Free plan at the end of the trial (this is noted during signup). In your case, the trial started on December 4 and the account was charged after it ended.

As soon as you contacted support, we issued a full refund right away. We’re always happy to help clarify billing or account settings if needed.

Serious Privacy Concerns and Careless Customer Support

After deleting my account, I was still charged $34.99 - which should never happen if a system properly removes payment information and personal data. When I raised this with their support team, their response was shockingly casual: “No worries, you won’t be charged again.” No investigation, no acknowledgment of the severity of processing a payment after account deletion, and no transparency about how my information remained active. This kind of negligence raises serious red flags about Lindy’s compliance and data security practices. Considering how many permissions and integrations the platform demands across email, calendars, and cloud storage, I wouldn’t trust this company with any personal or sensitive data.

The worst part is that there is nowhere…

The worst part is that there is nowhere to contact support. Nowhere. So if you have an issue, you have to use more credits and get answers from their AI agent. That was just the worst. They say they give you 500 credits as a free trial. I started using it, and within a few minutes, it said that I had used my 500 credits.
I sign up for the Pro account, $49/month for 5000 credits. I started using it, and within 10 minutes, it tells me that I've already used another 5,000 credits and that I needed to upgrade again. So no warning at all. Clearly this is the first time I'm using it because I just came from a free trial. Somehow they recommended me to you to use an agent that uses 5,000 credits in less than 10 minutes. I know they probably don't intend it to do that, but there's no warning or anything that you've already used 5,000 credits in free trial. No disrespect to whoever set this up, but this whole customer journey and everything feels like it was just vibe-coded and not really thinking about the customer.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Lindy.ai. I clicked on a button in an email they sent me, and was immediately charged without any clear warning or confirmation step.

This felt like a deceptive practice.When I realized what happened and requested a refund, they refused to process it.

This is unacceptable business practice - charging customers without explicit, clear consent and then refusing to make it right.I expected better transparency and customer service.

Being charged unexpectedly and then denied a refund feels fraudulent. I would strongly advise others to be extremely careful when interacting with any Lindy.ai emails or to avoid the service altogether until they improve their billing practices and customer support.

Not recommended.

Not able to handle complexity, not worth the hype

Promises 7,500 credits and I only got 5,000. Keeps breaking. I've written to customer support twice but I never heard back from them. It's okay for uber simple automations but for anything complex, it's rubbish. The Agent builder was as ignorant as I was and testing and learning stuff while calmly using my credit. It's a good idea but the execution is poor and the absence of customer support is just unacceptable.

It make the Website great

It make the Website great, with full functional backend and understand my request well. But the main problem i am facing is that some requests get's crashes. Like it loads for hours. Tried to email them, but did not get any response. I want them to fix this issue.

Clearly a scam. Their AI agent burnt through over 2000 paid credits, just to decide it wasn’t right and delete everything, without asking, puttng me back to scratch and requiring more money for credits to redo it all. I have had far more success using free Gemini and DeepSeek

Can't even book a call with them to get a demo because they want us to promise $1,500 for a custom AI Agency or else "sorry can't book calendly at this moment"

Almost never i write a review

Almost never i write a review. But this company is so annoying its insane. Support is horrible. Unsubscribed from there email list i think 15 times now and still they keep going with there fk emails everyday. Really a worthless company and there ai caller also doesnt work at all.

People please dont do anything with this company.
